Well, they have a never ending flow of low wage laborers from those second class Nations showing up every day, so, maybe? Didn't hear what kind of coffee they were trying to grow though..... I'll stick with my Medium Maxwell House. Caffeinated and reasonably cheep.

Them illegal immigrants are not employable...
The fines for doing so or not checking to see if they can be hired are extremely expensive.

There's a system in place that all employers have to use...that's why we have to fill out I-9 forms that need two pieces of identity. It's fed into a gubberment system and part of the accounting software used to pay employees these days by just about everyone. (Much cheaper, quicker, and easier than doing this stuff with pencil and paper. )

There are ways for illegal immigrants to get work...but those ways are practically slave labor wages. Then there's the housing...they can't just get an apartment to rent in a complex... again credit checks stop that sort of thing. Those that don't check credit are extremely expensive...

There's no life here for those people. And when they finally figure it out they will be bitter and angry and leave.

I like Saturday morning...
In my house we have a tradition of usually making a hot breakfast of some sort.
Today's menu was:

home made pork sausage
Cheese grits
Scrambled eggs
Toast made from homemade bread. (Seedless raspberry jam)
Pete's coffee... Major Dickenson's blend.

Hadn't had the grits in a long time... been a few years.

I should go back to sleep. My whole house is asleep yet I’m awake. Not really by choice…. But at the same time I want more sleep. I didn’t sleep well last nigh, but then again there’s always nap time 😴

Oh. Good morning everyone ^_^

I will indeed say a prayer for you Zero.
Prayers going up for you hon. Been down that same road a lot of times lately. It takes a lot to control yourself even though the others were at fault. Have a blessed day sweetie

Man takes homeless 3-legged rescue shelter dog to Petco and buys him everything he touches

I adopted a dog from the dog pound. I had 2 small ones at home & wasn't looking for another one, especially a male. I usually take the dog food that my dogs wouldn't eat & on this day, I lucked out. The dog pound was full of Pitt Bulls that had just been taken from a dog fighting ring. The ones who owned the dogs were trying to get them out. But they were being put down on Friday. Most of all the dogs there were due to be put down in 3 days. This one lab mix caught my attention. He was shaking so bad like it was freezing but it wasn't . I noticed his eyes were blue. When asked if he was a pup they said no & with us blocking the sun from his face & waving our hands in front of his eyes, we found out he was blind. He was due also to be put down on Friday. He smelled death, he knew where he was & what it was. I worked 12 hour shifts & I called the next day & told them not to put him down. I was there 30 minutes before anyone on Friday morning to make sure this little fellow wasn't put down. When the man went back to get him, he told us that the dog was shaking so hard he could barely walk. I told him, he thought he was about to die. But instead he went home with me to a 2 1/2 acre back yard to play in & all the food he needed. Best part??? He was already house trained. I had him almost 2 years before he died & was one if not the best dog I've ever had in my life. I still miss him

I went to Harvest Crusade at Angels Stadium in 2007. It's one of my favorite memories.

This looks extremely scary IMHO...
Like exactly the place I need to run away from to be happy, healthy, and whole.

Half the people in the stadium just accepted Jesus, why would you want to run from that???

Is this a concert?
It's just like the old Billy Graham crusades. It's a free christian event for christians and anyone curious about becoming christian. It starts with live music, but it's mostly preaching and prayer with pastor Greg Laurie.

here's a short video of one
