hey it will be very cool to have a Spanish Room that way ppl from latin america who wants to speak spanish can do it or ppl who doesnt speak very well english can do it in spanish room and american ppl who wants to practice their spanish skills can do it there and then american ppl learn spanish those that doesnt speak.

God bless

BUT, to be fair then there would have to be a room for every other language.

im not spanish, but i think thats a really good idea! wait.......... hola. does that count???

haha..sure!!..well, u know in that room u can learn spanish while ppl talking and writing leilaii :)

At first I thought this suggestion was a bit odd, but now that I think about it, there are a large number of Spanish speaking people that come to this site. This could actually be a good idea!

duuuuhhhhhhhh:D

I'm with Lina on this--you would have to keep adding other foreign language rooms if you wanted it to be fair. Here are my thoughts.

1.) I'm all for a Spanish room, and any other room. But where does it end?

2.) As we add languages, it will be more difficult to moderate. Something crude could be happening in the French room but no one would notice because not many people speak french. And if there is no moderator who knows french, that just makes things more problematic. And then what about the number of moderators we would need to have? That could get out of hand fast, and we shouldn't make any more work for the mods, especially since this is all volunteer work on their part (as far as I know).

well, bro im just saying a spanish room and see what happens if everything goes fine and then the administrator can make another room for another language and i see your concern, i think that it will have to be a spanish moderator!

To me, it just seems like we get a lot more people that speak Spanish as a first language on here than any other group of people from a Non-English speaking country. Then again, that is just an observation and I don't have any statistic for that, so I could be very wrong and/or ignorant haha.

As far as I am aware, Robo already has plans in place to put in similar rooms to cater for this kind of thing.

I am not entirely sure what/how it will work, but I think he definitely has plans for this...sometime in the future, however I cannot tell you when, as he is extremely busy.

But it is an idea, that has been considered already. So I hope that helps somewhat.

what about a canadian room...... there are more of them any of us.. They can talk about moose.

Hey, blessed386. esta es una buena idea. pero por que no se comiensa con un grupo primero? oh ya hay un grupo en espanol?
