Last night....was not a good night for sleeping. I got woke up at 2:40 to the sound of a bug flying in my room. So I slept downstairs on the couch instead...didn't sleep all that great. So now I'm having a big cup of coffee to help. Gotta work hard today.

Jilly - when I first went in the badland (we call it the badlands) ............I saw this

later on I found myself in the middle of the lair; a ghastly dark place full of flies and venom. Suddenly, a macabre luminescence fell on The Beast - a half man and half....man, I guess, I couldn't see his other half. He said his name was 'I am Many' and he told me that you, Jilly and Jullianna were mine if I answered his question correctly.
"what's your question" I asked....

His lips shaped in a frown then cracked like glass and he began to laugh this horrible shrieking howl and then slapped his mean knee as he cackled "what's your question, he asks" and howled some more. He regained himself quickly and his demeanor grew dark once more as he asked....

What is sin?

One time when Ugly & I went over to the Bible discussion forum we posted our views on "Christian Heavy Metal music"...and well...this is pretty much how it turned out.

*note...Ugly is the younger , much handsomer (not a real word) one. Me...old man typey bloke.*

The bright spot, if any, is that this day can only get better from here....
 
My thoughts are as follows:

Is anything real or just figments of my imagination, how would I know?

Is it weird that I've never seen the inside of a class room

Will George RR Martin publish his next book before I go to and finish college

And how long before Disney owns the world

Haven't been on CC since...last Thursday? Friday? Not sure, but it feels like longer. I went out of town to visit some friends, one of whom had just had twin girls. They are 3 weeks old, and they were so cute and snuggly. I did text my mom later and told her I saluted her for having a toddler AND twin infants (my brother, my sister and I). She responded, "That's how I got all my grey hair." :)

Good things happening in my life. I might possibly be moved up to full time at work (though it's bittersweet because I'd be taking the position of another coworker who might be leaving, and I enjoy working with her), my brother is visiting this weekend, and I just feel at peace at where I am. My mom always asks me if, after I visit my friends in the other state, I feel like moving there around them, and the two or three times I've been this year, I haven't felt that way. I don't feel a tugging to go anywhere in particular, despite the fact that I get antsy here sometimes. I don't know, I just feel like I'm in a good spot right now of growth and healing and friendships. :)

well maybe not exactly exactly. Maybe not at all. Anyway, I wanted to introduce you to the girls. They're all RRI) rhode island reds) and they push out about 5 eggs a week when they're happy and about 2 to 3 eggs a week when they're feeling like there's slim pickins' when it comes to finding Christian roosters. Here's a picture of a few of em....

And here's their slim picking. Actually this is a Braham rooster and the old boy is probably 7 years old. I could barely get him to smile. I even told him the one about which part of the chicken goes over the fence last (that one always cracks him up - they're so stupid)....

Ken- I'm having trouble deciding if the inside of your mind is scary, or wonderful :p Either way, your chicken post made me snort coffee out my nose. So, thanks for that.
 
Haha, the chicken post made me laugh as well :). At first I was going to tell everyone that a hen doesn't need the rooster to lay eggs at all, but then I got the joke XD.

And Green, I was the one who said it originally, not Arwen :).

KayEM, milady, I could be wrong but I think I saw where the beloved USA saved Mexico's World Cup hopes, well, for another game ,anway. The U.S. scored in the last minute against Panama and it preserved Mexico's chances :)

So, if you prayed after Costa Rica beat Mexico for a miracle to happen and Mexico to not be DQ'd from World Cup qualification....

You just never know whom God answers a prayer for :) Maybe, no, I bet there is no 'maybe' about it, we definitely find out a lot of neat things about our lives when we get to heaven, including finding out about all those answered prayers :)
