After the typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) last year, the Philippines is not yet 50% recovering from the damages. This year, Glenda typhoon added to the injury. Many houses and shutdown of electricity for 2 weeks. Businesses were affected and classes in school were canceled.
We are experiencing storm surge, earthquake, and political issues. Please pray for Filipinos unity and submission to God's will. Even the Overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) are being threatened by wars in Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and other countries. They would rather risk the chaos overseas rather than die of hunger in the Philippines. The OFW feard there would be no job waiting for him/her should he/she return to the country.
My sinusitis is getting worst for crying a lot. Whenever sadness crept in, I read post/thread here and rather pray for the people and give encouragement rather than focus to crisis here in our country. But at times sadness overcomes me.
Please pray for our faith and our love for God and for one another to be stronger as ever.
