Today I'm imaging all the changes I would make to this house if we owned it. It's not the first time I've wasted a morning this way, but...this time miiiiight not be a complete waste, either.

My mother-in-law has been trying to talk her mom (the owner of this house) into selling it to us. There are a ton of reasons why it would make sense- as long as she owns it, she needs someone to care for it. She can't do it. She doesn't Want to do it. She wants to retire (she's in her mid-seventies) but can't, and selling us this house would allow her to. She wants this house to stay in the family, since it was built by her father.

I really think she's seriously considering it. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I can't help feeling like this might actually work out.

Just now I was thinking how a cow can not only provide food and drink and cheese and yogurt but it can also provide a great pair of leather boots...belts ..calfskin gloves...handbags....e.t.c

the more i prepare it, the more excited i get.

I"m just now settling down for the evening, and I"m so tired...On my way home from work 3 hours ago, some lady hit my car while it was stopped at a light...lovely. She screams "i'm sorry, I'm sorry, it was my fault," yet takes a million pics of my car...by the time I got home, I had to make dinner...then I headed out to the store to buy something...I wish I had someone here to rub my feet or my back...I'm tired, achy, and so exhausted...but thank God I"m alive and im more than okay...I just really could use a foot rub..and maybe an ice cream cone with vanilla bean ice cream on top..
