Hi all, only a useless christian who is getting over whining. I need people to pray that I have a better prayer life with continual stability and results from it as my prayer are the same nearly every day and i do not see why to pray anything else as I cover all bases with a simple prayer. But nothing changes in my life. I am a worse person after becoming a christian. Probably because there is nothing in a christian life (like mine) to fill the gap of hours of gaming/movies/drinking/goingout/having fun/ ciggarettes and more.

It seems a bit of a rip-off except for when I die. I get nothing now and something at death is what it looks like. But i also want to get over my desire to want more than this "christian contented nothingness". So I need prayer for these things as I am not much use as a person. My prayers do not seem to get answered. I do not know where, what, why, what with, etc, I am going or doing or what for. My life seems better to end rather than drag it out doing notihing and having nothing. Why wait doing nothing. No-one seems to be being saved and i'm no great evangelist or youtuber or other with any support from God that I see, hear, feel or experience except the odd vision warning to go back to church or whatever. No clue what this "weak christianity" is for in my life. It is such a dissapointment. I feel robbed some days, only to be rewarded in death with something no one knows what. Any prayer appreciated as I am obviously not a happy clappy type who is blessed with positive thinking. Just a lifelong loser.

(1) What do you do for a living? How can you do it differently to honor God?
(2) Do you think that being a Christian means that you have to give up all those activities? Don't you know that you can do some of them to honor God, who is not a killjoy? (Others should be given up, because they definitely don't honor God.)
(3) Go to church regularly, pray for God's direction, read the Bible, and get involved with a church and a church group that can fill up that space in your life that seems empty.
(4) Suicide is NEVER the answer, because it's murder, and God said not to do it.
(5) You are on my daily prayer list now. Let me know how you're doing on this thread and if you have any more questions and prayer requests.

Dave44! Your life as you live it now is what is destroying you. Your choices now show the Father that you don't KNOW HIM OR LOVE HIM. NEITHER DO YOU LOVE JESUS! You love yourself. So sad! You are better than this! Jesus lived a life on earth to show you an example! You are called to "walk as Jesus walked". Is your life an example of of this?

We are given this life as a test! We are tested to see if we can love God like Jesus did!! Now is the time for you to change your heart and look for ways to show love to others, give of yourself and then thank God for His long suffering as you make choices to turn your life around! HE WILL HELP YOU!!! YOU HAVE TO ASK HIM TO DO THIS! AND HE WILL.

Father please please please help Dave to stop the pour choices and then run to YOU in prayer. Sincere prayer! To listen to you and make commitments to you in all he does. Father he needs YOU so desperately! The goal is not to be a "happy-clappy" christian! But to be in love with our Heavenly Father and His son Jesus. Touch Dave now!

Pray this prayer my brother, and it's OK to feel discouraged, the key is to NEVER give up.

Heavenly Father,
I come to You feeling lost, frustrated, and empty. I don’t understand where I’m going or what I’m doing, and I feel like my prayers go unheard. But I know You are faithful even when I can’t see it. Please fill the void in my life with Your peace and joy, and help me to trust You even when things don’t seem to change. Show me purpose and give me the strength to keep going. Help me to experience Your presence in a new way and guide me to where You want me to be.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you, I adjusted it very slightly and put it into ttsfree.com for an affirmation in audio for later use also. I may gather a few long term useful prayers / affirmations for such issues. God bless in Jesus name, Amen. It is strange how I also capitalise, Amen.

It is true, I find it hard to love God / Jesus / Holy Ghost. But doesn't everyone find it difficult to love a hidden invisible God, and God-Man, and Spirit who we have never seen or heard only in a book. Love as Jesus said, is dying for your friends. I have no friends, only people who are nice at church. We do not know each other. My family are mostly not christian. And yes, I probably "love" myself as you put it, but I also hate myself. Love in your point is to do with "I want for myself". That is what you implied as me loving myself. Being fleshly I assume. But your argument is illogical. Because if I did not love myself I would have not need for God or desire. I would simply end this pointless life of suffering and loss. See my point. Praying for oneself and others is a form of selfishness. Any prayer is desire for a physical or spiritual greed of some sort. Something to gain, rather than be content with your lot, and never to pray. other religions say this also. Why do any of us pray except to save others or gain something in some way. Do we all pray only for the will of God to be done? It will always be done anyway. What can we do to stop it.

But thank you for the prayer. It is appreciated. I pray it works, in agreement I am, In Jesus name, Amen.

(1) I will be ending work season in a week or so. Not much I can do there.
(2)Yes, it does mean giving up sin. It is what we are called to do.
1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV) states, "Abstain from all appearance of evil."
Basically, abstain from sin. As much as able, for the Glory of God, as one of the church father's states our good deeds are for His Glory, but not salvation.
(3) I go to church, they are nice but silent and not engaging. It is a slightly more biblical church as far as I can tell (covering heads / silence etc). But also, not one speaker so they go on the circuit. It is a bit repetative but it is the only KJV church.
(4) I never said I would do it, but also, God never said not to do it as far as I have read. Even Saul tried to end his life on a sword or spear. [Note, I am not being combative, only pointful for clarity].
(5) I have added someones prayer to my audio for further help. It may work, who knows. Thanks, God bless in Jesus name, Amen.

Yes friend, loving God with all of our heart and soul and mind and strength, and your neighbor as your self, may seem like a difficult chore.
But there is something that must happen first before you can walk in that kind of love. You must let God love you. And God loves you the same way he wants to be loved, With all He's got. You can't give something you do not have. You can't live a life you do not possess.
Ask Father to give you His Holy Spirit, if you believe you already possess this Spirit, ask for the Spirit in abundance. And never forget, All who come to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
You may have heard that there is no crying in baseball, well there's no whining in Christ. Give thanks for the life you have been given, or diligently seek that life if you have not yet received it. Christ is your life. I think it was Spurgeon who so correctly stated, that the dissatisfaction in our lives comes from lust, fulfilled or denied. We either don't have all we desire in the flesh, or we achieved our desires and found them empty. Ditch your empty desires. Desire Christ, and be set free.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, amen.
Sovereign Lord, great God, condenscend from the height of Your glory and visit Your servant Dave, who suffers from despondency. Inspire him to be faithful servant of You and grant Him joy of Your fatherly love and care. Encourage him to fight the good fight for the sake of Your love, his spiritual survival and ultimate salvation. Don't let him be the prey of the devil and his demons. Teach him to discern devil's evil schemes, intrusive thoughts and how to reject them by a humble prayer and invocation of Your holy name. Enlighten him with Your word. Save and keep him by Your grace. We thank You that he still has the chance and hope. In Jesus Christ's name, amen.

Although a late reply, I tend to have a feeling of futility. That weepy internal feeling where you may have a breakdown because nothing goes anywhere. Even after 10 years roughly of being christian. They say we often start out strong and slowly become cold as christians as we age as a general thing people mention. I think it is the creep of sin into our lives when we fail and then stop but are still failures. And even if we "clean ourselves up", it still goes nowhere and we are still addicted to wanting or want to die to be free but are not allowed. There is nothing I want in life anymore, not even heaven as I know not what I get. No person does. It is true God and all is true and Christ, but it all seems I am only a bystander blocked from training or action or "living", until death. I have no hope except to not think and meditate on not wanting. Not much joy until I forget to want something and let things happen however good or bad, and not care, and be content with much or nothing, with love i dont have, or misery i often do due to wanting more than nothing (obviously selfishly). But then again, there is no children or marriage in heaven so I dont have that to look forward to either.

I'm sorry to hear that. Let me see if I can help you break it down.. If i were able to grant you 3 wishes right now, what would you wish for.

A - number -1 [other than this all important wish /prayer] I want all my family and people I have known or met or seen or heard, to be saved and blessed in all good ways in Jesus name I ask God the Father these things, Amen.

1) To not be a downhearted christian failure with no zeal I once had for learning about God/Jesus/Holy Spirit, whilst also having progress in our church rather than nearly nothing in years (if it is in God's will), I need a rest in christ but it feels like panic and work to "get fruit or not feel christian".

2) To not be such a flaky weakling in regards to making decisions, faintness of blood, ickyness recoiling in general (but this is because i do not know what God wants in my decisions, I simply feel led to not do stuff and end up with nothing but failure of nothing etc). Some health and good cognitive function would be nice. The peaceful sort every day.

3) To get things sorted out like my room setup, book/s, action journal, leaflets, website, youtube content and channel, gym, parents house, and a job for at least 4 days hopefully not too burdensome to stop me doing everything else. If it is God's will for each of these etc. [ not really doing any of this due to funds and decision and downheartedness etc]

These seem to be what are the basics. Marriage is off the cards due to money and not being a decent christian male for any woman that is not even present. As well as the other things people ask for if they wish. I dont have any of it so what should I wish for other than the gospel to save family etc. I dont know what is best for me and others. 5 milion £ pounds per month or more every month and great health might help too.

I know I fleshed out the list too much for it to be 3 singles, but only the first is all important. My life does not really matter so difficult to choose the rest. What are yours?

I’m just telling you I felt like crap and wasn’t productive for like two weeks because my room was really messy… Then I spent all day yesterday cleaning my room And after I finish cleaning my room, I actually got some work done… I took a trash bag and threw away all this junk and paper and miscellaneous crap off the tables and filled up a large trash bag of junk.

As bad as all of that sounds, you might actually be in a very good place. In fact, I hope that you are because I can totally relate to everything that you said.

Earlier today, while assessing my own life, I wrote the following words. I am not a poet, so please excuse my plainness of speech.

Alone on this earth, and almost since birth.
There's nowhere to run, 'til your will is done.
The sum of my life? Contention and strife.
One thing that I know: this world hates you so.
While I still have breath, I'll serve unto death.

Everything that I ever desired in this life has either been withheld from me or taken away from me. And I am talking about good desires, like a female companion, a family, and things like that. Even if I gained such things, they would all be taken away from me at death some day anyway.

As God has systematically been stripping me of everything, I am left with the scary realization that I only exist on this earth to do his will. Biblically speaking, that is a good realization because Jesus said that we need to lose our lives to find them, but it is a very scary realization just the same because I had placed hope and some sort of fulfillment in the things I do not have.

I have to have faith and hope in God for something better in the world to come. That is the only thing that keeps me going, and the Bible does have a lot to say about what awaits believers on the other side of eternity.

I will say a prayer for you, and the same prayer for myself.

Just surrender everything. There is no other way, and you are almost there already.

Thanks for your point, but I think it is on my weekly to do list on the action journal. I try to do some basics. But I cannot afford to let my room become too messy due to it getting in my way. Thanks though. Logging off, its 23:14pm here.
