I dont think I would like to be stuck on an elevator with two people. I just need to get stck on an elevator alone with Donny Osmound.lol
 
Jesus is always with me, so he'd already be there.

Solomon and Rich Mullins...
....and if I could add a third, maybe Larry the Cable Guy. It would be a hoot to hear him make jokes about Solomon's 700 mothers-in-law.
 
Assuming I could get past the whole being claustrophobic thing without making a complete fool of myself, I'd have to go with Glenn Miller and Victor Wooten. My two all time favorite musicians- I could pick their brains about technique and pointers for my two main/favorite instruments :D

One of the obscure apostles like Simon or Batholomew, or the other Judas and get their take on what Jesus was like and what they got up to.
And my late grandfather (if he could get resurrected for an elevator ride lol). He had a strong faith and he was a Scout and Youth leader. Everyone in my family say that I got my book nerd brain from him and I apparently look like him. Sadly he died shortly after my mom was born. I can't wait to meet him in heaven in the least.
 
I am surprised that nobody said this, but I want to change my two.

I think I want Jesus (as in the living Jesus the person Jesus). Only persona I saw even mention him was niceguyJ

I don't think i want to be stuck with two people..

But if i were to be stuck at all, i'd love to be stuck with a Cheetah (a tranquilized one most preferably).. and since Julliana started this thread.. Then yeah, you should be the second..

Actually, he was the first one I thought of, but I figured that everyone else would pick him so I wanted to be different. :)

I thought the same thing...that is why I was so surprised it didn't happen.

And I know niceguyj said it, I pointed it out. But I am talking about the physical person Jesus. Someone I can actually converse with.

A brother or sister in Christ and a non believer so we could bring the non believer to christ I could oready see my self saying to the non believer "We are stuck here for a reason God put us here because he has a plan for your life and the plan starts now =)"

I am gonna get yelled at for this lol

But that poor non-believer, being stuck in an elevator with people trying to convert him. That just sounds dreadful to me.

I will give you a story to relate to in regards to that. Back in 2005, I had just got out of the army, I had a couple holes in me (very minor injuries mind you). But I was basically stuck where ever I was sitting. I was staying with my mom until I was able to move around again. One day, she left, with all my crutches and wheelchair in the van, and me enjoying the weather outside. And here come a couple of baptist "recruiters". An hour an a half into that I wanted to go back to Afghanistan.

So, I have some bias there I guess, and I certainly don't mean any offense Joshua.
 
I'm sorry that the people who spoke with you did so in what you deemed to be such an aggressive and offensive way, but please don't lump everyone into this pile. What he is talking about is The Great Commission. As much as I love peace, I have to say that we have to follow the heart of God in this regard rather than the guidance of man. I would hate for this post to cause some christians to become more reluctant to share the gospel than they already are.

I also pray that there will be no "yelling" here. We aren't called to that as christians. I do wonder though why someone would post something they clearly understand will probably be needlessly offensive to the children of God in a christian forum. There is a reason God gives us these understandings and warnings. It is wisdom to learn to heed them. I pray that, rather than reading offense here, christians will see it as a reminder to share Christ in LOVE rather than aggression.

Hopefully, we can now return to the topic of the thread rather than this resulting in a tremendous threadwreck.

So true! I don't like anyone trying to convince me that I need to subscribe to ANYTHING. I am glad that I learned how to quickly and firmly say 'no' or 'not interested' early on in life. I feel sorry for those who don't have the heart to outright tell someone to get lost. It pften saves a lot of headache. The only problem is if a pretty girl is the one trying to talk me into something. I haven't quite figured my way around that one yet. :/
