When the enemy gains a slave, to keep him better, he clothes him in armor of his choosing.
The helmet of fear, too keep his head from calming and his thoughts stuck on mercilessness and hopelessness.
The shoulder pads of guilt to weigh him down with constant memory of all he has done wrong.
The breastplate of defilement, to make the deceived wear and keep defilement over their hearts,
The gloves of temptation, To pull his hand toward the stuff that will hurt him.
The stomach guard of lust, to keep unhealthy desire on him,
The shoes of weight, to weigh down the person so too much effort is taken to go do works or run from the enemy.
The shield of idolatry, which the person has comprised of their beliefs, and they use to defend against all other beliefs.
And the gun of deception, which shoots like an ooze deception that aim to dissolve spiritual gifts like a powerful acid.
In the clothing of this armor, the slaves of the enemy are intended to not to be able to perceive anything not revealed through these things, and keep them trapped, thinking they have power from armor when really it stands to bind them.
There's another kin of spiritual armor though that is said to come from the Creator. You can put this on to withstand attacks.
Take off the helmet of fear and put on the helmet of salvation.
throw away the shield of idolatry and put on the shield of faith disowning false gods and putting faith in The Creator. take off the breastplate of defilement and instead wear the breast plate of righteousness, replacing what is held near and over your heart, Cast off the stomach guard of lust, and put on the belt of truth, change what i at your core from worldly desires to truth, dismantle the gun of deception and take up and start mastering the sword of the word, learning to use truth to fight instead of lies, cast off the gloves of temptation and the shoulder pads of guilt, which many can feel over their hands begging to commit sin and feel pressing on their shoulders all the time, the gloves removed with righteousness and the guilt removable with jesus.
I hope this has helped you learn more about what it is like to live for the enemy and the difference between living that life and and living upright.
