So I'm watching Say Yes to the Dress with my mom and some of these women are really going into debt for their wedding gowns! There was one girl that wanted to spend $20,000 and she ended up with a $50,000 one. I mean if you can afford it then go right ahead if that's what you want, but she was obviously worried about the price. But she just 'had to have' that dress because it was one of a kind. Crazy huh? LOL

I really like Steinbeck's writing style. He's very well rounded; descriptive, but not wordy. Philosophical, but not bombastic. Really, I'm enjoying his cadence a lot.

Also: mistakes happen, and you should give yourself as much grace as you give others. People, if you make a mistake or, at least, are suspect to being mistaken, take an opportunity to assess, to trace your steps. Be open minded in this arena. It's a terrible misstep to make your fault out as synergistic when you're the sole proprietor of the offense.
