The gifts of the Holy Ghost are very biblicaly so and eviden but the trouble today is that they are not acompanied by fruits in most believers now in this thread we are covering the gift promises scripturally and todays aplication , also expounding gift by gift , after the gift review we will go on on the fruis of the Spirit let all be in order and within reason watching our character God bless...
 
Discussion # 1 the gifts of the holy Spirit discussed scripturally the introduction of the Holy spirit in the new testament and who is to receive them their purposes . When we can all agree this part of the discussion is over we can say next discussion .

Here we see the promise given as the complete comfirmatiom from the LORD Jesus of the promise of the gift now lets look at the fullfillment
 
4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, says he, all of you have heard of me.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but all of you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) not many days behind.

6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, will you at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father has put in his own power.

8 But all of you shall receive power, after that the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) has come upon you: and all of you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
 
Acts 2

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit (o. pneuma) gave them utterance.

5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.

6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.

7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
 
Just as I suspected you do not have any idea of what you are supposed to be talking about.

Enumerate for me the gifts to which you refer. What are the "Spiritual gifts" you are endeavoring to discuss? Stick to the biblical ones because I have no interest in non-biblical gifts in the forums.

The gift of the Holy spirit was promised since the prophets and in the new testament the gift was comfirmed by Jesus Christ and John the Baptist and the promised was fullfilled in Jerusalem during pentecost
