The key word is "willingly". Why would Adam have willingly eaten of the tree of knowledge unless he had been deceived? Or are you claiming that a Christian cannot be deceived? Remember Genesis 3:1 and the outcome of an act of deception or the warnings issued about very human con artists, how much more effective can an entity that most people cannot detect be when whispering in one's ear, and acting to arrange events to support the "warning" whispers and offering guidance to avoid the problems.
A believer can be decieved yes but that is not the same as being possessed or having a demon inhabit them. we are likened to being the temple of God and so can darkness exist in his temple where his presence resides? I have never seen this in scripture and so I have no reason to believe it is possible

Also what you are referencing in Genises is before the viel was torn and before we became the temples of God Adam eating the fruit and inviting sin is also not the same as a demon coming into him so that doesn't really show any evidence it is possible either

Here @Blain There was a bible reference where this did happen.

KJV 2 Corinthians 12:7

{12:7} And
lest I should be exalted above measure through the
abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn
in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I
should be exalted above measure.

You are quite right that deception is not possession, but it can lead to possession. Fortunately, possession is not common but if you are aware of the records of possessions, they do occur to believers. That it is possible is even more apparent when you realize how many times demons take over churches.

For example, the Jezebel spirit.

Sorry I am not sure what you are getting at with this verse

He said a thorn in he's flesh was given him. A demon was given to him, so it would humble him.

You might be right. I do not know for sure from that one scripture. But I believe an evil spirit can attach it self to someone and cause them problems. All it would need do is reach out and hold onto the person.

Oh, I just thought about the Legion and the man who was possesed.
Christ had not been given yet however.

Well let me say this. Some people can see the demons and angels and holy ghost even. They can know a person's sin by looking at the demons they have, and if they are fighting the sin or something else. They can know if a person has the holy spirit, because they can see.

For if it were possible the very elect might get fooled Matt 24 yet they will not. Might begin to, yet Father still speaks and is not silent in his children to see and still remain harmless to the evil all around them here in this World still
Those that have thier father as the devil. as Jesus said that to the Pharisees, they are not fair you see
