Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
These are four external acts of sin. Adultery is usually done in secret, fornication, uncleanness and lasciviousness are often associated with being drunk or operating in the dark.
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
These are more hidden and inward acts of sin. People often pursue idolatry and witchcraft as a way to get an advantage over others. Hatred is often hidden, many times those that hate you will try to hide that fact for an advantage. Variance refers to contentions, like a quarrelsome wife. We generally do not think of this as being as serious as the previous seven, but this is clearly a symptom of the corrupt flesh. Emulations are when you get very upset due to envy, indignation or jealousy. For example in Luke when they were going to cast Jesus off the edge of a cliff it says they were filled with wrath. Strife refers to a political competition, turning the church into sects and trying to get votes for yourself. Seditions takes that one step further, where you want to cause a schism in the body of Christ. Heresies are schools of thought like Pharisees and Sadducees.
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
Envying is when you do things prompted by envy. How many murders are prompted by envy, or hatred or idolatry? Covetousness is often equated to idolatry. How many murders are just an extreme form of wrath, strife or sedition? You reap what you sow. Someone who is lascivious can easily go from there to uncleanness to fornication to adultery. It is difficult for someone who never committed fornication to then commit adultery. Likewise all these other things: Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, and envyings can all culminate in murders. This word for drunkenness is first used to refer to being overcharged with the cares of this life and the things of the world. When you are intoxicated you are less able to control yourself, so anything in the world that would cause you to be intoxicated. Could be alcohol or drugs or anything else that can be a sinful addiction. Revellings is similar to what happens when a team wins the Superbowl and all their fans go out and celebrate and get drunk.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
These nine things are like the antidote to the works of the flesh. Either you are filled with love or you will be filled with hate. You can be filled with joy or you can be filled with envy. You can be filled with peace or with wrath. You can be filled with longsuffering or you can retaliate. Women often commit adultery in retaliation, murder can also be a form of retaliation. You can be filled with gentleness or with anger. You can be filled with goodness or uncleanness. Filled with temperance of drunkenness. Filled with meekness or strife.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
This is the problem with "Once Saved Always Saved", doctrine and their condemnation of "works salvation". It is not Jesus, it is you that must crucify the flesh with the affections and lusts. We all have the flesh. It brings shame to us, when we get saved the light shines and we are ashamed of our flesh. At that time we must actively "crucify the flesh". You may stop going out to the bar, stop hanging out with certain friends, and stop putting yourself into a position to be tempted. Yes, Jesus forgave you and purchased you with His blood. But now, you respond by crucifying the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
If we claim that we are saved, children of God who are going to heaven, then lets live a life that expresses that. This does not mean we have a religion with a whole bunch of rules, instead we have one rule. Walk by the Spirit. Let the Spirit talk to you, if the Spirit does not want you to do something you will lose the life and peace, so take heed to that.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
To be desirous of vain glory is covetousness, that is idolatry. Out of that you get witchcraft. Provoking one another is retaliation, it can be in the form of adultery, or murder or contentions. Envying one another is worse, it indicates you are obsessed, filled with hatred, jealousy, strife. But these three things are the early warning sign to you. You have a list of things that if you do those things you won't inherit the kingdom of God. But before you would even go that far you will have this desire for vain glory, and from that you may provoke others or envy others. That is your warning that you are in the flesh, crucify that.

This is like using AI for kids. But this is also like using a wheel chair. Once you sit in that chair and start using it you will lose the strength in your own legs to walk. This is what is going to happen to 90% of the kids going through school and close to 100% of the kids in public school. My word of encouragement is to the homeschools. You can still train your kids right, only now they'll stand out twice because it will be like they are competing against kids in wheelchairs. People will become weak and crippled in their ability to think critically. The day kids start using AI to think for them is the day their brains begin to die.

He quotes Isaiah 2:2-3 as evidence that the Jews will rebuild the temple.
Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. 3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Personally I understand this to refer to the Millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ and of the New Jerusalem. I think it is completely idiotic to interpret this as the temple being rebuilt prior to Armageddon or that this is a reference to the Sanctuary when the Antichrist has set up an abomination in it and the Earth has been struck by wormwood. Now it is crystal clear in the New testament that there is no temple in the New Jerusalem because the entire New Jerusalem is the temple, and there is no possible way the New Jerusalem is built by the Jews on earth, it descends from heaven.
Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
Once again, this is not going to happen during the Great Tribulation when a third of the people on earth die and all the nations assemble themselves to fight with Israel at Armageddon. Nor can this possibly be a reference to the Sanctuary when Antichrist sets up an Idol in the Sanctuary and the genuine Jews flee Israel.
Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Yes, this verse is definitely a reference to the last seven years commonly called the Tribulation. Yes, this definitely indicates that sacrifice and oblation are going to be taking place prior to the midpoint of the seven year tribulation. According to the context this "confirming the covenant" or "strengthening the covenant" can certainly refer to the UN and the Antichrist doing something that opens the way for Israel to once again have sacrifices and oblations. Technically the burning of the red heifer is not a "sacrifice" because it was not done on the altar of God. Rather it is called a ceremony. But it is a necessary requirement prior to them doing all the sacrifices and oblations. So it is certainly a major step in this direction. However, there is nothing in this verse to suggest that the Jews rebuild the temple, they could easily raise the Tabernacle of David and that would be in perfect alignment with this verse.
2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Definition of this word temple --
- used of the temple at Jerusalem, but only of the sacred edifice (or sanctuary) itself, consisting of the Holy place and the Holy of Holies (in classical Greek it is used of the sanctuary or cell of the temple, where the image of the god was placed which is distinguished from the whole enclosure)
This should be translated as Holy Sanctuary and not Temple.
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
The definition of this word for temple is this: the neuter of the adjective hieros, "sacred," is used as a noun denoting "a sacred place, a temple," that of Artemis (Diana), Act 19:27; that in Jerusalem, Mar 11:11, signifying the entire building with its precincts, or some part thereof, as distinct from the naos, "the inner sanctuary" (see No. 2); apart from the Gospels and Acts, it is mentioned only in 1Cr 9:13. Christ taught in one of the courts, to which all the people had access. Hieron is never used figuratively. The Temple mentioned in the Gospels and Acts was begun by Herod in 20 B.C., and destroyed by the Romans in A.D. 70. (Vine's expository dictionary)
It is a different word than the word used in 2 Thessalonians.
Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
This word also refers to the Holy Sanctuary.
2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
This word also refers to the Holy Sanctuary. There is the exact same Holy Sanctuary inside the tabernacle as was inside the temple. What this verse shows is you will have 42 months where the city is tread under foot by the Gentiles. That is three and a half years. We can also see that the Holy Sanctuary of God will be on the Temple mount with the people who worship God being measured. But again, no mention of the Temple as a giant cathedral to God. There is not a single prophecy of the Jews rebuilding their temple. The word of God is very clear, the Holy Sanctuary of God will once again be on the Temple mount along with sacrifices and oblations. That much is true. Is it the tabernacle of David or is it a Temple? The only prophecy we have on that says that the Tabernacle of David will be raised again.

In the last few years we have seen accusations hurled back and forth on social media. One group thinks the other is overcome in a fault. Perhaps they support abortion. Perhaps they support a felon. Whatever the accusation they see themselves as the ones in the right and the others in the wrong. But the one thing we don't see is anyone restoring such a one that is overtaken in a fault in the spirit of meekness.
2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
We did not see this either. When some people did not want to be vaccinated you had people saying they should die, or they should be cut off from health care, or their insurance should be cancelled despite the fact that they had paid for it. That was heinous.
3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
We saw that, Fauci said that to question him is to question science. He thought he was something when in fact he was nothing.
4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
We have also seen this, too much rejoicing in another and not enough rejoicing in yourself alone. If Biden wins an election or Trump wins an election, why is anyone else rejoicing? What has that got to do with anyone else?
5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
And this is the problem with politics, if your candidate wins then you expect to get back government handouts 10 fold what you donated to their campaign. That is corruption. Elections have come to mean that the winners will make the losers bear their burden.
6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Here is the other problem, free news. No one wants to pay for it and as a result the people paying for the news are of two sorts. One wants to manipulate the populace with fake news, the other wants to sell products by using fear porn and other click bait approaches.
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
You reap what you sow. You want free news, you sowed nothing, so you reap nothing but the wind, vanity.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
Do you want to understand what is going on? Simple, those who have been sowing to the flesh are reaping corruption. Those that have been sowing to the Spirit have been reaping life everlasting.

Proof that God has a sense of humor

The Giants don't have any of these blessings. They were not chosen before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before God in love. They are not simply contending with you, they are contending with God. If God is the lion, you are the lion cub. They mess with the Lion cub well, here comes the lion.
5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Adoption means that we are predestined to be in the management of God's corporation. Jesus Christ is the CEO and each of us will have our own function according to the good pleasure of God's will.
6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
Don't worry about your weaknesses, your imperfections. I like to say that the fact that God has chosen me is proof that He has a sense of humor.

Ron Wyatt was an archaelogist who claimed to have found the Ark of the Covenant in a cave of Zechariah underneath Golgotha. He said that blood had dripped down through a crack onto the mercy seat of the ark. The explanation being that when Jesus was crucified there was a big earthquake and the blood ran down through a crack.

They want to tell you that "no one could have predicted this" but unfortunately for them everyone knew that Jeremiah had predicted this and that they had attacked him, mocked him, ridiculed him, and put him into prison. National Geographic has done a four part special on Hurricane Katrina walking through all the facts with little commentary or interpretation. It was clear from the facts that one of two possibilities explained what had happened. One is that everyone from the mayor, to the governor, to the head of FEMA and to the president of the US was an incompetent boob. The news media were also spreading one false story after another and the police chief certainly aided and abetted this comedy of errors. The other possible explanation is that this was intentional and fits the patter of Caesar Nero. You want to buy the land, so by driving the people off the land by flooding them, killing them, busing them away and ultimately bankrupting them you are able to do that. Jeremiah 41:1 Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah.
When you look at the kings and queens you discover that they make a very big deal about your family tree, and the same is true of the occult, those involved in it, the council of 13, the Rothschilds, etc. But in the New Testament we are told we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. All of these different ones are simply flesh and blood.
When we received Jesus Christ and were saved we got His heritage, His family tree. Jesus is our older brother and God is our father. We are not warring according to the flesh but according to the spirit.
