Got a lot of stuff done with friend coming over. I sprang for a pizza and just got a bunch of chores done. We then went on separate errands, then came back to my place to have a plant re-potting party with margaritas. Then salad and some home made cream of asparagus soup.

This is a shelf at my entryway. It had a whole bunch of clutter and crap all over it...umm...and a bunch of old clothes wadded up by the unit at the base of the stairs. Anyway, most of the clothes went to charity, it's de-cluttered, and I'm going to go to IKEA tomorrow to get a couple more of those basket insert thingies that go in the cubbies. Also de-cluttered coffee table and kitchen table and worked on my room a bit. Repotted a century plant, three aloes, a jade, and a fern. Got a little bit more to go. Perhaps tomorrow. I am beat!

one of my girlfriends can't have dairy, and she likes it. I have tried it and it's not bad really.

I just have this weird sorta mental block around margarine, so as long as I can eat butter... I will.
 
I just came back from the H.E.B. grocery store and had a great ol' time. The piped in music tonight was 70's soul and I just could not help myself in the fresh fruit aisle... I just had to dance! Yowza! I'll bet whoever's manning the security camera is having a good laugh on me tonight. LOL!! No matter, I had me an awesome time boogying down the line! Woop woop! \:o/

but anyway I got to share it with my friends, who are mostly not Christian and it was really nice to see how positively they received it :)

So I feel very encouraged and very inclined to pursue doing this ... I am not a good musician - that's a given but it is a hobby I enjoy and hopefully it blesses everyone. I may redo that one later..

September 2nd is almost here. It feels a little surreal. I've never traveled solo.

After a discussion with someone very dear to me, being in a place where there are almost no Christians - I realize that I want all my songs to be for God and for Him to be the one to approve of anything I do...

I know I am not a great singer or any good at music, but every little bit of me is His. There's so much of meaning and impact in singing a song that means a lot to you - that moves and puts into words the very essence of who you are.

So if I could share it in anyway with the people around me, I would be so blessed.

This however was just for fun... :\
 
I hate it when people post stuff on facebook like "I wonder how many of my FB friends would be there if .... so-and so...."
I soooooo want to reply "nonem because people brag on facebook and don't live it irl"
