We went to the zoo today. It was hot at the zoo so we had shaved ice. I want to set the Spider Monkeys free. I also think it's a crime to keep birds penned up. It's a nice place and the birds get fed but if I was a bird I'd want to fly where ever I wanted.

Sigh... consider me on my last straw.

I have a friend on Facebook who is atheist. In fact, he is anti-theistic. Now, I've put up with him for a good long time because he's an old friend. As far as people on Facebook goes, he's one of the people I've known the longest. But dangit I am getting tired of his anti-theistic stuff. I can handle disagreeing with someone. I do it all the time. But I will not tolerate outright hate. Sure we may have some things in common (like Doctor Who) but if he is going to act like this, then I see no need to put up with it any further. He's proven himself to be the kind you can't reason with concerning this. His objection is an emotional, not logical one. His "reason" is the Zeitgeist movie, which is factually inaccurate in many places.
 
Also, please note that recent life experiences have left me more inclined to speak my mind and call people out for what they are.

Why? Because I would find out that no one actually will care? lol. I don't think it was a 'God telling me something' dream, it was a dream due to a conversation the night before about how violent the city is.

I've been having dreams lately that I'm being hunted, stalked, and messed with.

I always miss all the drama!!

....unless I am part of the drama, and am just oblivious to it.
 
Day 21

I should just leave everyone alone for a while. I'm tired of feeling like I don't belong anywhere in their lives.

The best policy is Honesty, yet I think to say it in honesty, asking God for those right words that draw others to know Christ personally. If one does not like something and they are honest about it how can the other get mad, unless the other is pushing their agenda. And I think we all have done this sometime somewhere, and am in hope not to push it, just have open honest conversations without the condemnation attitude that so easily shows through even if one says they love you

That is a very fine line, my needs do go out of this world, yet I am still in the world. So literally as you just posted we are to have no friends in this world.
Now thinking about this clearer, could this means no friendships above God?

The enemy will and does its best to create fear anyway it can
Fear was the corruptor that kept man from knowing God personally and is used that fear is the beginning of wisdom to know God, now when one fast forwards to the Christ and sees the Love God has poured out what happens to fear then.
perfect love casts out all fear, and takes hold of the personal relationship where it is God that cares and has accepted you in him. So knowing this it does not matter at least to me whether others care or not, since I know I am accepted in God, hope for you to see the same Eph. 1:1-13 says it all in a nutshell

Ask God to decipher it for you, God lives in you and will not forsake you, I know it appears as to fear, yet God might be saying without fear be aware of your surroundings to stop any harm that could come your way, being in an evil world
Don't leave you vulnerable, listen to your new heart that God put in you the day you first believed

But you do belong in and with God who has

If you are accepted by God, why would you, I or anyone else need anyone else?
And when not in need somehow friendships develop. I can't explain it, but in you knowing God just love you, which God does, then you might not have the need for others to accept you right?

I wonder why women are so much nastier in the bathroom than men. I mean really.

I wonder why I can't fully trust God when I trust Him to take me to heaven. Why can't I trust Him with everyday life
 
I may or may not be on the path to getting confirmed in the Lutheran church. Granted, I'm about ten years older than the average person going through it, but whatever.
