I believe what I learned about this some time ago and still do to a point. I looked into it more with your post and found bible-translators werenot consistent in their translation of the Hebrew words they used for the words in question. The words in question – “charges”, “commandments”, “decrees”, “judgments”, “law”, “ordinances”, “precepts” and “statutes”, and the corresponding words in the Hebrew as far as I have looked up so far.
Charges, ordinances = mishmereth.
mishmereth = guarding, , watching , keeping, preserving , as done in the office of guard or priest
Commandments, Commandment, law = mitsvah, tsav, tsavah, peh, dabar, maamar, piqquwd and dath.
Mitzvah = the action that expresses the spiritual world of God in the physical world of man.
Tzav =Command deasl with many types of animal sacrifices and the duties of the priests
Tsavah = directives to guide or direct one on a journey.
Peh = mouth, speech, opening, portion
Dabar = word, speak, order, declare, warn, threaten, command, promise, sing
Maamar = speak, statement, "teaching, lesson
Decrees = qayam, taem, maamar, dabar, choq, cheqeq and dath.
judgments”, Law = mishpat
Law= chaqaq, choq, mishpat, dath and torah
Ordinances = chuqqah, choq, mishmereth, mishpat and mitsvah
Precepts = mitsvah, piqquwd and tsav.
Statutes = choq and chuqqah
Testimony, witness = eduwth, edah, tauwdah and tora
I think to know in a deeper way what is being talked about in scripture you need to get a Hebrew dictionary and a strongs concordance and go to work.

Ceremonial laws were all those temporary regulations which pre-figured the gospel.
Sacrificial regulations - pre-figured the remedy for sin; i.e., blood poured out
Food and defilement regulations - pre-figured the nature of sin; i.e., spiritual defilement
Purification regulations - pre-figured the meaning of holiness; set apart--from sin, and to God
The sacrifices, food, defilement and purification laws were the temporary ceremonial laws.

There were no food laws during the time of Noah, and not until Leviticus.
Yes, clean and unclean were for sacrifices only until Leviticus.
