Update on the situation that caused me so much heartache a few days ago:
This weekend, there has been healing and reconciliation in ways that far exceeded my expectations. God has a way of blowing my mind.
Not saying things are perfect, but God has given me joy and tremendous hope for the future.
One step at a time, following my Lord ^_^
(I know I've said this about 2848194728 times, but thank you for the prayers. This update was for those who asked me for one, and also just to give all the glory to our God!)

I've got to admit that I'm sad. Disappointed, even. It's not like I was banking on it or anything. But it was an interesting chance, something to ponder and wonder about. But maybe it's one of those childish things I need to put away. God isn't a respecter of persons, but he certainly doesn't give or allow everyone the same things.
Have you considered an old honda or toyota instead? If I remember correctly, hyundais from that time period weren't very well made (but I could be wrong) and I know that old hondas and toyotas from like 2002 and before were about the most reliable and driver-friendly cars ever made.
At first they came for the scallops, but I did not speak out because I was not a scallop. Next they came for the oysters, but I did not speak out because I was not an oyster. Then they came for my people, and now I am alone.
If he had spoken out he would've been the first one in the pot.

I once spoke out for things that I felt really needed to be said on this site and it got me banned. I've since been unbanned because I accepted that fact that the people on this site have a right to their opinions and if I want to stay here I have to respect their right and not go around trying to prove my point.

Note, I'm not saying that you might get banned like I did...
I'm just saying that if you want to have a positive experience here you will have to weigh the possible consequences of speaking out against the benefits of not speaking out. Of course there sometimes comes a time when you must speak out, but to speak out in order to get everyone's attention is taking the risk of having a negative experience.

Work in a few minutes. I shall brace my heart for the Downton Abbey deets from my co-worker. I only pray that in his excited state he doesn't run us off the icy roads...they had said 40 degrees & rain today,but everything is ice. Blech.

Today is....meh. I have schooling and dishes from yesterday to do. Nothing fun to do besides read a book. I hate being cooped up like this.

seriously, rip that page off the pad and take a look at the freshness, joy and hope of a new day, a new year, new chances, and new mercies.
besides, i think it would be a real shame for someone as strong and bright as you are to allow any faceless critic to persuade you into giving away your voice and the value you bring to this community. if i have learned anything in the last few days. you leaving would be a definite step in the WRONG direction.
