Siberian...although Melita said it best...God's got this (love that response) definetely keep pursuing that field if that is where you want to be. Sending a Thank You email to hiring manager for consideration and saying hope your chosen candidate is a great fit yadda yadd leaves a strong impression and if another position opens it leaves a lasting impression for future consideration.

Coworkers talking in Chinese, then suddenly break into English:

Coworker 1: He has no kids? Good! See my hair here?
Me: No. :p
Coworker 1: *laughs* Exactly! There's no free lunch. Kids are expensive.
Coworker 2: *laughs* That's right! "I want candy, daddy." *laughs again*
Me: LOL. Promise you won't say that again.

And @ melita and chickwithsticks: For sure! Not worried about it, just disappointed by the outcome. There are plenty of other opportunities. :)

God probably has something up his sleeve for you. (Hey, He got me to Scotland :D )
 
So I had this guy on the phone today, from the minute he started talking I just knew that he at some point was gonna lose it and pitch a hissy, yes, indeed he did, and then he said to me...clearly you are too stupid to get anything...followed by a not very nice word starting with b...lol...well...cant win em all...

lol so i really don't have any work for this afternoon except checking off patients and taking their payment.

ah wait. i need to get monday charts ready.

my mind already clocked out.

Thanks. :) The pay would have been a step up, and the work would have been something new (I love to learn), but you're right; God has some wondrous sleeves. ;)

you know... I suggest we start public shaming of customers. We should have every conversation recorded and when someone acts like that it should be put online for all to hear :p

thanks! i don't think it's wrong to miss the flower. lol i actually like the "flower in my hair" look. i should probably invest in some hair accessories? hehe
 
There's this guy I have been taking to work for... well... since January. He has been talking about he's gonna get a driver's license since May. So yesterday on the way to work I told him he needs a license by September 10th. I figure if I don't set a date I'll be two years down the road and still taking him to work.

Nothing wrong with it when I work 9:30am to 4:30pm and he works 11am to 5pm - I pick him up on my way, use half an hour in the afternoon to catch up on the forum and drop him off on my way home. But since January I've been making separate trips to-from work when his work hours were different from mine. Nothing against the guy himself, but it gets old.
