Teenagers, I'm guilty of this too, put WAY too much focus on relationship, who's with who, why am I not with so-and-so.

Guys, ladies, let's focus on what we can do for God, and what we can do to prepare ourselves for whomever God has in store for us, though that is not our main focus. Fix your eyes on Jesus and everything else will fall into place.

I haven't had a boyfriend, never had someone tell me they want to date me, never been asked out on a date. Though I think of this as a good thing. It just seems weird to see 13-15 year olds getting boyfriends or girlfriends and breaking up with them shortly after they're together. It's messy, it's fruitless and potentially harmful.

Teens...just. Wait. Chill, and just enjoy the life and relationship you have in Jesus and cherish your family and friends.

Lil_Christian, you aren't allowed to date though...EVER! boyfriends are trouble :P HAHA, Just kidding. Yes, now is the time to focus on school and your relationship with God. Teens, take it from the people who have BEEN down your road before. We know you are all different and each to their own "snowflake" but just like our parents, we've grown up. Relationships in high school lead to drama and heartbreak. It's your time to be a growing and maturing adult. Don't feel pressured to date simply because everyone else is. :)

My 2 cents from the Scripture about teenagers peer pressure : " Whoso is walking with wise men is wise, And a companion of fools suffereth evil. " Proverbs 13 : 20

That means teenagers should pay a great attention to who they pick as " friends " and particularly " close friends " and " best friends " ! For they are as important to teenagers as counselors were to kings and princes in ancient times. Would kings and princes choose foolish ones as counselors ? Don't answer yet to that question, and see what happened to Rehoboam the son of Solomon who chose to listen the foolish advices of young men who grew up with him rather than the wise advices the elders gave him !

Also, it's better to marry than to burn, and if teenagers cannot wait more due to lack of self control, it's better for them and their future children to get married, lest the devil took advantage on them to utterly destroy them with the spirit of fornication and adultery which brings very evil stds, out of marriage pregnancies, awful heartbreaks, awful emotional baggage due to harsch emotional traumas, etc.

In other words, chose extremely well your close acquaintances, act wise,

Be safe, Be happy !

Hmmm! Itneeds faithto live that way... I lacked things I don´t yet own and living that way will bring an absolute blessing inlife to succeed.

And just remember anyone you date you either have to 1) marry or 2) break up with (or 3. one of you can die before you choose number 1 or 2 but that's just morbid). Breakups are not fun so don't plan to have a lot of them.
