Wow, that is a fast growth spurt... and I noticed you cut the six hour trip part from my post... was I in error thinking it was three hours one way? Is it a three hour round trip, 90 minutes each way? That would be a whole lot better for you. I am glad you keep your mind occupied with the Word while you are driving... I listen to Christian teachings while in my car, alsoOver the years it sure adds up... I even listen to the ones I don't like LOL because even from them I can learn something important. All it takes is a turn of a phrase...
We feed them sweet feed as soon as they can eat it.
I don't use steriods like the big cattle boys do. I
could but, I won't.
The trip is 3 hours each way, when I go by to see
April, it takes a little longer. If I make a stop on the
way home, add about 30 minutes more. I try not to
stop, I take my small drink cooler, put in a couple of
drinks on ice, I'm good to go.
Sometimes the music, gets on my nerves. It is then,
when I pray. At times, I just want peace and quite.
That is the time, that I listen to what God is telling me.

I like snow and ice, can we please have winter back? This heat is awful.
At least in the winter you can practice curling with cars.
Well, in a coupla months we'll be needing spiked tires, that'll be fun...I have a track record on snowy roads nobodys gonna envy...4wd just aint making no differene for some...lol
I am really glad to hear you do not use steroids on your babies, Frank... you know I know next to nothing really about farming the land because I have never done it, not even had a garden that I cared for but it does bother me all the toxins that are put into the crops and then go into the ground (and then into our water systems) and those that get used on the stock and there is so much worse happening... (I eat organic and free range and hormone free as much as possible). We know mad cow disease was the fault of farmers feeding diseased meat refuse to herbivores, such insanity and then look at the devastation that it caused, oh my God it breaks my heart. I just looked at some pictures and I am crying now, I cannot stand that people treat their animals so badly, I actually became mostly vegetarian for a few years as a conscientious protest against poor animal treatment (partial only because I still ate fish).

So, my mom is a licensed driver again. It felt so weird handing over my keys as last time she was by herself she drove into a ditch not once but twice. Hopefully that was a thing of the past and it won't happen again

The Dr said the plate will be here in the morning.
He will try to do the operation on Tuesday
