Aaron, there is absolutely no place you must go to be with the Lord on the Sabbath. Do you read anywhere in the 4th commandment that you must go here or there?
It is a “HOLY DAY” not a holy place. Do you know of a truly holy place on this earth?
I also was quite clear- God is everywhere and at all times present. But if He decided to literally create a special day, a holy day, do you think it was / is very important TO HIM?
The first of the Sabbaths came on Sunday at the end of the Sabbaths...Matthew 28:1.

literal seventh-day Sabbath was fulfilled by Christ, making observance a matter of personal conscience. The
Sabbath you pretend to observe was not given as a commandment in the NT and is not possible for anyone.
What you promote was part of the Old Covenant: obsolete and passing away. I am a New Covenant Christian,
Sabbatarians have their own version of the law not found in Scriptures.
From Acts 15 v 20 plus 28 Abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals, and from blood. It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond these essential requirements
The scripture never mentions the phrase "ceremonial law".
That is a Catholic term used in their theology (Thomas Aquinas et al.).
The scripture uses just one word to describe the Mosaic law, and that is "law".
For example in the following two verses.
Romans 6:14
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:15
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? May it never be!
Christians are not under the law and the law itself was the shadow.

A day of the week always ended at sunset.
Always began the new day after sunset.
The first day of the week began to dawn speaks of what time of that first day was taking place.
It states...at the end of the Sabbaths, as it dawned on the first of the Sabbaths. The word you interpret as Sabbath is the same word you later interpret as week. It's the same Greek word. So, if the original term means Sabbath, so does the second.
Not sure what you are trying to say. Jesus was crucified on Friday, He was in the grave on the Sabbath (Saturday), and He rose on the 1st day of the week or Sunday. Do you agree with that? Thanks.
Yes. But if one understands the translation of Matthew 28:1 to mean an end of the Sabbath and the beginning of a Sabbath, this is the scriptural basis for a first day of the week Sabbath.

His Sabbath was Saturday, so he could lounge around and watch a football game, etc.

It was a "special sabbath."
Not the regular sabbath.

Now it was the day of Preparation, and the next day was to be a special Sabbath.
Because the Jewish leaders did not want the bodies left on the crosses during
the Sabbath, they asked Pilate to have the legs broken and the bodies taken down.
The Jews had different Sabbaths for times of the year.
Special sabbaths could fall on different days of the week.
Just Google - Jews had different Sabbaths not all on Saturday.
When Jesus was crucified this special sabbath was for the Passover time.
Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday.
Sunset Wednesday became Thursday
Jesus had to be in the tomb before the special Sabbath began!
So... He died Wednesday. His soul left his body before his body went into the tomb.
In the Tomb Wednesday - Thursday - Friday.
Rose on the first day of the week (Saturday).
That could have been anytime after sunset on Friday.
That way he was buried for three days and three night, and was walking about on Saturday.

I thought this verse meant that it was indeed a special Sabbath because the Passover Sabbath was aligned with the weekly Sabbath… ?
What Holy Spirit shows is keeping the sabeth day Holy is one of the ten commandments which was a Covenant to the Israelites.

They could have two sabbaths in one week when a special sabbath was involved.
Because many assumed the Sabbath was always on a Saturday that we get he was crucified on Friday.
The RCC began many traditions that stuck.
