Thank you so much for praying for my wife! :) She is going in on Tuesday to get a thorough exam of her gallbladder and might need to have it removed. She has experienced these symptoms off and on for the last 2 weeks. Please everyone keep her in your prayers.


  • Severe abdominal pain.
  • Pain that may extend beneath the right shoulder blade or to the back.
  • Pain that worsens after eating a meal, particularly fatty or greasy foods.
  • Pain that feels dull, sharp, or crampy.
 
Just got out of two meetings and found out I do not have to take out any student loans my last year. God has been so good to me

Wow... that is so unpleasant... :(

The good thing is that if she actually needs to have it removed, the surgery is quick and the recovery is pretty swift!!

I'll keep her in my prayers!! :)

The Lord is leading her way!! :)

No, but meringues are pretty tasty! Every once in a while, on a very special occasion, I will bake a hefty white chocolate cheesecake and put a raspberry topping on it after it has been baked, which in turn gets covered by more chocolate whipped into sweetened sour cream... for the base I use crumbled shortbread cookies mixed with chocolate wafers... it is a very heavy cake with one kg of cream cheese in it and a pound of white chocolate plus the other fixings :) Otherwise I do not bake much... a chocolate bundt cake with cherries sometimes but again not very often...
 
A friend of mine who was a kosher chef once baked me a lovely purple cake surrounded by lavender meringue fingers... he told me that he had to make the meringues a number of times to get the right shade of lavender LOL gosh it is nice to have such caring friends :)
 
I saw a skunk the size of a squirrel the other day. It must have been a very young one!
I had to slow down to allow it room on the road so as to not frighten it.

Lol, I was picturing you trying to put Vaseline on a squirrel, then I realized you hung nuts over a big tub of Vasoline and watched the squirrels gofor a swim.
How often do you do that to a bird house?
