I would think it would be scarier to think Satan doesn't have to ask permission and that you are at his whim than to face up to why God allows it...for our good and our growth!

I checked and found that one of the books he authored won the Guild of Christian Writers Silver Medal award.
I guess that members of their awards committee are not big on doctrinal soundness.
Well yes, I would agree. However, Satan did not ask for permission. It's not there. You would have to quote it to me, but no one can. It's conjecture.

Blameless and sinless is not the same thing. Blameless means God has forgiven you for sins you commited and does not punish you because you repented and learned.
God doesn't have to forgive. If God was only just and NOT merciful,many people would suffer a lot more than they do, but God is testing the Earth and sadly most people are failing the test...choosing evil over suffering for the sake of the Gospel truth.

Job sacrificed. But, didn't know the true character of God. Therefore promises from God wouldn't cause faith.
So where is true faith if one doesn't know God will protect? Or heal? Or deliver? So take a pill. No condemnation. Making a point.
I pray for this everytime i time I go out in my car. Sometimes around our property. I believe in angelic protection for His own.

I don't understand your first sentence.
Your second sentence could get into a very long discussion that I would love! As succinctly as I can, for now, true faith isn't believing God will heal every sickness you might ever encounter on earth. True faith is trusting even though you don't like or understand it, that He will mean it for your good. He works ALL things for your good. And even if anyone means it for evil, He means it for good.
being said that this is a poetic writing, have you ever stood back and given a thought of the perspective of iyov as a man who never sold his birthright.

Job sin was he held to HIS righteousness instead of proclaiming God's mercy for the sins he did commit and was forgiven...he did not commit the sins his friends accused him of and he did many righteous thing but Jesus said even if you did that you are still an UNPROFITABLE SERVANT

You aren't seeing that this is another situation. Job has just spoken of all that He has done to keep himself "pure". As if a mans works can ever equal the pure Holy Father and His goodness.
Its my belief that Job was of the first or at least a previous age. That our present time period is the recreation from Jobs age.
We know from scripture that in the mind of Father, that His sacrifice offered of His only Son was from the foundation of the world. Is the wording. So would they have this knowledge too? We don't know. But, there is a fall, but not of men. The 1/3 of angels with Lucifer fell from Heaven in this time period.
So righteousness as we understand it. Imputed to us. Perhaps Elihu knew, but Job was depending on his own. Who knows? Just ruminating, same as all here.

Job sacrificed so he must of had had some kind of knowledge of innocent blood covering for sin.
I like the poster who said blameless and sinless are two different things...
To me, this is like saying, walking in truth does not mean sinless. It just means honest! Not hiding your heart but facing up to what is in it.

If Elihu spoke by the leading of the Holy spirit....then declaring that the spirit that moved to speak was not God would be wrong.
