People need to be told to stop being insensitive jerks! I was told off for telling someone off for being heartless because they are just "blunt and honest". That is a load of garbage! I am a blunt and honest as people who read my posts likely know, BUT you will also note that sometimes I tell the truth but soften the message. Men need to take 1 Peter 3:7 to heart " Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." This may have been directed at husbands, but all men need to consider this when dealing with women in general. Think about it, these women are daughters of God, do you think God likes how you treat them? or would he like to see a little empathy from you? If a woman is upset or hurting hitting her with the Bible DOES NOT HELP!

Im familiar with the forum you're speaking about. How did you recieve that post as "telling you off?"
He seemed to just respectfully respond to your feelings at that time.......How come your so heated?

I'm also familiar with the post. I didn't see the comment as necessarily 'respectful' at all, but I do understand CanadaNZs response. Sometimes people dont think about what 'other people' might feel. Making blanket statements when you have NO IDEA what the people reading your comments have been through, is very unwise.
 
I went back and read through that post....I Respectfully take back my last post here. I see why your heated. Makes sense now.
 
I havent been lately in the forums but i have to completely agree with you iraasuup.... if the shoe is comfortable, buy it in every colour..:p
 
I wouldn't worry about it, CanadaNZ. Anyone with some sense can understand why you posted what you did. That person who scolded you for pointing out what was obviously an insensitive post is just someone who lacks basic social skills (or a troll, one or the other).People like him do not understand the basic concept of sensitivity and tact.
 
Agree totally with you, CanadaNZ - but am equally ignorant of the specific item you mention (hope that makes sense).
