Have heard nothing about it, though I always wondered if the British H&M store stood for Harry and Meghan.

I applied for a new passport, and it now says I am protected by His Majesty the King instead of Her Majesty the Queen which was on my old passport. Passports are valid 10 years in NZ.

Because of the larger Muslim population in the UK thanks to Pakistan immigration, I guess they can't get away from celebrating Ramadan. Ramadan is pretty benign though, basically it's fasting during the day and all you can eat at night. Not sure how long it lasts though.
Easter is fasting from something, like TV, social media or chocolate, or cheese for 40 days and 40 nights. So pretty similar.

Press always called Andrew 'Randy Andy' so his behaviour really isn't a surprise to anyone. Fergie had way more exposure though and was different for her because she wasn't preying on younger toy boys.
Wasn't Andrew engaged to a porn star at one point? Koo somebody...

Well I suppose it is only fair to focus on the bearer of the Crown and give his official address to mark the centenary in remembrance of Queen Elizabeth II. Though a memorial this is also somewhat significant for Charles own kingship as its really his 3rd public address apart from his normal scheduled ones. Many speculators and watchers are of course reading this as Charles recommitting to remaining the King and tamping down subtly on abdication rumors following the Easter and Ramadan scandals as well as the general instability scandals like Andrew's very storied past as you so artfully put it lol. The Ramadan thing is big deal because its not just that he gave a Ramadan message, we understand indeed like you say the British empire is a very diverse community, but it's that he denied and pretty blatantly insulted Christianity on Easter at the same time. The hypocrisy besides just the clear antichrist attitude is what had that as a big scandal and not long ago. This is where really Charles should be kissing Harry and Meghan's feet and rehabilitating them lightweight since they just totally took that scandal away from the headlines ahead of the centenary for his mother.

How did King Charles insult Christianity? By not observing Easter...or ignoring it? Was he like the rooster that crowed 3 times...or Peter denying Christ.

How exactly would Charles kiss Harry and Meghan's feet and rehab them? I don't think they really want to return to the UK. They wanna do their own thing. They make their own press

Yea not only that but he went out of his way to talk down on Christianity and harp about how he can't favor religion and then you know immediately days after its all Ramadan Mubarak, a total insult against God but also just even common sense. If he were just a regular person that be pretty bad in itself, basically he's an apostate, but this is worse because he's the King and also has his hands in a major denomination and obviously a large swath of the politics of this Earth.

I give credit to the Australians they really spoke out, most of the apostates of the commonwealth are evil and have gone over to the pagans, but Australia they spoke out. So it is also a good hidden blessing that Harry and Meghan went to Australia for their unofficial royal visit even if they get lampooned hard, that takes the heat off in a big way from the King himself. He should consider it somewhat since Harry is the one most estranged from him and obviously Meghan and Camilla though weirdly similar in their scandalousness in the game of princesses, they are also kinda bitter rivals as namely the split occured with Meghan calling Camilla a racist basically on Oprah years back. At any rate I guess for context here's the video though its news from 2 weeks ago, but hey, God bless Australia for their courage in speaking up, and in particular Danica, she puts her finger on it most perfectly.

With the end of Harry and Meghan's Aussie tour it is clear to me that may Harry and Meghan be rehabilitated for saving their disgraced father from a major PR nightmare on top of a very real spiritual evil and chaos. May Charles find some redemption to his lackluster reign by making sure William shall be strong and reconciling with Harry as per the Malachi 4 prophecy. May Keir Starmer be parodied into a straight up small cottage industry for the rest of mortal time. Praise Jesus.

hmm ok they (H&M) aren't making news here in NZ as far as I know unless someone is looking/following them.
Australians make republicanism a big deal, they've been leaning toward it for a while.

Harry spent some of his gap year on an Australian farm if I recall.

I dunno about the prophecy. But if Kingship is to be taken seriously, it's better to please the Lord above than men.
You can't treat it as a joke...the royals have incredible wealth and entire nations at their feet. Commonwealth nations still have to pay tribute to the King, if not in money but in material wealth, labour and land.

They cannot just pander to the rich and their own circles but must have care and compassion for their subjects, the commoners, the ordinary people with no titles, who labour for them so the priveliged can enjoy their riches, whether it's tea or coffee or diamonds and pearls. smh

You're right indeed, and this is the interest in reforming and restoring the nobility to a degree. Partly it is also the natural course of things since Queen Elizabeth was a female monarch she represents a change in the dynasty, now Windsor, but Charles as the first male in what looks like a line that is secure for three generations minimum (God willing) has to set up the court and the lesser nobility structure to cement the Windsor dynasty.

The prophecy is simply Malachi 4 in whole, it's a short chapter of the Bible, last chapter of the OT. Whoever performs the prophecy will be blessed, and whoever doesn't, well, God tells you what he'll do to that king's land. Even besides this our belief, it is beneficial even from a less spiritual and more pragmatic-secular point of view to reconcile Harry to his father and brother and nephew; the present and future kings. Harry doesn't have to be a spare like he fears, he can be a key player as a noble and in the restructuring of the nobility and rejuvenation of all the commonwealth even to the praise Jesus.

Well, say hypothetically something happens in the near future and William can't be King either and so it's down to George to ascend the throne, but he is only a young boy. Wouldn't he need Uncle Harry acting as regent to guide him?

In the Spare book, it seems like Harry does have a good relationship with his father, minus Camilla, but his animosity was more for his brother, his rival. Things may have changed since that book's publication, but I always thought it was the whole favoured brother thing that was Harry's cross to bear.

I didn't really know that Camilla was racist toward Meghan, I thought it was Prince Phillip, as he had a reputation for being racist, thinking he could make derogatory jokes about people who were not British or spoke English and it wouldn't matter.

People would give him wide berth though and only tolerated him because he was married to the Queen, and it seems to me she would have divorced him at some point if she could have.

Yea defender of the faith, would have been the faith once delivered to the saints (ie the gospel of salvation) in Jude 1:3
I know people believe what they want to believe, and there are other religions besides christianity that people can believe in, but King Charles isn't a King of all people. He's specifically one that Christendom has traditionally upheld - the entire Church of England was founded by the Royals. He can't just change that to suit him. He'd only ever be truly royal if he upheld the faith, as his mother did. She always tried, though not always successfully - to instil Christian values to all the countries in her realm. She was a representative/ambassador for Christ, just like all Christians are meant to be.

It wasn't about who had the most riches, it was the spiritual value of all those things talked about in Galatians - the fruits of the Holy Spirit - love, joy, peace, kindness, gentleness, patience, goodness, faithfulness, temperance/self control.

You can tell a person by their fruits. I personally think the last two Charles has struggled with and needs a lot of help with - and prayer for

It's the trade-off of nobility, that's part of the package of the crowns and tiaras and their weight with being a royal, yea they get privileges, but they get extra scrutiny and tongues wagging too. It's also somewhat topical since this is really what led to the original rift between Harry and Meghan and the now King Charles (Megxit) so I'll include some brief videos just to refresh on that for your awesome royals news topic here. Can't believe I didn't see this topic before, but thank you for making it, I like your insights on the royals, its fresh for the news section, you're already smart but may God bless you with more, praise Jesus.

Huh I read 'Revenge' and don't really remember the allegation about Camilla, but seems like they both made each other upset (Meghan and Kate) at Meghan's wedding - everyone's emotional at a wedding, and can somewhat imagine there being both sides to the story over wardrobe issues.

Ginger afro, well, Harry was always teased about his red hair (or ginger hair) he can't do anything about it, it's in his genetics. And yes, afros are also genetic. Meghan did have curly hair before she straightened it. It wasn't a huge fro, but it was bouncy! Hair is a funny thing, you can change it if you don't really like it but it requires a lot of maintenance. Better with hair than balding!

I don't know if Camilla said that to be spiteful or malicious, don't know wasn't there. But they shouldn't take it all the wrong way. People are different, children are a mix of their parents. You never know what of the parents features end up with in offspring.

Otherwise, seems like a storm in a teacup. I'd be more concerned if it was constant jabs and microaggressions coming from hostile royals, or stabs in the back rather than just being honest and talking about appearances, that's just the way it is with the royals or anyone in the public eye, and unfortunately, for good or ill, their children.

Fergie has ginger hair too, and her daughters...

Being a ginger is a good thing though! Ginger Spice was the most popular Spice Girl! Scary Spice was also well-loved, and she was dark with curly hair! So what are people going on about...?

Second thought about it, Is it really taboo for races to mix or still to mix in this day and age???
It was against the law at some point esp in the US, they can't erase that from their history - look up Miscegenation. Slave owners didn't want it to happen obviously it would ruin the master-slave relationship. But who can stop people from falling in love?

.I haven't thoroughly researched it, but wasn't it deemed unconstitutional (sp?) to forbid marriages between races after enough people wanted to of their own will. There was a court case in the US and the supreme court changed the law?

I don't know, it's a tricky thing for 'breeding' making the Royals the most inbred type of family in history. It's not a good thing to constantly do that from a genetics POV. God tried to do it with the Israelites, or maybe only specifically forbidding marriage with the Caaananites, but it meant some couldn't marry anybody and end up marrying their own cousins.

Well it's kind of an off color remark more than racist in my opinion, but still the scandal is out of our hands and is old by now too, and royals get more scrutiny after all, so fair is fair. I was more looking at how this touches into the more recent news. It's old news but I can kinda see from both sides, I think maybe it wasn't intended to be racist, but also maybe its kind of weird and at the time of it all Meghan and Harry news was still a fresh media blitz and in their personal lives they were like just starting into their marriage like only 1 or 2 years into it. Though I'd say recently with Meghan's trip to Australia and unveiling some new candles centered around Harry and Archie's red hair, maybe Meghan turn back some and balm over this which is indeed the origin of the rift. Now that she has embraced the ginger hair and some time has passed indeed maybe if Harry and Meghan go to actual Sussex and humble themselves before the King and Harry's father the reconciliation could happen. Though of course the royal gossip news are ragging on Meghan as grifting I'd note that her small business ventures and modern sorta use to the paarazzi and fast paced new information age could be a real asset to the Crown. If you think about it beneath her valley girl surface level consciousness actually Meghan reveals she has some Duchess cunning in being able to raise some money without taxing the peasants and just living lush outright off their dole like other royals and nobles whom are "working royals" less deservedly so by both their birth and merit.

mm
I think both sides to the story, she's had her struggles making it in the US and really had to work at her craft, but then being the actress that she is, it's not easy until someone gives you a lucky break. This is not admired in the UK where class and wealth seem to be set in stone and you aren't allowed too much upward mobility.

In the papers (yes still read the papers, it's not the tabloid) the royal headline today is King Charles to visit US.

There is nothing about Harry and Meghan. Nothing about their visit to Australia, it does not rate in New Zealand unless they are visiting us.
When Royals visit other countries, may be significant only the US because, there are tensions there, and USA is ALWAYS in the international news, it's like non-stop. People here are tired of it, honestly.
