Just seek Him with all your heart and he will show you how...He loves you. If you want to surrender to Him, just tell Him that and ask Him to help you <3 and He will!

In no particular order:
1. Realize he knows all and you don't.
2. He gave everything we need to know in his book, so study that to know what he wanted you to know.
3. Then do it his way, not your way.
4. Ask WWJD? (What would Jesus do?) Then do that. (Assuming you won't always know, keep reading and keep praying for his help.)
5. Realize you can't, by your own nature, do that, so you need his supernature to do it in you.
6. Stop assuming you have a better answer. (You can try that approach, but it's not ever going to come out to any good.)
7. Repeat, repeat, repeat, until it becomes your nature too.
Since I have asked Jesus to be Lord of my life, I accept everything as from His hand. Both good and bad. I thank him for the joys of the good, and the challenges of the bad.
When going through serious trials (which I am now) I continually say "Thank you, Lord, for the challenges I am going through. It is well because your presence is here."
Submitting is total surrender.
