Acts 1:12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

This is further proof that Jesus ascended on Shavuot. What difference does it make that the Mount of Olives is a sabbath days journey from Jerusalem if it wasn't a sabbath day when they took the journey? The Bible is not a book of trivia, every word is meaningful and significant. Not only does this indicate that when Jesus ascended it was on a sabbath day, but it also indicates that when He returns and steps down on the Mount of Olives it will also be a sabbath day. Otherwise why is it important that this location be a sabbath days journey from Jerusalem?

Think of the Mount of Olives as a "safe room" that God created for Jerusalem. When His people are attacked at home they will be able to flee into this safe room, but it has to be close so they can make it before getting caught by the intruders.

Since Shavuot is always the "day after the sabbath" it is impossible for ten days prior to Shavuot to be on a Sabbath. The Lord told us to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and that was explained as referring to the traditional teachings of the Pharisees. Jesus ascended on a Holy convocation, it was a dress rehearsal for His ascension. There is also going to be a Holy Convocation for this day that the Jews flee into the Mount of Olives.

Acts 1:13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren. 15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,) 16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry. 18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out. 19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood. 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take. 21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, 22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection. 23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias. 24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, 25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place. 26 And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

This is also very significant and prophetic. When Jesus was crucified Judas threw the silver into the temple and went out and hanged himself. Now we learn that where he died was "the field of blood" or the field that was bought with that silver is the "field of blood". Either way we get this grisly picture of both Judas the field purchased with that silver as being a place where a lot of people were killed in a gruesome way or committed suicide. After the rapture it will be just like when Elijah called down fire. The false prophets will then be slaughtered because they lied and deceived the people concerning the rapture. And why did they do that? It is because they took silver to build up their ministry with a big building, a big sound system, and everything needed to build up their ministry as long as they didn't teach about the rapture. The Bible says that the silver will be cast out into the street in that day. If the Pastor is not raptured no one is going to be going to their big meeting hall or watching them on Facebook or whatever. All that silver spent on those things will then be seen as a complete waste.

Numbers 14:27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.

I have been posting since 2020, though I did not start on this forum. There has been a lot of murmurings against this blog. I have warned people that the things you say the Lord can hear. I have also seen them murmuring against others that have been warning as well. None of the watchmen are perfect, they have all had errors, but we have been told that we will be judged with the same judgment with which we judge others. As a result I have tried to exercise mercy in my judgment of the various channels. But these ones who are murmuring, they appear merciless to me.

28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

I have also warned them that as you have done it will be done to you. They condemn others who were not perfect and didn't have all the answers, well they will be judged with the same judgement. They measured out reproaches, insults, mocking, and ridicule. Well that will be measured out to them as well. Hey, if you are a Christian then why weren't you raptured? Isn't that proof that God rejected you? So why should I listen to you? That is what those who are left behind will hear.

29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

This is insulting. This is God treating them like garbage. The only way God would do that is if they treated their brothers and sisters, especially those speaking the word of God to them, like garbage.

30 Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun. 31 But your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which ye have despised.

Think of who these ones are that are condemning and rebuking the watchmen. They are setting themselves up as judge and jury. They are usurping the Lord's position as judge, they are judging another man's servant. This is very arrogant. The Lord told us that unless we become as children we shall in no wise enter into the kingdom. Remember what you were like when you were 12, that is how you should be as a Christian. The ones who will be strewn in the wilderness are those who acted arrogant, like their word was the word of God.

32 But as for you, your carcases, they shall fall in this wilderness. 33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

God knows the heart. The reason behind the mocking and ridicule is not a genuine dispute over what the word of God says. No, it is because in their heart they are hiding sin, the day of the Lord will bring that into judgment, they don't want that, and so they beat anyone who tells them the day of the Lord is here. Meanwhile, the children suffer for the mistakes of the parents. If you were following a pastor who led you astray, his body will fall in the wilderness of the tribulation, but you will not. You will have to confess, repent, and begin again and it will be trials and tribulation. But you will be walking the same path of salvation that everyone else did. Only your path will be accelerated. It will be like walking on a moving sidewalk that they have at airports. You will fly through a life of trials and tribulations in a matter of just a few years.

34 After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

In reality from the time that this judgment was given they only wandered for 38 years. That is because God was counting the two years they had already been in the wilderness. We see the same thing in the gospels when Jesus tells the Pharisees they will get the sign of Jonah. That sign included Jonah walking about for 40 days saying that the city would be overthrown. We have temple records showing that from 30AD until 70AD when the temple was destroyed God never accepted the atoning sacrifice. That is because Jesus had issued this judgement prior to the day of Atonement in 30 AD saying they had committed the unforgivable sin in rejecting Jesus Christ as Messiah. Because of that some think Jesus was crucified in 30 AD. No, from the crucifixion it was another 38 years of the disciples walking to and fro saying that the city would be overthrown. Pattern is prophecy and based on this pattern Jesus was crucified in 32 AD.

35 I the Lord have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

Again, pattern is prophecy, this 38 years in the wilderness depicts the 7 year tribulation. This also proves that God intends for everyone to be raptured prior to this, but in reality it will be about 1/6th of the believers (Caleb and Joshua represent 1/6th of the spies).

36 And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, 37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the Lord.

Think about that. They were scared "if we go up we'll be killed". What they should have been thinking is "If we speak against the Lord He will no longer protect us and we will be killed". They magnified the giants and took the Lord for granted. Our thinking needs to be adjusted. We can trivialize giants, that is not an issue, and we can magnify the Lord. That approach is fine, but the other way around is not fine. Look, according to Sun Tzu you shouldn't take your enemy for granted or assume he is an idiot. So I think that applies to spiritual warfare as well, but what we really need to do more than anything is appreciate the Lord who is with us and realize the enemy has no chance against Him.

38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

So then they depict the two witnesses during the tribulation. They prefigure the two witnesses.

39 And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

Jesus said that those who were left behind will mourn and there will be "weeping and gnashing of teeth". This is a picture of that.

40 And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the Lord hath promised: for we have sinned.

This is arrogance. These ones thought they were "mighty warriors of the Lord fighting the spiritual warfare". You see a lot of these ones, very arrogant, rebuking the watchmen. They think their sin was in making one mistake about some person not realizing the sin was arrogance and runs very deep. They have a very high opinion of themselves.

41 And Moses said, Wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the Lord? but it shall not prosper. 42 Go not up, for the Lord is not among you; that ye be not smitten before your enemies. 43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and ye shall fall by the sword: because ye are turned away from the Lord, therefore the Lord will not be with you. 44 But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and Moses, departed not out of the camp. 45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

Think about this, they are so arrogant they won't listen to Moses and don't care that the Lord is not with them.

This is a really big revelation. Often the brother or sister that you think is nothing compared to you is truly "a mighty spiritual warrior". If you are really on the field of battle you know that at any moment you could be struck down by an arrow, that it is only the mercy of the Lord that you are still alive. Even Mike Tyson or Mohammed Ali can be caught by a stray punch that lays them low. All real warriors know this. They have experienced those shots and they have seen it in others. Ali saw Foreman destroy Frazier so he knew that Foreman was for real. Their are many phony Christians who treat spiritual warfare like it is a child's game.

You know it by the way the pretend David was some little kid with no training. A modern day example of David was Wayne Gretzky. He was younger and smaller than all the other hockey players. What people missed is that he had trained seriously since he was six. He had his own ice rink in the back yard and from the time he was six he was playing organized hockey with kids four years older than him. Yes he was smaller and weaker than the other kids, but he was trained in the art of war. Gretzky was a warrior and as soon as he was old enough he entered the NHL and dominated it. That is the proper example of David.

John 10:22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

The dedication of the altar, or house, or wall is when it is completed. This would not be a reference to the pre tribulation rapture but to the end of the 70th week.

Peace and Security

The UN Charter is the foundational treaty that established the United Nations in 1945, outlining its purposes (peace, security, cooperation, human rights), principles (sovereign equality, non-use of force), membership, and principal organs (General Assembly, Security Council, etc.). It's a cornerstone of international law, binding on member states, and codifies key international relations tenets like state sovereignty and the prohibition of aggression, ensuring international peace and shared progress.

The UN was formed with the goal of peace and security. This is why we have human government. We left God after sinning and were kicked out of the Garden. Therefore we lost peace and had to worry about our own security. Ever since then Peace and Security has been a constant theme of fallen man and human government.

The UN was formed in 1945 following WW2 because the world was desperate for Peace and Security. 44 years later the world was saying "Peace and Security" when the Berlin wall came down. 34 years after that we have the Hamas invasion of Israel and the world has polarized into two alliances and we are moving to war. The UN Is 80 years old and we are closing in on its expiration date. It has been a total failure as we have had more wars and conflicts during its 80 years than at any other 80 year period in history. However, instead of World Wars we have had proxy wars. That is not due to the UN but rather due to the Atomic bomb. Also the US does not declare war anymore, we have "police actions" because there is no popular support for Congress to declare war and instituting a draft would cause riots and protests.

But since 2023 we have moved steadily closer and closer to World War 3.

1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

This word translated "sudden" is only used one other time in the New Testament.

Luke 21:34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. G160

So the idea is not that the destruction comes at the time that they say Peace and Security, but rather that "peace and security" is a ruse so that when the destruction comes it comes by surprise.

For example, if I put a pot on the stove it will boil. I can see it slowly coming to a boil. But if I put a lid on that pot it might come as a surprise and boil over because I couldn't see the pot slowly coming to a boil. Now imagine the pot is a pressure cooker. Not only is there a top but it is clamped down. What happens? You will get an explosion. Not only will it blow suddenly when you are unaware, but it will be sudden destruction.

This is what the UN is, it is a cover to the pot. But then when the Antichrist comes along they will clamp that cover down with the mark of the beast controlling what people can buy or sell. The point is they are not able to deliver on the promise of peace and security, so it is a lie. You take a situation that is unrighteous, you cover it up and claim everything is fine, peace and security, well you know what is going to happen, it will explode. That is what is happening in Iran, that is what is happening in China, that is what will ultimately happen worldwide when Antichrist takes over.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Right now they are all doing what is right in their own eyes. When the rapture comes it will expose the false prophets, people will be outraged at having been defrauded by them and that is when all genuine Christians, the ones left behind after the rapture, will again be in one accord.

2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

This word "cloven" in Old Testament refers to the hooves of clean animals. It is one of the two requirements for an animal to be clean. It is typology that their walk has been impacted by the cross of Christ. Here is the only use of this word in the New Testament, it is unique to the book of Acts and indicates a unique agenda of the book of Acts. Luke is saying that their tongue has been impacted by the cross of Christ. Instead of everyone speaking what is right in their own opinion, they are bowing to Jesus Christ as Lord and letting His death and resurrection impact their speaking.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

English is another tongue, so is Chinese and Spanish. The fact that the New Testament has been translated into 1700 languages is a fulfillment of this reference to speaking in tongues.

Acts 2:5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven. 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. 7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans? 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? 9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia, 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God. 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

Luke's gospel presents Jesus as being descended from Adam. Prior to this each language represented a unique culture that had its own religion. Now for the first time in human history the gospel of grace and salvation is preached to the whole world as one unique path to the Father in heaven. The message is not that Greeks, or Romans or Egyptians are superior, or have the best religion. No, the message is that all are under sin, all have fallen short of the glory of God and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has shown us the only way to the Father is through the Cross of Jesus Christ.

The gospel of Jesus Christ includes following a pillar of fire and smoke

Acts 2:13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

This word "new wine" is very specific. You could be drunk on anything, why specifically would someone mention new wine? 50 days after the Feast of Shavuot is the Feast of New Wine. Shavuot is the feast of new wheat. Jesus ascended on Shavuot, not ten days before it, and when Acts said they spent many days in the upper room it is a reference to the fifty days until Pentecost. All Jews have to come to Jerusalem to celebrate Shavuot, the fact that the disciples were already in Jerusalem indicates they had come for Shavuot. The fact Jesus told them to remain indicates He was talking about after Shavuot.

It is very important we see that Pentecost was the Feast of New Wine because you can then compare this event with what Jesus said in the gospels about new wine being put into new wine skins. The Church is a "New Wine skin". This was the day that the New wine of the gospel was poured into new wine skins, the church.

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Peter takes the mocking seriously, the Bible does not record trivial, idle words. Every word is significant. He says they can't be drunk on new wine because it is the third hour of the day. That is 9am and that is the time that the Priests pour out the New wine as a drink offering to God for God to bless the harvest. Peter is saying they can't be drunk on the New Wine because no one has started to drink it yet, they still have to wait for the priests and God to bless it first. This word is even more significant because it shows that just like Jesus ascending to Heaven as the first fruits of the wheat harvest was a fulfillment of the shadow of Moses ascending the mountain, so also is this speaking the gospel of grace and salvation to the whole world in their tongue a fulfillment of God blessing the Spirit as the New Wine being poured out on all the earth.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

These are the last days. A day to the Lord is a thousand years. The last two thousand years are the "last days". So do not argue that there are no longer any prophets of God. Such a doctrine is foolish. The Lord said that we would be blessed if they persecuted us because that is how they treated the prophets of old. Paul said that there are many gifts but the one we should aspire to is prophecy. Peter here is saying that those who are filled with the Spirit will prophecy during these last two thousand years. If you can have a "false prophet" then surely you must have a real prophet. No one is going to be fooled by counterfeit money if there is not also genuine money.

19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

This is a reference to Exodus. The Nile river is turned to blood, indicating that the money financing the global economy will be filled with blood. We have discovered this, that global bankers are the fundamental reason we have so many wars. Then we also had a pillar of fire and smoke (or cloud) that Israel followed in the wilderness. We are seeing the same thing today, every since Caesar Nero decided to burn down half of Rome so he could buy up the land at a fraction of the cost. He controlled the fire department. The elites have learned that by controlling levers of power they can increase their wealth and power, not by serving the public, but by serving their own needs. Take a look at Minnesota, we have Federal money for child care. They used Somali refugees to make bogus childcare centers, collect that federal money, and give those in power a kickback. We have an expression, where there is smoke, there is fire. We have another expression, to "blow smoke". Look at the Media and politicians and people in powerful positions blowing smoke, trying to blind and distract us from seeing the 9 billion in fraud. As Christians we learn to discern the truth and follow the money, to uncover the fraud and corruption and evil. Jesus is raising up an army that can uncover the corruption and lies and throw the criminals out of the positions of power.

20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

Light becomes dark, good becomes evil, blessing becomes curse. This is what we have seen. In the UK ten people were convicted of hate crimes for speaking the truth concerning Brigette Macron. If you speak the truth and it makes someone look bad they can view that as "hate speech" and now speaking the the truth is a crime.

21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

The Gospel -- What shall we do?

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

This is similar to a presidential campaign. We have heard the words of Jesus, we saw the miracles, the signs and wonders which God did by Him, and we saw how evil the current rulers are who crucified a man who was healing the sick, and ultimately we saw Him raised from the dead, a testimony from God that this is the one He has chosen to be the ruler.

25 For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Moved by what? By temptation? By threats of violence? Blackmail? Jesus has dealt with all that, because He has risen from the dead we are no longer held in fear of dying. His blood washes us from sin and gives us a way to confess and repent and be cleansed of our sins. Finally, the cross can put to death our members on the earth, delivering us from the bonds of sin. His blood breaks our chains.

26 Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope: 27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

How do we know? Because Jesus rose from the dead that is why we have hope.

28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

Who could have guessed that going through the cross of Christ was the way of life? This is why it is the narrow road that few find. But the Lord has made known to us this way to the resurrection life.

29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

And that is why the apostle Paul talked about being in Christ. He said "I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me" and he also said "Christ in me, the hope of glory".

32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

This is the point of Pentecost, all the genuine, spirit filled believers are witnesses of Jesus Christ. Being a witness is evidence of being a Spirit filled believer.

33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

The Lord promised that if you are drinking from this fountain that out of your innermost being will flow rivers of living water. A river of living water flowing from your innermost being is evidence that you are saved.

34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

Who are the foes of Jesus Christ? It used to be difficult to discern between the wheat and the tares, but no more. Once the fruit, the seeds, can be seen it is obvious. One has black seeds and stands up straight, arrogantly. The other is bowed down in worship with golden seeds. Today it is easy to see the tares with their black seeds of death and arrogant attitude. They know no shame. Also we see them being gathered into bundles and we know that shortly they will be thrown into the fire.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

This is how everyone will know. Two thousand years later you will see a field full of wheat, full of believers with the little golden seeds of the word of God. You will see the river of living water and that is how you will know that God has made Jesus who the world crucified both Lord and Christ.

37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Good question, when you have been convicted of sin and realize that Jesus is Lord, what should you do?

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Repent means to turn around. You rejected Jesus previously, you dismissed Him, trivialized Him, whatever. Repent, magnify the Lord, see that the Lord is the only way to the Father. Then you need to be baptized, immersed into the triune God, into the Spirit, into the incarnated word of God. Into worship and prayer and the fellowship of the apostles.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

There you go, simply confessing that Jesus Christ is your Lord gives you access to these promises.

40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Three thousand souls reminds us of when Moses broke the ten commandments and three thousand were killed. That was 50 days after Shavuot, another piece of evidence that Pentecost is not Shavuot but rather the Feast of New Wine.

42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.

What should we do? Here are four things that we should do every week, continue steadfastly in:

1. The apostle's doctrine
2. The apostle's fellowship
3. Fellowship with believers
4. Prayer.

43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

This is a reverent fear of God who is mighty.

44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.

Now let's look at this as instructive to those who are left behind. If you are left behind what should you do? Repent and be baptized. That is be immersed in the apostle's doctrine, the apostle's fellowship, fellowship with believers and prayer. Repent for walking according to what was right in your own eyes. During the tribulation there will not be any excess, but the Lord will provide what you need. So if you do have any excess know that the Lord has given that to you to share with others. Remember the story about the guy who got to see both heaven and hell. In hell they were at a big banquet with plenty of food, but they could only access the food with their forks and the forks were so long they couldn't hold the fork and feed themselves. In heaven it was the same, only in heaven the people had learned how to feed each other.

46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Some people teach that God will save everyone. But here it is very clear, "such as should be saved". Man is made in the image of God, they should be saved, but Nephilim are hybreds, a mixture of fallen angel and human DNA, they should not be saved, they are not made in the image and likeness of God.

The Context for Peter's second message

Acts 3:1 Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour.

2 And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;

3 Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.

4 And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.

5 And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.

6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

This story reminds us of Jesus healing the paralytic man by the pool during Hanukah. The church age begins at Pentecost, at 9am, during the church age we are to continue steadfastly in those four things:

Here are four things that we should do every week, continue steadfastly in:

1. The apostle's doctrine
2. The apostle's fellowship
3. Fellowship with believers
4. Prayer.

This in turn will lead to those who are lame beggars in religion being healed.

7 And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.

8 And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God:

10 And they knew that it was he which sat for alms at the Beautiful gate of the temple: and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.

11 And as the lame man which was healed held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon's, greatly wondering.

This testimony in turn leads to praise and worship and another message from Peter.

Peter's message to the left behind (part 1)

Acts 3:12 And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

Throughout the church age there have been miracles and revivals. Many assume that they are tied to the spirituality of one man or other. This is the fundamental problem with those who are left behind, they look at men as though they have special power or holiness. That is why they have become spectators, they do not see that it wasn't the men who were special, it was Jesus Christ who is in each one of us that is special.

13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.

We have books of brothers and sisters who have done wonderful deeds during the church age, but it isn't them that God has glorified, but rather His Son Jesus who lives within them and lives within you.

14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Wow! Do you know why people hate Christians? It isn't because they heal the sick and do works of love and faith. It is because they are witnesses that the world killed the Prince of life. We are witnesses that they chose a murderer to be granted unto them.

16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

The man that is healed, he wasn't healed because he had faith in Peter, he was healed because he had faith in the name of Jesus Christ. If you get saved the second step is to obey the things that Jesus tells you to do. The very first thing He commands is to be baptized. The water doesn't save you, what saves you is the reality of being immersed into the triune God and into the fellowship, worship, and prayer. The Lord knows what ails us and He knows how to heal us. Obey and you too will be healed.

17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

Jesus said "forgive them for they know not what they do". In the previous chapter we were told that God saved those that should be saved. If you did this in ignorance, then by all means you should be forgiven. If you knew that Jesus Christ was the Son of God and you killed Him anyway, well then you should receive the punishment prepared for Satan and his angels. Some people don't understand, why would God create Satan? If it were not for Satan and his rebellion we would be ignorant of God's salvation.

18 But those things, which God before had shewed by the mouth of all his prophets, that Christ should suffer, he hath so fulfilled.

This is a crucial lesson, the Christ should suffer. Not only so but Paul tells us that all who would live godly in this perverted age will suffer too. This is a second fundamental error of those who are left behind, they think Christians get to have their cake and eat it too. They think if a Christian is suffering there is something wrong with them. On the contrary if you claim to be a Christian who is right with the Lord and you are not suffering, then something is wrong with that picture.

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

Do you know why the world is so fixated on entertainment and spends so much money and time trying to be entertained? Because they are desperate for a time of refreshing. They think going to Disneyland will give them a time of refreshing, but it doesn't. The movies, the clubs, the things they do for a time of refreshing, none of it satisfies.

Peter's message to the left behind (part 2)

20 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

If you are not eagerly awaiting the appearing of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, then it is evidence that your faith has grown cold. Now it can be worse, those that eat and drink with the drunken, they beat the watchmen who are saying that Jesus is about to return. That is when you truly know something is wrong, on the one hand they want to claim they are Christian but on the other they cannot tolerate anyone saying that the Lord Jesus Christ is about to be sent unto us.

22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

If you are left behind you will see this. You sill see many false prophets who are destroyed. The key point is that we must hear the Lord in everything, whatsoever He shall say unto you. Some people attack me because I have warned about economic collapse, coming famine, the collapse of the US dollar, etc. The Lord spoke to me to move out of NYC, so I did. The Lord spoke to me that the US dollar was going to collapse and move our retirement savings into silver, so I did. Peter does not limit what the Lord can say unto us, he says "whatsoever He shall say unto you".

24 Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days.

Many mistakenly think that Peter thought Jesus was going to return during his life because of what he is saying here. They don't understand that "these days" refers to "two days of creation". Jesus was crucified at the end of the 4th day, and to the Lord a thousand years is as one day. Peter was told in the gospels how he would die, he knew that his testimony would be sealed with his blood. These days refers to the two thousand years of the church age.

25 Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed. 26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
