i'm quite convinced that hellfire cannot be compared to pepperspray, thank God He was there for those police officials to help you or whoever it was.

mom's getting CAT scan today and seeing if cancer still there, she's been through cancer 5 times in the past 22 years and God's got her through every time. Praise Him ! This time is the most severe, she's been given a 25% chance to live for more than six months. She's had one chemo treatment this time and they are seeing if it's doing any good. The scan's today, the resultes won't be known for a few days. Please keep my mom in your prayers. God bless you all, let your prayers all be known to Him, He is there, He will heal, pray for His will done and for His glory shown through whatever the situation is, all glory to God. Jesus, be glorified, be glorified, through this all I pray, amen. When you guys put requests on here, I am always praying for you, sickness, surgery, self stupid doing thinking, whatever, I'm lifting my prayers to HIM for you . The Lord leads :)

This cracked me up. I'm pitying the poor guy that passes by your house and sees you in the front yard with all these paint cans all over and multi color rocks and he asks "can you give me directions to Boulder?" and you say "boulder?" and all he hears is the click clacking of little balls in paint cans.........

Tip: Don't attempt suicide. I know it's probably easier said than done, too. BUT, as hard as this may be for some people to believe...everyone's life is worth living. I think it's sad that people come to that point where they don't think so. I've thought that way before too, though. Where I thought nothing's worth it. Never attempted because I thought and still do think that it's a bad idea all around.

Life, ALL life, EVERYONE'S lives are important to God.

The un-met person was hanging out in my dreams again last night. I can't even remember the dream, for the most part, but today I feel kind of weird, like I can't shake the dream, like it was too realistic. It's not a bad kind of weird, really. More like I've just woken up from one reality into another, difficult to adjust to.

Coffee isn't doing a lot of good for me. Or else I'm just not drinking enough of it.

I wish I wasn't out of things to spray paint.
 
I've been listening to a few hypnosis apps before bed past few days, to help me fall asleep so I don't have to rely on Ativan. I think it worked the other night because I woke up in the morning and I didn't remember falling asleep which I normally do. I'm not sure what I believe about hypnosis. I've learned about it in my psych classes and depending on who you talk to, some people don't believe that its credible. Anywho, I'm gonna keep experimenting with it and see for myself.

P.S I rather not have some Christian reply to this post saying its the devils work lol.

Arwen: If you need a in- between option, melatonine is good. Though if the hypnosis thingy helps than yay :D
 
The past few weeks have been a blur. I've been so busy. I have 5 friends leaving for college (5!!) this week, so after this week it will likely calm way down. That makes me both happy and sad.

This morning my stomach raged war on me. Felt like it was imploding in on itself. Now my head hurts. Likely because of a very stressful day yesterday. But, I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and I'm getting better at catching when I'm getting in a funk and turning to God instead of wallowing.
 
This morning, I had in my possession 13 different journals, all completely filled with my own writing. The first one dated back to 1997, and the last page of the last one was dated January 4th, 2008. They were hidden away in a box in the back of my closet, and I pulled them out and started skimming through them.

It was quite possibly the single most depressing thing I have ever, ever done. Seriously. Ever.

Not only was it depressing, but it also felt like I was intruding on someone else's privacy, somebody who had all of the same experiences that I had. There were happy memories squeezed in between broken hearted ramblings and frustrated adolescent ravings. There were names that have long been forgotten scribbled excitedly onto the lined pages, descriptions of places and things and days and evenings and car rides and dances and ski trips and hot summers and bitterly cold winters.

But whoever wrote about all of those things, whoever it was that poured their heart and soul out in so many different colors of ink, I don't recognize her.

So I stacked all of the journals together carefully, and took them to the back of my stupidly huge yard where we have a metal barrel for burning paper trash, tipped the stack out of my arms and into the barrel, and lit a match.

Well, three matches; the first two went out because I was so startled that they'd actually lit that I dropped them. I'm sort of...special? Fabulous?...that way.

On a completely unrelated note, there's a woodpecker in the tree right next to my window, and I'm seriously considering relocating him...to birdy heaven.
 
This morning, at 4 a.m. I woke up with a severely sore throat. I got up a little before 7 and have been doing nearly everything I can to get rid of this sore throat. It's because I have a sinus infection. And just yesterday I was all fine and dandy. Oh well...such is life. I guess I go to bed early, rise up even earlier, and fight this junk.
 
I finished summer semester this past Friday; Fall semester began yesterday (Monday). Will it ever end?:confused:
