I'm going through a massive crisis right now in my life. I lost a close friendship, and I'm experiencing terrible mental health issues. The only reason I'm alive and here right now, hanging on, is because of God and my family. He's my only lifeboat in this extremely stormy, chaotic ocean that I'm in. It feels like I'm lost at sea and He's gently guiding me to the shore, but it's a long way coming and I'm struggling really hard right now. Any prayers would be appreciated.

Someone we know lost her husband of 22 years. For 7 weeks she was in and out of mental hospital. We encouraged her to keep focused on Jesus and the hope that she has in Him. She's following that advice and coming out of her depression. We will pray for you of course. But godly counsel will help also.

I understand that feeling. I've been there more than once and even lost my immediate family. God working through my sister's and brothers in His family here are encouraging and literally helping better than I could ask for. I'm glad you reached out to us.
Hope I can be a blessing as others have blessed me.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4

"Careful" here think of full of care/ worries. It might be easy to plead/ supplicate to God. What may seem counterintuitive though is Thanksgiving. When we pour out our heart to our Father, we should remind ourselves to thank Him for His comfort, love, mercy and what we still have. I'm talking to myself here. Today I reflected on losing one of my best friends that was going to likely be a key in helping me fulfill a dream career. He died too. There are many trials and grief poured upon grief recently, but the Lord is merciful. I would much rather go through hardships with Him close by than to go through anything on my own. Right now, I need to read His Word and need the Holy Spirit to help me sleep. Perhaps that is true of you as well.

I will pray for you as other sisters and brothers will on the forum.

A hug from West Virginia

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, amen.

Lord, in our darkest moments we seek Your light.
Give us the strength to bear this heaviness. Remind us of Your love and Your nearness. Help us to see that You are always with us. Fill our hearts with Your peace and hope. Teach us to rest in the knowledge that You work all things for good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

'I pray your burdens are lifted by the grace of God. I pray you
come to know peace and well-being in your life with God's Spirit
as your strength, courage, and hope.
I pray that this prayer comes to be.'
'Amen'

Heavenly Father,

I come to You with a heart weighed down by pain, loss, and overwhelming struggles. Lord, You see my brokenness, my mental health battles, and the grief of losing a close friendship. You know how stormy and chaotic my life feels right now, like I am lost at sea with no clear direction. But, God, I thank You for being my anchor, my lifeboat, and my guide.

Thank You for keeping me afloat when I feel like I’m sinking. Thank You for the gift of my family and for the quiet reassurance that You are with me, gently leading me toward peace and healing, even though the journey feels long and difficult.

Lord, I need Your strength to face each day. Please pour Your peace into my heart and quiet the storm inside me. Help me trust in Your timing and lean on Your promises, even when the shore feels far away. Please mend what is broken in my life and bring comfort where there is pain.

I ask You, Lord, to heal my mind and spirit. Surround me with Your love and give me wisdom to navigate this season. Teach me to lean on You fully and remind me that You will never let me go. You are my refuge, my hope, and my rock.

In Jesus’ name, I pray,
Amen.

You are not alone in this, and God is with you every step of the way. Stay strong, and hold on to His promises.

Thank you for checking back in with us. Please continue to let us know how you are doing as we continue to uplift you in prayer.
Today was been hard with the grief and depression. But I'm trying to anchor myself in God. I know He's the only constant in my life. He will never leave me or abandon me, and He will always be here for me.

For whatever it is worth, I understand what you are going through.

The prophet Isaiah prophesied the following about Jesus Christ:

Isa 61:1
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
Isa 61:2
To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Isa 61:3
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

Whatever you are going through, Jesus Christ is able to bind up your broken heart, to comfort you in your time of mourning with the oil of joy, and to give you the garment of praise in place of the spirit of heaviness or in place of the grief and depression you are currently experiencing.

You are in my prayers, and there are people. like myself, who are here for you if you need a listening ear or words of comfort.

I know that things look rough now, but God will see you through.

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NIV 1984)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.5 It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails.

This love is on you right now! This very moment!! You have been through many things and you are right in thinking that He never leaves you or forsakes you!! He love you just as Paul says above.

Now your part is Faith! Without faith it is impossible to please God! So what is faith? Faith is really two words working together!! Trust and confidence! Trust is KNOWING that He is who He says He is! And Confidence is KNOWING that He will do what He says He will do! Remember HE is in control of everything! There is never a time that He isn't in control. We are messed up in our thinking but He is never out control. And really important is He always has our best interest at heart! Always.
