Struggles,

we all have them. I think, once we realize their not really struggles, it's just inside of our head where that struggle stays, then we will walk in more freedom.

Now, I wanna admit something, and you can gasp, and throw stones all you want.. I been struggling again, and I had a talk with Daniel from Revival or Riots, and he really reminded me of the righteousness of Christ, and not to live by how I feel, all that stuff.

I wanna say, to anyone struggling with something (which is everyone.)

Christ looks at your filthiness, and still says.. "I love you."

I think sometimes we lose sight of His righteousness and we try to rely on our own; when it's His righteousness that causes us to live righteous, it's His righteousness that makes us worth something. It's His love that makes it worthwhile.

No, I'm not gay, but I admit, sometimes it's a struggle, and it's not overwhelming like it use to be, but for some reason, it got really overwhelming tonight.

I wanna be open with the people of my ministry, and fellow Christians, and just everyone in general. So that is why I am writing this.

Before, I would beat myself up over just struggling, which this time I did.. but I was reminded of His love, and His patience for me. God understands our struggles, I mean Christ took them all at once on the Cross, and yet we act like He doesn't understand. Christ didn't die so He could open up the gates of Hell, He died so He could shut the gates of Hell.

Sin has no more power over us, sometimes we just think it does.

You are right, we do all have struggles and I pray that God gives you the strength to resist any temptation that may come your way. I can tell that your heart is in the right and you have a good attitude. God is not as trigger happy as some people think, unless his heart is a gun and the bullet is his love :). This life is one long continuous battle, and we are constantly under attack by Satan and we just have to look at ourselves as being soldiers in Gods army. One thing I know from experience, is that God is very patient with his children and he knows our hearts (even how wicked our hearts can be) but he loves us anyway.

You seem to be looking to the right place for your strength. It is always encouraging to hear that those who are struggling are looking to God. Thanks for sharing and I pray that you will continue to seek Him through this struggle. :) God bless!
