On King Charles, well for the most part we seem to know most everything about his personal life....

Though I think his concern for the environment is something tabloids/press don't want to acknowledge. I like that he is an active gardener, and wouldn't mind a tour of Highgrove because he's made a beautiful garden where there was bare/empty land before.
Also another thing I like is he keeps chickens. lol

And they have their own Cluckingham Palace.

The Queen famously had her corgis. But I've yet to see a Royal own a cat.
They have everything else though, horses, swans, pheasants, dogs, ravens...

Organic gardening - that's where it's at.
I remember in Spare, Harry mentioned he liked planting trees. Now royals plant a lot of trees, because they often cut ribbons and unveil plaques etc, but the hard work is often done for them and all they have to do is tamp down the soil and have a photo op, but Harry wanted to do everything, like actually dig the hole, put the tree in, water and fertilise it. lol

Well despite maybe some people taking potshots at them for sake of news and interest Harry and Meghan are going on a visit to Australia. Though the media are stressing that they're not working royals, they should stop that nonsense, let Harry be a working royal, like seriously they're going to keep beating up of Harry for really a very minor offense while literally the whole world revisits the scandals of Andrew and Charles himself? You'd think they'd welcome the opportunity to rehabilitate their molding nobility structure for a bit of a minor redemption story, and so we'll still hope for Harry and Archie to not be Spares, but true Nobles, praise Jesus.

Are they coming to New Zealand, which is just 'across the ditch'? I haven't heard anything about that.
I think they (H&M) have been here before, but I can't remember ever seeing them, or any of the hoo-ha at the time.

I do recall it was a big deal that the Cambridges went to the Cardrona Hotel, and skied in Queenstown, or something, but all the rich tourists do that.

What would make news is if Wills rescued a whale, or Harry got a Maori tattoo, or something.
He could plant a few (native) trees too. We could do with one on top of One Tree Hill.

Activities for Meghan and Harry to do in NZ

Put their show in the Pop Up Shakespeare Globe, and set their love story to music. Maybe they could get the Lloyd Webbers to help.
Harry - Bungee Jump, a good photo op. Try taming the Kaimawana horses.
Meghan - meet up with Nadia Lim and learn how to put food in a bag, or do a food bank drive to help hungry kiwis.

Where to stay...unfortunately Govt house may be unavailable, but perhaps a good option with privacy would be....the Waitomo Caves?
One of the Lighthouses? A Night in the Museum? A Maui Campervan.

Because for sure, luxury bunkers are a dime a dozen here in NZ. We only have one castle though, in Dunedin. If they stay there, they may have to deal with the resident ghost.

I have a list of Gardens that King Charles and Queen Camilla could visit.
They could come to my garden club, and give tips, but they have to be aware that we don't really have much money, and can't just buy in truckloads of compost. We have to make it ourselves. We could trade cottage garden seeds for ferns to put in their Edwardian cases.
If they time it right they could come when the Stinky Arum lily is in bloom in the Auckland Domains Wintergardens.
They could also maybe put a protection order on our native forests, to stop anyone destroying them.

I can think of loads of things they could do for the good of the country. I don't know if it's technically still theirs, but the English do act like they own it.

In other news (gossip) the press are reporting that the late Queen Elizabeth 2 is now having an official biography written about her life. It will be written by *gasp* another woman, as King Charles has specified that a man is not allowed to write it.

Consider the collection of the late Queen's crown jewels, especially her epic tiara collection that's actually originates from various other European royal houses or countries as well. Many of these have gone missing at least from the information space, but it is speculated actually Princess Anne, Charles and Andrew's overlooked sister, might actually have a secret inner court alliance with Prince William to basically try to keep most of the tiara away from Camilla's evil clutches. The most prized of which is the Lover's Knot Tiara, which Diana wore in most of her iconic photos, and which Kate is the last known wearer, but she's not the rightful bearer, it is uncertain who is the actual owner whether Anne, Charles-Camilla, Kate, or it has simply reverted to the Crown itself. Then factoring in Meghan and Harry, Meghan is the last wearer of the less famous but still no doubt iconic Queen Mary Diamond Bandaeu Tiara. And the evil Morgana-like Camilla actually does possess one of the tiaras already sadly, the Queen Alexandra Tiara, which is actually originally from the Russian royal family, but it is rumored she seeks to either lay claim to or defile by wearing the others to absorb all their princess power for herself.

TL;DR Though the video is more akin to royal gossip bordering conspiracy theory, it's kinda fun as the tiara s and jewels are actualyl real artifacts so I will include a basic wiki of them too. It's like Game of Thrones but instead of gore its more like Mean Girls meets LOTR. Though the royal family will be male centered for a while, and really to set the Windsor dynasty now, there's still a lot of intrigue here for women and the princesses as in the rights to wear and bear the tiaras of power! I should add Princess Anne while speculated to secretly have inherited the other tiaras but we cannot confirm, it is the publicly known she is the owner of the Meander Tiara which actually is connected to the defunct Greek royal family too. The last wearer of it is her daughter Zara who isn't actually an official royal but I guess is a nice little nod and cool benefit to the history.

What I found kinda suss was Princess Catherine wearing Princess Diana's engagement ring. Am not sure if the two met in real life before Diana died. But I would have thought wearing the engagement ring of a divorcee would have been bad luck?

According to reports, Diana picked out the biggest rock on the tray. I think it's nickname was 'big bluey' - a huge sapphire surrounded by diamonds.

I learned that Princess Beatrice wore one of her granny's dresses for her wedding. They must have been about the same size, so she's not short of clothing.
Diana famously auctioned her wardrobe for charity. Apparently it was William's idea. The most coveted gown, apart from her wedding gown was the 'Elvis' white diamante ensemble that she wore when she danced with John Travolta.

There are entire books and magazines dedicated to Diana's wardrobe, that track most nearly everything she wore in public everyday.
The only thing I am wondering is did Diana ever wear pyjamas, if so, what print did they have on them, and did she have bunny slippers or what.

The Queen wore colourful outfits so she could be seen. It wouldn't do for a Queen to blend in the background!

I can't imagine what her wardrobe budget was like. It would be astronomical. She'd never run out of clothes, and if she ever did she could always sell a piece of jewellery.

The interesting thing about all the royal gossip rags is...they get up in arms if the royals repeat outfits. Or they praise them for wearing the same evening gown again. Court reporters flatter, tabloids take pot shots.

For ordinary commoners, this kind of attitude toward clothing is off the scale. It's all pomp and ceremony though, and people love that. The royals are obliged to put on a good show.

Although I kind of like that Princess Anne was no-nonsense about it. She could afford to have this attitude (I am so priveliged that I don't care) kind of thing.

Not gonna lie I cringed pretty hard when I saw you put the title of Queen next to Camilla's name. Princess Anne is ironic, she denied most royal titles besides the lowest rank of being a knight, and now Anne might be the key to saving the entire nobility and making sure William wins the hidden battles in the shadows of the inner court politics. We're rooting for Anne as sort of the heroine that can mitigate the evil influence of Camilla and the shameful downfall of Andrew.

If you think about it Harry and Meghan did a great service to the Crown with their unofficial tour of Austrlia. They successfully changed the narrative away from two pretty big scandals against the Royal family and let the tongues wag against themselves for more benign (or maybe banal is the better word) reasons. Also for bonus points the official AI-certified most cringey and disgusting politician Keir Starmer is in attendence presumably just for laughs and as a poignant reminder of why truly Britain still needs its royals and nobility with clowns like Keir around.
