Every winter, out on the river in back of my apt. building we get anywhere between 50- 150 mallard ducks. They stay out there all winter, and fly away at night but they come back every morning. It is so awesome to watch them fly down.. They stay here year-round but go elsewhere in Vt. in summer.. lol

yeah...it is really something to see...I almost fainted with the cuteness of the ducklings this summer...and even as adults they still sometimes march along...the ducks come marching haha

I am probably the only person who can get injured doing laundry.....never knee a door on a dryer...

Mouth comes back home today.. I've enjoyed my 8 days of peace and quiet while she was gone. But poor Princess (her cat) hasn't had any attention or lovings all week. Princess will drive Denise nuts wanting attention, when she gets back home.. lol

Here it is almost November and it's going to be 70 degrees all this week where I live.

I bought the kitties some new toys as when they were kittens they destroyed their poles with strings and things to chase and who knows where the balls went.

So with a new fishing pole and two mice and three balls they got new toys and I threw out the old mess.... They are two happy cats and have been chasing balls, mice and jumping after the fish on the wooden pole which should last longer than the cheap plastic poles.... Sugar and Tango are two happy cats today.
