Submitting to your husband

A wife must submit to her husband. That means in all aspects of life. That does not mean a wife is a slave. She should give her suggestions to her husband when he asks but she knows he has the final say and knows to accept it as he knows what is best for her. Like I said, she is not a slave and both parties of the marriage must have respect for each other.

He doesn’t share money, but doles out as little as possible while looking over anything she spends. He is well off. He is critical to the point of abuse. He loves to hurt, for instance promising the children something and denying at the last minute. She cries daily. She tries so hard to obey!

My father controls all of the money in our house and I am truly grateful for this. It helps me avoid sinning. By controlling the money, he helps me prevent myself from lusting, gluttony, greed, and envy. I know he is looking out for me and only allows me to only purchase items I need. Additionally, he is very critical of my housework and other areas of my life. He is preparing me for my husband and I feel blessed that he does. I surely hope that my fiance continues both of these measures when I become his wife.

It was last October that I told you all about a family situation, it had been going on for years and only seemed to get worse. My reason for telling you was to try to determine what actions God wanted in this situation.

There was an outpouring of prayers for my daughter, children and husband. Powerful prayers. It is as if the Lord came into their lives and cleaned. My son in law got a new job with a lot of prestige so his self confidence has inproved. My daughter has begun to take charge and finds that he is fine with this. The daily tears are gone. This could only be that you have been praying with signs following.

When we all gather with the Lord, the power is unbelievable.
