Our church wrapped up our VBS this morning. There is just something about seeing 60 little kids singing at the front of the church that just does a person's heart good.
 
Life has been weird lately. I don't know how to explain but there has been some tension around me and it's something I've been praying about. I have a friend that can make it difficult to be her friend, I mean you have to watch everything you say to her because she can make something out of absolutely nothing. I've been keeping my distance. Home was peaceful today thanks to some friends prayers. The kids didn't argue a lot and my Husband helped me with a project.
 
Starting a new um...adventure?...today: actual timed, on-purpose workouts. Instead of just kinda winging it, like I've been doing. I dunno. We'll see. I'm pretty bad at organization and the like.

I miss cookies.

Ah that cake reminds me of my childhood birthdays. My mom would get us this big cake like that. It was very sweet, but so good! I love buttercream icing!

I got home last night around 10 pm ish. Skyped with gypsygirl, and I talked with her about some of the things that happened on the trip. Then...not too long after that I decided to crash.

Me too. Us girls need to have our beauty sleep. I mean, how else are we supposed to look gorgeous?:rolleyes: Just kidding we all need our beauty sleep
