...of actually trying to nuke up the USA? I hear both sides that they are just trying to intimidate for being controlled in their Nukes testing and I also hear they will go through with it. What do YOU believe?

I wondered for a while, but apparently it has been confirmed they don't even have the technology to do it, and they seem to threaten a different country every other week with nuclear war.

Nothing to worry over.

I mean if they do then the North Korean regime would perish from the Earth. They only have one type of missile capable of reaching to midwest of the US. However the payload these can carry are terribly small, and the missiles themselves highly inaccurate. Also even if they attacked South orea the US would still be there, and well lets just be honest, the only way it ends for North Korea is badly.

Yeah. They are a lot more talk than anything and they aren't even intimidating either. One of my friends says that they usually send their largest men over there JUST in case as an intimidation factor. It was rather funny...because they are relatively tiny people.

to follow through on their threat they would need a rocket that actually works...

they are closer to that than most people assume though...thanks to their collaboration with iran which seems to be -much- better at rockets than they are...

but still they are likely several years away from being away to make good on their threats...

I think Kim Jong Un actually wants to impose some western reforms on NK.
BUT he has pressure from the old guard.

Pay attention and you'll notice a pattern.

A few months ago he passed some major good reforms, but then gave off all this heated rhetoric.

He JUST had Dennis Rodman there, and now he's talkin about nukin America!

Seeing a pattern yet?

The dude isn't even 30. The last thing he wants is some stupid war. He wants to get into the 21st century with the rest of the world. But to attain that he has to blow some smoke to keep the old guard appeased.

I don't worry, but I really think we ought to be careful when it comes to estimating their strength. Is it likely that they can fulfill their threat? No.

Likelihoods are not possibilities though. I hope that our leaders are careful enough to take unlikely possibilities to heart. That, friends, is a tendency that kills people, political movements, and entire nations if they're not too careful.

They say he is a huge xbox fan.
I think he been playing too many Halo games or something.

That funny. Halo is NOTHING compared to reality. I guess in his case, video games ensue violent thoughts. Then again, I've heard he's a basketcase too. I doubt he'd try to do anything though.

Personality I believe that if you make a threat with that kind of weight behind it everyone should stop and take it very seriously. They have the capabilities. They have had a rocket in space from what I read. The worst damage that could be done is with one warhead 300miles up the EMP would fry every electronic device we have. The power gride would be down for years. I hate to say it but not many people this day in age could survive without electronics. I for one took the threat very serious and bought supplies just to be safe. I for one will protect my family till I can no longer breathe.

Where's James Bond when you need him?
