I was wondering what some of y'alls favorite scriptures were if you cared to share.

One of mine is Romans 5:1-5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

I like the scriptures that you never hear in the organized churches because they contradict their precious saved In sin, false gospel, promising the people liberty while that are still carnal sold under sin!

Most like the verses that are safe like John 3-16, or Eph, 2-8-9, etc, they claim just believe and your saved, or they use the other verese to say its not of a working faith through love!

Here are a few verses that should stir up those who think you are a saved sinner, and that you do nothing such as obey, and stop sinning!

God is angry with the wicked every day!
Psa 7:9 O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the just. For the righteous God tries the minds and hearts.
Psa 7:10 My defense is from God, who saves the upright in heart.
Psa 7:11 God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
Psa 7:12 If he does not turn, (Repent) He (God) will sharpen His sword; He has bent His bow and made it ready.
It seem many who profess Christ today love to ignore the strong warnings coming from the few who love them enough to give them the harsh truth!
But they are a prisoner of their own choosing, as they cling to their beloved false doctrines, that declare them saved and secure while they still wallow in sins of the flesh, mocking God who is waiting patiently for now for them to repent! 2 Peter 3-9.
They tell other lost souls its ok, they do the same thing, no one is perfect, we all sin everyday in thought, word and deed, God doesn’t care because it’s His job to clean them up and make them holy!
They argue in favor of sin and unrighteousness ever time the righteous call them out on their sins, which to them is just a struggle as they fall into lust, adultery, drunkenness, fornication, and out bursts of hate and anger!
They fail to realize God is angry with the wicked every day, He has nothing for the false converts who brag daily they are the chief of sinners, and that God winks at their sin and disobedience, why they cry out to God for help, when their life in an unrepentant mess!
So remember the wicked are not just the serial killers, bank robbers, murderers, etc., but may be you, IF you think you can sin like the devil, serving two masters, and think that Jesus came to cloak you in His righteousness, so you are now forever secure no matter what you do, then you need a strong wakeup call!
Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that he also will reap.
Gal 6:8 For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit!
Zep 1:17 And I will bring distress on men, so that they shall walk with the blind, because they have sinned against God. And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as dung.
These are just a few strong warnings coming from the word of God, testing His creation, as they mock His truth; test His patients, while they think they are being blessed!
Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in Your sight. You hate all doers of iniquity.
Psa 5:6 You shall destroy those who speak lies; God will despise the bloody and deceitful man.
Does this sound like a God who doesn’t care if you continue to sin willfully against Him? Does this sound like a God that turns His back on your rebellion and disobedience towards Him? And does this sound like a God who has declared you righteous even while you commit vile acts of sin against Him, calling it a struggle, and not what it is which is a high crime against God!

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Isaiah 57:1

Romans 8: 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Some of mine are

Because I your God have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go. I'm telling you, Don't Panic I'm right there to help You. Isaiah 41:13

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psalms 91:11

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 7:6

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalms 23:4

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:3

I like these verses in Haggai 1

2 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: The people are saying, ‘The time has not yet come to rebuild the house of the Lord.’”

3 Then the Lord sent this message through the prophet Haggai: 4 “Why are you living in luxurious houses while my house lies in ruins? 5 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! 6 You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes!

7 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! 8 Now go up into the hills, bring down timber, and rebuild my house. Then I will take pleasure in it and be honored, says the Lord. 9 You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine houses.

Also in Amos 8:11-12

“The time is surely coming,” says the Sovereign Lord,
“when I will send a famine on the land—
not a famine of bread or water
but of hearing the words of the Lord.
People will stagger from sea to sea
and wander from border to border[a]
searching for the word of the Lord,
but they will not find it.

2Corinthians 10:18
When people commend themselves, it doesn’t count for much. The important thing is for the Lord to commend them.

1John 2:28
And now, dear children, remain in fellowship with Christ so that when he returns, you will be full of courage and not shrink back from him in shame.

Philippians 4:4
Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! :)
