So tired...I stayed up later than I should have to work on a laptop. New motherboard, new RAM, new SSD. I now have a much newer computer though for personal use. :cool: Now to load Windows 10 and test the waters...tomorrow.

But I make up my own lyrics if I don't like a line in a song. I do that all the time. :D

Hmm... reminds me of when Pomplamoose (look them up on youtube) did a cover of "Single Ladies." At the third verse the vocalist sang, "Please don't make me sing the next verse of this song / The lyrics are so bad / So we're going to skip ahead / To the single ladies part instead."
 
Lynx, back when Nirvana was on top of the charts, as a joke my son & I did a ridiculously twangy C&W version of "Heart Shaped Box" to my daughter's horror. I promised her we'd never do it again, it was that nauseating. ROFLMBO!!!!
 
So the wheel of time keeps turning and the "EASTER IS PAGAN!!!" threads come around again. And nobody in those threads ever stops to think, "Hey... maybe someone has already said this." It's like watching a movie that you have already seen fifty times. You know what arguments will be raised, what counter-arguments will be brought in, even the insults are predictably phrased and placed.

Kind of reminds me of the guy who played bass tuba in an orchestra, and every time someone saw him lugging that big thing up and down the stairs they all said the same thing. "I bet you wish you played the piccolo." And nobody ever stopped to think that everyone else always said that.

I could just stay out of that forum. But then I would miss out on the "Speak your mind" thread...
 
Even my dog is struggling with the DST hour loss. It's so dark in the morning. Usually she is sitting up in her crate, ready to go, by the time I am up and walk into the living room where her crate is. But this morning when I turned on the light, she was still curled up asleep and kind of looked at me like, "...What's happening?"
