We just finished watching all of HP again over the holiday break, so he's fresh in my mind. He was my favorite character too. I also loved him as Colonel Brandon in Sense & Sensibility.

Who was Alan Rickman, who was Snape, what was the H P series, what's a Cumbercollective, who was Colonel Brandon, and does this all tie in to the fact that I have no Sense or Sensibility?

So, was he a priest or something? Or is this photo of him from a movie? David Bowie I heard of....I honestly have no idea who this guy is. And I actually do have a tv!
He was an actor who co-starred in all of the Harry Potter movies, as well as several other great movies like Die Hard, Sense and Sensibility, and Robin Hood. He had a very distinctive voice and way of speaking that made him stand out.

Well thank you so much, Grace! I haven't seen the HarryPotter movies, I think I did see Diehard years ago, and am unfamiliar with Sense + sense movies. I know robin hood, but probably not that one. I'm sorry, but I still have sympathy for the fans and friends of this man, he seems well loved. I pray his family is finding God's grace during this time, may Jesus and the truth of His resurrection be their comfort. Thanks, GLR.
