They deserve our appreciation, people use them and abuse them race tracks, like racing cars, and the thing that I don't understand, is why don't they treat them, it's easier to pull a trigger, how cruel, I don't think other states treat horses like this here. They used to be family and now also, but using them for race tracks, then back in the stall.This thread is fantastic beyond words.You just gotta love horses!
Anywho, I don't own any horses myself, but I have been riding for 4 years now.

I know they must eat much hay. My rabbit ate a whole bale but it took a year. The thing was so heavy couldn't lift it, how much hay does a horse eat in a day or week, anyone? Ty.
During "rainy" season (...)
6 months in Venezuela, you would save a lot but, they DO need hey and those (concentrated) things, because they always chew things, like cows.
