No man is good but GOD alone.
No man is kind but GOD alone.
No man is merciful but GOD alone.
No man is love but GOD alone.
No man is righteous but GOD alone.
No man is faithful but GOD alone.
In the goodness of GOD, we are good.
In the kindness of GOD, we are kind.
In the mercy of GOD, we are merciful.
In the Love of GOD, we love.
In the Righteousness of GOD, we are righteous. That is why we are the righteousness of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.
In the Faithfulness of GOD, we are faithful.
If you know and understand these, you will never give glory to yourself or to anybody. You will never glorify yourself or anybody and you will stop saying things like, “I’m proud of myself or I’m proud of my daughter or son or brother or sister or whosoever.” Saying this is wrong and any wrong doing is a sin. You can’t do anything on your own. Your daughter or son or friend can’t do anything on their own. Their strengths or knowledge or wisdom or success comes from GOD alone. We are what we are by the Grace of GOD alone. As Christians we know, we live by grace not by works. Remember, GOD does not give HIS Glory to anybody.
When you know and understand these, my dear, you will be proud of GOD and boast of HIM alone. When you move around and you see people achieving and doing great things, you will be thanking GOD and glorifying HIM for doing it for them. And you will no longer speak like those who are still in the world who says, “They are proud of themselves or they are proud of their sons or daughters or friends etc.” You will not speak like them but you will speak like one whom JESUS has taken out of the world. You will start speaking like this, “I’m proud of GOD for what HE has done in my life, in the life of my son or daughter and in the lives of others. I’m proud of what GOD is doing in the life of my son or daughter or friend or whosoever.”
Even though you live in the world, you are not part of the world. So Stop speaking like the world and speak scripture.
My dear, be proud of GOD and boast of HIM alone all the time. Give HIM alone all the glory. Do not follow the crowd or anybody but follow JESUS alone, and JESUS and HIS Word in the Bible are One. The Word of GOD says, “Let no one boast of men (1Cor 3:21). Let him who boasts, boast of the LORD (2Cor 10:17).” Again it is written, “I tell you, on the day of judgment men will render account for every careless word they utter; for by your words you will be justified, and by words you will be condemned.”
Finally, it is written, “I have been crucified with CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST who lives in me; and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the SON of GOD, who loved and gave HIMSELF for me (Gal 2:20).” You can now see clearly that as a Christian, it is CHRIST JESUS who is doing all things for you. So stop speaking like the world and be proud of GOD and give HIM all the glory in every situation of your life and that of others.
HOLY FATHER, my GOD, my CREATOR; I thank You LORD for You are always there to show us the right way to do all things in JESUS’ Name.
