I don't typically like spiders, but I think that one's actually kind of cute. He looks like he's got his hands up on his face in excitement, waiting for someone to sing in the shower.

I'm going to tell myself that the next time there's a spider in the shower.

My wife doesn't like spiders, either...

This was during the winter but I threw my jacket on the floor one night coming home late and had to be back at work early. I got up and ready and grabbed my jacket on the way out. When I put it on I felt a sting like a wasp on my arm! I took off the jacket and shook it out and there was a big red spot on my arm and out fell a scorpion - one of those small black ones. It hurt like fire but I can only think I might have hurt him worse especially given the lesson in neatness he gave me since I am more diligent about throwing my jacket on objects higher than floor level keeping a clean floor surface.

Every once in a while, I need a break from people. All people. I kinda disappear, without telling anyone. I don't do it to be mean, but I guess it IS sort of a mean and selfish thing to do when there are people counting on me, either for commitments I've made or even just for friendship. I think maybe it's time for me to find a better way to go about taking time for myself, a way that doesn't leave the people I care about wondering if they did something wrong.

Also, peanut butter m&m's are both vile and wonderful all at once. How can this be?!

I know how you feel. I have a friend (much older than me) that borders on being clingy. I have to tell him a day in advance if I want a day for myself. He seems to really NEED to have someone around him constantly. Complete opposite of me, I can be alone for a week and be perfectly happy

I love the color. Seriously, that is a great color. I want a blue car when I buy one.
