Matthew 14:12 And his disciples came, and took up the body, and buried it, and went and told Jesus.

This is a great martyr that shifts the ministry of Jesus and His disciples into high gear. In the same way the assassination of Saint Stephen shifts the ministry of the apostles into high gear, and perhaps the assassination of Charlie Kirk does the same for us as well today.

13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

After being baptized Jesus went into the wilderness where He fasted and was tempted by the devil. After Paul was converted he also went into the desert where he spent years in the word of God to be readjusted, and that was after Stephan was assassinated. Charlie Kirks assassination should cause all of us to reflect and go to Jesus.

14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

Satan kills and destroys, Jesus heals and feeds.

15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. 16 But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. 17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes. 18 He said, Bring them hither to me.

This is how it is in every ministry. It seems you have next to nothing to give. You don't have nothing, but it is next to nothing. That is all the Lord is asking for, give Him what you have, even if it seems to be almost nothing and let Him bless it.

19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

We pray "give us this day our daily bread" and did it ever occur to you that when the Lord gives you that bread that you are then to give it to the multitude?

20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

Where did they get these twelve empty baskets from that they were able to fill up with the fragments? The 12 disciples are empty vessels. If you are empty then the Lord can fill you. If you are full of yourself then He can't. Like He said, "he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John". If you are an empty vessel in the kingdom of the heaven then you can be filled with bread blessed by the Lord.

21 And they that had eaten were about five thousand men, beside women and children.

Suppose they kill Charlie Kirk and now 12 Charlie Kirk's stand up in his place. We used to sing this song "all he can do the foe, is to just release the flow".

as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

Matthew 14:22 And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

On this side of the lake you are feeding the multitudes and on the other side of the lake you are casting out demons, cleaning up corruption, and fighting the spiritual battle.

23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

Jesus is in the mountain praying, a picture of Jesus in the heavens in ascension.

24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

Meanwhile the church is the boat in the sea being tossed by the waves and the wind was contrary to them rowing.

25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

There are four three hour watches of the night, this is the last watch of the night, right before the dawn. The sea represents the nations and Jesus walking on the sea indicates that if you take a look at what is going on in the nations you can see Jesus walking in their midst all across the globe.

26 And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

The world is filled with Near Death Experiences of Jesus that is causing them to turn and repent and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

If we are going to step out in faith for full time ministry we need a word from the Lord that we can stand on.

29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

The word for all ministries is to "come to Jesus".

30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

First he takes his eyes off of Jesus, second, you know you have taken your eyes off of Jesus because you are afraid, then you see you are beginning to sink, that in turn causes you to turn to the Lord and cry out to Him.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

People do not go out into the wilderness to see a reed shaken by the wind or someone who is flailing around in the water trying not to sink.

32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

There are two sides to the Christian walk, you can be in church building up the saints, or you can be in a ministry walking among the nations sharing the gospel with them and calling them to come to Jesus.

33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

This is the ministry, bring all those that are diseased to the Lord and let them know if they will but touch the hem of His garment they will be made perfectly whole. Your job in the ministry is to bring them to Jesus, however, it is up to them to touch the hem of HIs garment.

That which comes out of the mouth is what defiles a man

Matthew 15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

There are so many traditional teachings that we hold as though they are God's word when they aren't. Washing your hands before you eat is a good teaching, but it isn't a commandment of God.

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

This is a good example of "with what judgement you judge you shall be judged". The real question they are asking Jesus is why did his disciples violate their rules? They were trying to find something where they could accuse Him of being rebellious. If He taught His disciples to ignore the traditional teachings of the Pharisees then that would be an example. But then Jesus flips this around and accuses them of being rebellious against God. The Pharisees authority comes from God, if they are rebellious against God they have annulled their own authority.

4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

This is one of the ten commandments. This law is literally set in stone.

5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;

The Pharisees were teaching that if you took the money you would have given to your father or mother to care for them and instead simply give it to the Temple then you are free of this obligation. It is like a store giving a two for one sale.

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

False prophets will make merchandise of you, that is what they do. They will twist the word any way they need to in order to squeeze a little more money out of you.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Think about this, there are a lot of preachers and priests and tele evangelists who can talk a good talk, but if you actually see their heart it is far from the Lord. They have their luxury cars, nice houses, big bank accounts, private planes, etc. That should be a very big warning, Jesus didn't have a place to lay his head and yet we are supposed to think the guy with the luxury car and mansion is a follower of Jesus?

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

We need to see through the commandments of men. If there are any "unwritten rules" then know for sure, those are commandments of men. When I started this blog it was an unwritten rule to not talk about the rapture. Since then I get asked a lot what I do, especially by other Christians. I tell them I have a blog. If they then ask me what it is about I tell them and that is when their face turns sour. I don't keep this secret but at the same time I have learned don't talk about it unless someone asks.

10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: 11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.

It is stunning to me how many Christians do not understand this. They are extremely careful about washing their hands but at the same time extremely careless about judging others. It is stunning to me how many times I hear people accusing others of being a false prophet. That is a very serious thing to say. According to the Bible with what judgement you judge you shall be judged. If you were to call a brother or sister a false prophet and you are wrong, well then you are the false prophet. Think about Dana Coverstone, or Vicki Goforth Parnell, or many of the others. These ones have all been called false prophets and I have certainly not discerned that. What makes things even worse is that the ones who are making the accusations don't even know what the Biblical definition of a false prophet is. They think if they make a prophecy and it doesn't come to pass then they are a false prophet. That is idiotic. Every prophecy that we have now in the Bible about the end times did not come to pass during the lifetime of that prophet. On the contrary a prophet can prophesy, it can come to pass, and they can still be a false prophet. Balaam and Judas were both false prophets and yet Balaams prophecies are part of the Bible and did come to pass. Judas was one of the 12 disciples of Jesus. A false prophet is one who leads people to worship another God besides Jesus Christ our Lord. That is the critical definition.

The Pharisees were defiled by teaching doctrines that were the commandments of men but which also made the commands of God null and void.

Jesus Christ is the OG

Matthew 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

I love this verse! It is an unwritten rule among Christians that you are not to offend others, especially not a pastor or priest.

13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Jesus Christ is the OG (original gangster). This is based. These guys are going to crucify Him for this and yet He is still spitting truth.

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

Great advice! Let them alone! It is not our job to prevent people from falling into the ditch. It is our job to warn them, Jesus did that, but rather than be warned they got offended. Fine, let them alone. Time will tell, they will fall into the ditch, and then people will see that they were selling a counterfeit, and that Jesus Christ is the real deal.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

He is talking about washing hands.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? 17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? 18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: 20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

This word "defile" does not refer to making you sick. Yes, if you eat with unwashed hands it is possible that you will get sick, and yes that stuff will go into the draught, could be as diarrhea, or as vomit. But when you appear before the Judgement seat of God He is not going to judge you for getting sick, He will judge you for being defiled with murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies and things like that. The reason these two are put together in this parable is that in the world these thoughts are everywhere. They are in advertisements, they are in the jokes told by the water cooler, they are in TV, movies, the news, etc. Every day we need to be washed in the word to clean these defiling things off of us lest they get into us and defile us.

21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.

Now we will get an illustration of what this defilement is like.

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Think about kids on Tik Tok, or Facebook or video games. They are grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

Does the Bible say anything about these online platforms, games and media? Nope and yet we have many disciples of the Lord crying about how evil and destructive they are.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

All that stuff is made by unbelievers in the world. We are not here to judge them, we are not here to make what they do illegal, etc. If the unbelievers want to make things illegal that is their business.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

So then, Jesus was sent to heal the sick and help those who are in distress. This is the appropriate prayer. We need help, especially now with AI, fake news, shadow banning, and algorithms designed to cause kids to be addicted to this media.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

This is a major mistake everyone makes, they try to package the word of God into the package that the world has. If you teach the word of God then don't try to make it popular with rap songs and video games. Today some are using AI to make sermons. It is not meet to do this.

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

First, she has not ego, this is crucial. She is willing to be called a dog. Second, she is willing to eat the crumbs that fall on the floor. This is what the world does. Think of Harry Potter, "the boy who lived". It uses crumbs from the Bible to make a story about witchcraft. To the rest of us it is unclean to eat off the floor, but to the dogs they do this and for some it might actually turn them to the Lord.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

It takes great faith, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood is an example of this great faith. He had a TV show on public broadcasting. It had no budget and yet it became the most influential children's TV show and it made children whole. You cannot have any ego, and you must have great faith and you must have a burden for the children who are vexed with the devil on the TV. But if so, then the TV or Youtube or whatever media you use can become a source of healing.

We have no appreciation for the fact that if the Lord brakes and blesses what we have it can feed thousands.

Matthew 15:29 And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.

The sea of Galilee represents the nations, the sea always represents the nations. Jesus sitting on the mountain represents Jesus Christ, the ascended Lord.

30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: 31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

This represents all the ministries in the church age.

32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

Three days represents resurrection and it represents the Triune God.

33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? 34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes. 35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground. 36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. 37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full. 38 And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. 39 And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

We always think we have so little, almost nothing. We have no appreciation for the fact that if the Lord brakes and blesses what we have it can feed thousands.

The rejoicing at the Lord's death is the sign.

Matthew 16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

There are many prophecies that have been fulfilled, but regardless, if your heart is not right with the Lord they will not help you see Him. Chuck Missler did a statistical analysis calculating the odds of a number of prophecies all being fulfilled as over a trillion to one, but again, if your heart is not right you will not see Jesus Christ the Messiah. We can share signs and wonders and prophetic fulfillment and the mysteries of the kingdom, but in order to receive this you need to pray, open your heart to the Lord and ask Him to enlighten you.

2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Right now the sky is red, it is filled with blood. I saw a video about what is going on in China. They evaluate all students and they put special clothes on them so they can track their location at all times. Then students go "missing" and the evidence indicates the kids are being snatched for body parts for elites. In the US they have become rabidly insistent on abortions up to the time of birth. They estimate that since abortions were legalized in the US there have been over 63 million of them. Then of course take a look at the wars around the earth and the gang violence on the streets of the US. The heavens are filled with blood. What does that mean? Well it depends, is this your evening or your morning? When Jesus was crucified was that the end of your day, the end of your hope? Or, was that the sun rising on your day as without the light exposing sins and convicting people you would be free to do as you please? When the saints get raptured then the Antichrist, the man of lawlessness, will no longer be restrained and will be manifested to the world. The earth is round, for some people the sun is going down on them while at the very same time for others the sun is rising. This is a sign, which person are you? Where is your heart? This chapter presents the Pharisees to us and it also presents the disciples.

4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

We are told this repeatedly in the gospels. In other places Jesus says this when they officially rejected Him as the Messiah saying He was casting out demons by Beelzebub. He pronounced judgment on them saying they had committed the unforgivable sin, if you reject Jesus Christ as the Messiah then there is no way to be forgiven of your sins. When God pronounces judgement through the prophets He will accompany it with a sign. The sign of Jonah is that he was three days and nights in the belly of the great fish. The Ninevites had been told that this is what they would see, so it was a sign that had been prophesied to them. In addition to this sign Jonah walked to and fro throughout Nineveh telling them to repent for forty days. Now they did repent and as a result God did relent. He did not destroy the city immediately, instead it was a few hundred years later that the judgment came. So just like Jonah and that sign we see that there are two kinds of people, those for whom seeing Jesus crucified causes them to repent, and those for whom it causes them to be revealed as men of lawlessness.

But this brings us to the central point, why are they seeking a sign? The rapture will be a huge sign, and some have been seeking to know when the rapture will be. Why? There is this thought that you can live your whole life in sin and then at the last moment you can repent and be saved. If you are walking with the Lord every day, if your life is fully given to Him, does it really matter when? For you knowing who the Lord is, that is what is important, that is what you are seeking. But if you are an adulterer you don't want the rapture to take place while you are committing adultery. If you are a wicked person committing lawlessness you don't want to be in the midst of committing some evil crime when the Lord returns. For you knowing "when" is so essential. Only a wicked and adulterous person would have such a plan. The problem for them of course is they have to know when to repent which is why we are told that for them it will come as a surprise. The Lord is going to return when someone who is wicked and adulterous will be the most tempted to commit sin. God is a discerner of the hearts and this event is going to divide the earth from those who mourn at the Lord's death from those who rejoiced.

Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees

Matthew 16:5 And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread. 6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

First of all, leaven does not mean sin, it means the doctrines of the society you live in. The doctrines of the Pharisees were leaven, but so are the doctrines of Islam and the doctrines of Catholocism and the doctrines of Hindus, etc. Telling you that you must wash your hands before eating is a doctrine of man and is leaven. These doctrines are not necessarily sin unless they are in rebellion to the word of God. So yes, the leaven is associated with sin because the doctrines of Jezebel are in rebellion to God, but technically they refer to teachings which have the potential to short circuit the word of God. So then, to take heed and beware of the leaven means you need to examine the doctrines that you are embracing, are they based on the word of God? That is to take heed. If not, beware of them, they are like a snake hidden in the grass.

Let us consider three examples of the leaven around the rapture.

1. No one will know who the Antichrist is until after the rapture. This is based on Paul saying that after the restrainer steps aside the man of lawlessness (the Antichrist) will be revealed. They interpret the restrainer stepping aside as the rapture (I agree) and they interpret the man of lawlessness to be the Antichrist (I agree). But who is he revealed to? According to Paul he is revealed to those left behind and the unbelievers. Who was the restrainer restraining? It was the man of sin, the Antichrist kingdom. If those who are raptured are restraining the Antichrist, how are they doing that if they can't see him? Paul is not saying that those who are raptured cannot see the Antichrist, only that those who are left behind, those who are asleep, they will wake up after the rapture and then see him when it is too late. This doctrine encourages people to have the attitude "no one knows so don't bother looking". It is a drug to put you to sleep.

2. No one knows the day or the hour, this is the most famous doctrine, but it is also leaven. Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour, so then how can this be leaven? Well they again use this to say "no one knows, so stop talking about it" and again it is a drug to put you to sleep. Go find where Jesus said "no one knows the day or the hour" and He follows that up with "therefore you have to watch". The farmer doesn't know the day or the hour he will harvest when he plants his seeds, therefore he has to watch. The pregnant woman doesn't know the day or the hour she will have the baby therefore you have to watch. You don't know the day or the hour that a thief will come, therefore you hire a night watchman.

3. The Jews will rebuild the temple. First of all there are two Greek words that we translate as "temple" in English. One means the building, like a Cathedral or Mosque. The other word refers to the Holy sanctuary, the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies. All of the verses that would indicate there is a temple during the tribulation refer to the Holy Sanctuary. Even though the New Testament refers to the Temple complex, the building, over sixty times, never once does it indicate that building will be present during the tribulation. Also there is no prophecy in the Old Testament of the Jews rebuilding a third temple. Instead there is a prophecy that in the last days the tabernacle of David will be raised. The Holy Sanctuary can be present in both the Tabernacle and Temple. Now because of this doctrine of the temple being rebuilt many Christians are focused on this sign saying that when the Jews begin to rebuild the temple, or when they get a peace plan that allows them to rebuild the temple, that is the sign of the Lord's coming. So instead of watching for all the signs everyone focuses on this one sign. What is the harm in that? Well in June of 2025 Israel had a ceremony where they burned one of their certified red heifers to ashes and the temple institute collected those ashes for purifying the temple (meaning the Holy Sanctuary). They said the ceremony was done according to the law of Moses. That means they have restarted the priesthood and the oblations and they also must have raised the tabernacle of David. You cannot perform this ceremony unless the tabernacle of David has been raised because you must be looking into the temple (the Holy Sanctuary) at the time of this ceremony. That is the prophecy, according to the Old Testament the Tabernacle of David will be raised again in Shiloh and that is precisely what took place in June of 2025. So all the Christians worldwide were alerted, right? Nope, they are all looking at the Temple mount and didn't pay any attention. Leaven makes it easier to eat bread. The word of God is bread. To watch for the Lord's return is hard, but if all I have to do is watch the temple mount, well that is easier.

Hence the Lord's word, take heed and beware the leaven of the Pharisees.

Pray for a revelation that will change you and save you

Matthew 16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Caesarea Philippi is in the north, in the tribe of Dan. It is far from the big cities like Jerusalem where the Pharisees had made an official proclamation that Jesus was not the Messiah and it was far from Capernaum the city He said would receive greater judgment than Sodom. It is at the base of mount Hermon which is the northern border of Israel. The name means "a sanctuary" and signifies heaven. This is also where the river Jordan begins, from a fountain at the base of these mountains. On the one hand they are leaving all the noise of the Satanic world and on the other they going back to the source. Interestingly the Lord does not start with who He is but rather with who all these various people in the world are saying He is.

14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

The religious leaders have said that He is casting out Demons by the prince of the demons, but clearly no one is buying that. They are rejecting the gaslighting and coming up with all kinds of theories. They are saying John the Baptist because they understood that the Bible prophesies of rising of the dead. Elias was prophesied of in Malachi that he would come in the last days, and some Jews thought that Jeremiah was the prophet who was like unto Moses, that Moses said would come in Deuteronomy 18. So all three of these indicated that everyone was riled up that not only was Jesus a very significant prophet, but it signified the end of the age.

15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

All these people know that something is going on, the age is coming to an end and they are groping around in the dark trying to figure out where Jesus fits in the Bible. But now Jesus turns from all these ones groping around in the dark to the disciples, who do you say He is?

16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

These are two major revelations! To say that Jesus is the Christ means He is the Messiah, the one anointed to be king. He is the son of David. But to say that He is the son of the living God, that is a deeper revelation indicating an advanced understanding of the Old Testament. The Jews realized if the virgin is with child, who is the father? That is how they come to know that the one prophesied to come would be the son of God.

17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

We should all be praying for a revelation of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. Ask the Father to give you this revelation. This is the contrast with the Pharisees, they prayed for a sign and that request revealed that they were a wicked and adulterous generation. Instead if you pray for a revelation of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God, that is a vision that will change you and save you. Without that vision you will perish.

The revelation of death and resurrection

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

If you read the biographies of spiritual men you will discover at the very foundation of any ministry is a single verse that they got the revelation on. George Mueller ran an orphanage in England, his whole ministry was based on his revelation of the verse "seek ye first the kingdom of the heavens and all these things will be added unto you". He realized from that verse that if he sought the Lord's kingdom as his number 1 priority that the Lord would provide all he needed for the orphanage. My ministry is based on the revelation of a single verse as well in Colossians all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus Christ, the word of God.

19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I can ask the Lord and He will give me the keys to unlock any verse in the Bible and also the keys to debunk and lock up any false doctrine. Often to bind these ones requires wisdom, likewise to loose others requires wisdom. All that wisdom is hidden in Jesus Christ, the word of God.

20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

This is very interesting, but consider the context of the chapter. The leaven of the Pharisees is something you need to beware of. It is taken as "sacred" that no one knows who the Antichrist is, no one knows the day of the rapture, and everyone is waiting for the Jews to rebuild the temple. Don't go and contradict these things. Jesus will be declared the Messiah, the son of the living God when He is raised from the dead. Likewise, at this point what is most important is for people to have a relationship with Jesus Christ, if they do that then when He is crucified it will bring them to salvation. There is no benefit in hashing this out in debates on social media and the internet. During the tribulation many, many people will be saved. Sow the seeds now, they will sprout during the tribulation.

21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

Do you understand? The only way you can truly know the Lord is if you have the fellowship of His sufferings. It isn't simply the twelve disciples who must suffer many things, all believers must suffer many things in order to experience the resurrection life. No one truly trusts the Lord until they have gone through the experience of death and resurrection.

22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

When we go through the experiences of death and resurrection it will expose our opinions, our good ideas, our "good heart", etc. These things are toxic to our walk with the Lord and removing these toxins are essential.

23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

One minute Peter is being given the keys to the kingdom and commended for getting a revelation straight from God the father, the next he is rebuked for being one with Satan. Pride goes before a fall. Paul said he was given a thorn in the flesh so that all the revelations he was getting would not make him proud. Let us learn to appreciate our failings and shortcomings and things that humble us. Because without them it would be so easy to become proud and fall into the snare of the enemy.

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

It is time to make a choice. It is up to you. Do you want to come after Jesus? Some Christians don't, they are happy to be saved from hell, good enough. But if you want to follow the Lord you will have to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him. When I was growing up I considered at great length what I wanted to do when I grew up. I considered all kinds of careers and couldn't decide. However, I knew precisely what I didn't want to do. I did not want to be a full time Christian. To me they were babies, always crying and whining about things. To actually give myself to Christ and the church, that was death to me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

And then I discovered a life of adventure, excitement, and spiritual warfare. I discovered that speaking the truth in love took more courage and skill than tackling a fullback going full speed.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

This is the question that was a thorn in my side when I was an unbeliever. I realized, what is the point of doing this or that if when it is all over I have to appear before God and be judged? That is the killer question, if God is real how is your life going to end up? You have to answer that question first before any other question matters.

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

There is going to be an award ceremony at the end of the age. I have gone to a lot of these and gotten a lot of awards. You don't compete because of the award ceremony, you compete because you love competition, you love to be on the battlefield. But at some point the season is over, the war is over and at that point you need closure. You don't get a reward for receiving the free gift of salvation, that was nothing of you and all of Jesus. You get a reward for your works. What I loved was being part of a winning team, that to me was the best feeling.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

There is no resurrection without death. There is no rapture without taking up your cross and dying to self.

Daniel 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

There is a lot of debate over what this covenant is. Recently Trump signed a covenant concerning Israel and that covenant was confirmed by many. Perhaps the Antichrist was one of the many who signed that? But this term "confirm" could mean to strengthen and so many understand this verse to say that the Antichrist will strengthen a weak covenant by introducing the mark of the beast. Either you obey or else you cannot buy or sell. So I don't think this is a peace treaty, I think it is either the Pact for the Future which was signed in 2024 on the Feast of Trumpets or something like that. Basically the idea is to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases each country emits. It is a weak covenant because no one follows it but they are happy to sign because they want other countries to follow it. But what would really strengthen that covenant is if the Antichrist had complete control over what you could buy or sell with a digital currency. That would put some real teeth into that covenant. This verse does not say the covenant is for one week, it says the Antichrist strengthens it for one week. The one week period begins with the strengthening, and it is 2520 days. This action is linked to the second action of Antichrist causing the sacrifice and oblation to cease. Why would the covenant be linked to Israel and their worship with sacrifices and oblations? It is because of the overspreading of abominations. Idol worship, that is the link between the two. This is not the only prophecy in the Old Testament about the day of the Lord. There are two other prophecies that tell us clearly that the reason for God pouring out His judgement on the Day of the Lord (at least one of the major reasons) is that they divided His land. Why would Trump be so big on dividing Israel's land? He has said clearly that he thinks Gaza will make the absolutely best area to build a Mediterranean resort. He also probably appreciates how big a tourist attraction a Jewish temple would be. Dividing Israel's land is all about the worship of money. But what about the Pact for the future, isn't that about protecting the earth? No! Not even close. That is about using all the electricity for AI. These AI factories (called data centers) are huge consumers of electricity. They need people to stop using energy so the AI can use it, and they are doing this because AI is the new superpower. This is the worship of power. God is omniscient and omnipotent. They want to replace God with AI. That is idolatry. The reason for the day of the Lord making the whole earth desolate is because of idol worship. This judgement has been determined, it is written in the word of God and it will be poured out on the desolate. First Antichrist pulls the rug out from under the Jews and pours out judgment on them, and then righteous judgement says "as you have done it will be done unto you". The Jews are desolate when the oblations and sacrifices are caused to cease. They do not have a temple. They might have thought they were going to get one, but they are stabbed in the back.

You don't need a "temple" to have sacrifices and oblations, that can simply refer to the Tabernacle.

Is there anything that proves the covenant is not a Peace treaty so that Israel can rebuild the temple?

Yes, the fact that this time limit of seven years is given. Would you build a cathedral based on a seven year lease?

In fact I suspect the Pact for the Future is the only seven year covenant the UN has ever made. The thought is that the temporary time frame is all that is necessary to get the climate situation under control.

A Revelation of Jesus only

Matthew 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

That is, six days after the revelation that Jesus was the Christ, the son of God. In Genesis when God says "let there be light" that is the revelation. After six days is after God made man.

3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.

Moses represents the Law, Elijah represents the prophets. Jesus is in resurrection and now the Bible, the word of God is talking with Him.

4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

A tabernacle refers to a tent or a booth. The Feast of Tabernacles is when all of Israel builds tabernacles to stay outside in. It is the end of the summer, and it is a week long celebration, a harvest festival that is a shadow of the wedding of the Lamb. After six days you have Adam and Eve, and they have a wedding. If Jesus was there talking with someone you wouldn't say "hold on, I'll make two booths here, one for you and one for the guy you are talking to". Maybe this is the Feast of Tabernacles when Jesus ascends the mountain and Peter and the other disciples thought they were going up there to gather wood to build a booth for the celebration?

5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

A lot of people can speak the word of God. One guy will make it sound like a fairy tale, another will make it sound like a grisly ruthless ruler, and still another will make it sound like it was written by people who are sexist and bigots. We need to hear the word of God that comes out of Jesus' mouth.

6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

Why would that word make you afraid? If you had been twisting the word of God to fit your own narrative, well that word would condemn you. In reality everyone twists the word to fit their own opinion.

7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

I don't need to walk in fear if I am speaking the word that Jesus gives me. But for a new believer it is much easier to repeat the words of their favorite Bible teacher as though those are the authoritative word of God. Even if your Bible teacher is Moses or Elijah, you need to focus on God's beloved Son, in whom God is well pleased, and hear ye Him. Only then can you arise, and if you are sharing what He said then you can be without fear.

8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Elijah, Elisha and Jonah

Matthew 17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

No one in Israel would be able to receive a word that says "we need to listen to Jesus only, not to Moses or Elijah, or anyone else". The only way you can receive that word is if you see that Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to the heavens and is now at the right hand of God the Father.

10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?

We need to be careful, there are prophecies and we see that this thing must come first. But when it does come first it will take revelation to see that it has come first. The disciples all knew John the Baptist, they all knew his ministry and yet they had not seen that his ministry was the fulfillment of Elijah coming first to pave the way for Jesus.

11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

In the Old Testament Jezebel tried to kill Elijah, in the New Testament Herod does kill John the Baptist at the behest of his daughter and wife. When Elijah was taken up the mantle fell to Elisha who did twice the miracles that Elijah did. When John the Baptist was killed the mantle fell to Jesus. According to rabbinical tradition the boy that Elisha raised from the dead was Jonah. Jesus' ministry is carried on by the 12 apostles just as Elisha's ministry was carried on by Jonah. So when Jesus said this evil and adulterous age would be given the sign of Jonah he was referring directly to the ministry of the 12 apostles who were in Israel and Jerusalem warning of the coming the Judgement for the forty years prior to the temple being destroyed.

13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

Do you understand? If John the Baptist was Elijah then Jesus was Elisha and the disciples were Jonah.

We are being trained to rule and reign

Matthew 17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, 15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.

Take a look at Tik Tok and you will find many children who are lunatick, sore vexed. Everyone is debating on what the leaders and rulers should do. Some want us to drown in debt, Mamdani is offering everything to be free and the "rich" will pay for it. Others appear cruel and heartless, burn everything down, get rid of all public assistance and if you don't work you don't eat.

16 And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.

These "lunaticks" will also tell you that the church is too weak and can't help.

17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.

This is true, this whole issue got worse and worse as the government stripped the church bare and handed all responsibility for the poor to the government. In the Bible your "social security" was your children. To hand that responsibility to the government is perverse. People are demanding that we are a secular nation, they want the government to hold the money bag for the poor, yes this is faithless, but it is also perverse to give the money bag for the poor to the government which everyone knows is the most corrupt organization in the entire society.

18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

Consider the issue with SNAP, WIC, EBT and the cutting off of these government assistance plans. We discover that 9% of the country is receiving this assistance. That is too much. There are many people who can and should work who choose not to because they would rather the government pay. That should be cut off immediately. Also money the taxpayer is providing to supplement nutrition is going for junk food that causes obesity and other health problems. That also should be cut off immediately. The tax laws were changed so that everyone gets a "standard" charitable deduction and unless you are giving a huge portion of your income to charity you can't write anything off. This is bogus and should be eliminated. Charitable donations to churches should be a tax write off and churches need to shoulder the burden for caring for the poor. They will determine who is a "widow indeed". No more encouraging women to have five babies out of wedlock with five different fathers. There are simple rules that are common sense and work out for the good of all.
