So this temporary filling stuff is supposed to harden over the course of 2-3 hours (as it reacts with your saliva, apparently)...it's been an hour, and it STILL feels like a blob of silly putty...a wet, sloppy blob of silly putty.

Anyone else use this stuff?

What do you mean by written off? Like, it won't be covered by your insurance? Either way, I hope you get good news on your car. :)

oh if the damage of fixing cost more than the value of the car, the insurance company writes the car off (so they save $$). I only have to pay $200 deductible to have it fixed, but it's their call. It will be a close one tho. Repairs are 2100.00, according to the internet my car is worth 2900.00 but I have rust and I am sure there will be other things that will bring down the value. However, this past summer I've done repairs, and got a new battery that will increase the value. So I think it will be just under or over the repair cost. It's going to be close either way.

Yep might as well throw in the towel XD j/k. You're still a spring chicken. All the men at my age are either senile or 6 feet under. Pretty sure I'm going to be single for the rest of my life. But hey, that might only be a few more years. Here's lookin on the bright side!

I am a year older then you... see my life is over.. im not senile.. so i guess ill be 6ft down soon
 
My vote for most over-used headline: "[insert random celebrity here] breaks his/her silence!"

Unless we're talking about a mute or a monk with vow to not speak for a few decades, I don't care about someone "breaking their silence." Two days isn't "silence"; it's an acceptable amount of time for someone to check their messages.

Either that or your favorite TV show having a "shocking twist that you simply won't believe!!" I think a shocking twist would be a show NOT trying to force a "shocking twist" where it really doesn't fit.
