One of the problems with ads is that since a website's sponsors are contributing financially to a website - they sometimes have a say in certain rules and how certain things are handled. On the site I'm gone from, I was allowed to be true to myself and my beliefs in regards to certain things - that is - until a few years ago the website linked the American Cancer Society. That is when a lot of problems began for me. That isn't the whole of it, but it is, in my determination, a big part of it.

The American Cancer Society is a front group for a bunch of corporations, including big pharma companies. This is not some nutty conspiracy theory - here is some evidence from their own website:

I made myself a cheeseburger for breakfast. And now I'm going back to sleep because it's too early to not be asleep. And I just need a break. Or three.

Brotherhood is AWESOME!!!!!

I'm playing Unity right now... I could not play Rogue... I bought it... but could not play it... :( It was just too much for me... my heart could not handle the stress...
