-2 degrees Celsius out today! That's like 28 degrees warmer than last week! Frappacino time!

I'm up town running errands and I have on no makeup at all. If I'm honest ... I do feel pretty self conscious. I don't really like this at all... oh well it is what it is.. lol

My favorite hot cocoa mix ever. It lasted a good month, nearly two. Sadly, I haven't bee able to get any more, since the nearest place that has it is an hour away. :( But this stuff with a cinnamon stick in it?? Awesome.

Aw, the pic didn't work...

There. That should work.

I really wish that I looked intimidating, or was unable to get physically hurt, or have the sitting-in-a-car-self-defense-skills in order to let me pick up people who are just walking in this freezing cold here and offer them rides to wherever it is they need to be. Sometimes they are carrying groceries. I just wish I could help them, and I don't mean to think that every person walking means they'd hurt me, but I gotta be safe (and I read the news too much).

Bleh. I dislike when I want to help but can't, really...

If you like chocolate and cinnamon, try Mexican chocolate. If you prefer a vanilla, try French. If you like chocolate and citrus, try Belgium.

I wish I could teach y'all how to make truffles and candies for Christmas! It's pretty easy. :D

You look just fine without makeup! Don't you worry.

One of the good things my ex taught me was how to punch without hurting myself. Now, I still hit like a girl, but I'm not afraid to hit someone if I need to. Most of the issues women have with defending themselves is they've been taught to "be ladies" and to "not get in trouble". If you're in a position where you need to fight, fight dirty.

My ex did MMA, so he knew a bunch of stuff like body weak spots, etc. I had to get over when we sparred, I was going to cause him pain. He held back with me because, well, he was a lot taller and stronger than I was, but I didn't hold back with him. It was kinda cool the first time I hit him and he recoiled in pain, and my hand and arm didn't hurt at all. :)

All of that to say, take a self defence class. You'll be a lot more confident in many ways, stronger too.

Course if you looked intimidating no one would want you to give them a ride.

I saw this on Facebook and it made me laugh. It's seriously like this here today and yesterday and the day before and probably the rest of winter. Kids didn't have school. My husband had the day off, we shoveled and I worked and tried not to crash into other cars.

*bows* I do my best Grace. Nothing but the best ,most silly thing's for such a woman. lolz

I'm proud of you for going out of your comfort zone to do that. It is different, isn't it, not wearing makeup out...it's like we believe people look at us and think "She'd look better with makeup on" even though most of them 1) don't care and 2) have never seen us with makeup on anyway.

Course if you looked intimidating no one would want you to give them a ride.

Yeah, I meant to put that...I need to look intimidating enough to have no one want to mess with me, but not so intimidating that they don't want a ride or feel uncomfortable the whole time. :P

I'm making two of my friends a set of "Open when you feel..." envelopes for Christmas.

For example, envelopes that say "Open when you feel alone" and "Open when you want a laugh" and "Open when you need to know your worth". Inside will be a note from me and scriptures.

It's taking longer than I though, though, to hand write everything. I guess I should have started earlier.
