Well, let me tell you from my life, I have a bothersome stepdad....

Anytime you break a major commandement of God's like, divorce, make a child, with childlike faith, who has God's covering and annointing over them, live in a home with two adults who are sinful, and disobeying God, then it is going to be problems forever, you broke a huge commandment, and God knows.

But you want it, so sort it out.

And hope people in the world, have enough compassion, mercy, and understanding built in them to give you grace.

Because my mother and her slutish sexual desires brought a strange man in this house, not my father, I have suffered because of her sin. Their sin, their lack of knowing God, and being strong, and standing for a godly a home. So, they made an innocent child, sin, and do bad things, because of their behavior, God knew when I was child, and protected me some in other ways, but now he is protecting me even more, because I am able to speak up about it.

There are already too many things in this world to fight, so many lifestyles, and wrong choices, gay lifestyles, oppression, abuse, stealing, porn, and then people expect a little kid to be perfect, and not fall/succomb to the sins of their parents, when they have no way of escape.

So, I would not recommend having a stepparent, I hate it, have always, God put that in me, though he is a good man, good to my mother, but God also put in me, knowledge of their sin, and wrongdoing, and gave me hatred, irritation, and my mother chose him over taking care of me, now as an adult I suffer and get made fun of, and all because of the weaknesses, idiotness, frailities, sins, wrong choices, like putting sex first, alcohol first, cigarettes first, over even caring for things like my safety at school and my healthcare as a child. So, what no one others in the world want ot hate me and say I don't deserve t live because of who they are, of which I had no choice, but now as adults we have choice, but it gets really hard, because adults want to drink, smoke, do stupid stuff, that has no impact on eternity and a lifetime.

All they ever care about and to this day talk about are sexual position, blowjobs, curse words, what child wants to be judged as a child, or even as an adult because of what they could not run away from as a child, and we are human. How do we learn human language, we learn by what and who we are around. And then because of it, just like the level of our education, only get certain opporutnities in this world.

so, instead of letting each one work with what he has, they like to commite genocide, and kill off others.

I can't handle it anymore, just because someone had a strong family, now they want to make fun of everyone else. Well, then why don't you be stong for those of us, who are weak, or less able, and help us get somewhere, then all the world will be a better place? Smart right, but who in my town is smart? No one.

Even the church is filled with murderers, and condemners, is that Christ, NO.

Greed for different things, and yet we will not help one another.

I got to get to another area of the US, it is not like this everywhere. Lord help my fellow christian chatter, and me to deal with arrogance in the world, and judgemental humans who ruin perfectly good lives, for the sake of their own, and cause sickness and disease, and heartache, that was never meant to be at their hands.

Pray, pray for church leaders, or just don't pray, and be smart and get out and live your own life, and take along with you those who truly will and are able to do it with you, and defend and protect.

Before someone else gets taken advantage of, please be smart about decisions, before rape, sexual assualt, physical violence, verbal abuse, sexual molestation, wrongful criticism, any of these things happen, please do something to make wise choices.

Several of the church attenders (lets say church pretenders) because they are not true believers.

Have made a mess of my life, for causing me to doubt my faith, make me go crazy, and in turn ruin my life, for the sake of their own belief, thinking I am their daughter, their own, their possession, and thus disobeying God, yet judging me as the problem, and then flaunting their money, their beauty, their health, their strength, like other of God's creations, which is what we all are, don't mean anything.

Is not the most basic thing in this world, healthcare, then why do people suffer, like me, because they cannot get money, and doctors don't really care about saving lives.

too many rules, have driven my mind insane, meanwhile others laugh it off, it makes no sense.

the rich spend their money on nothing, while others suffer. for real, so really stepparenting is no joke, you will impact the life of a child forever.

Well... i'll say i disagree. Yes, there are times when that situation works out poorly. No doubt. But to imply that it can never work is a skewed belief. I'm the only child between my parents, but my mother was married before she met my dad. She had 3 children from that marriage. My mom was a struggling single mother, having problems maintaining control over her 3 young children. They were wild. She & my dad met & married, & since the kids dad was out of the picture my dad stepped in as their father. She gave him authority to discipline just as a normal father would. He had those kids in shape within weeks. Not through abuse, but genuine disciple.
Jump ahead, now those kids are all grown adults. My dad loves the 3 of them as his own. My mom died 13 years ago & he still stays in contact with them regularly. Over the years he has helped them financially. Listened to their worries. Prayed for them. They don't even refer to him as their stepfather. They just call him dad. Even when i was being raised with them there was no distinction made between us. We weren't raised as step bro/sis, but as bro/sis. So the only parent they have left is their 'step' father & they have no complaints. They love him, he loves them. So take heart, BeauandJill, it is possible.
