Ephesians 1:15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

As a new Christian I was taught to pray this every day for a month.

In this blog I focus on the Bible. You can argue that the book of Jubilees is not part of the Bible. However, it is quoted in the Bible.

So then, you have to distinguish between "the word of God" and "the Covenant of God". Both are the word of God, one is our covenant, one is simply additional words. Think of a covenant as a last will and testament. Just because your dad wrote out a will doesn't mean that is all he ever spoke. The fact that Jubilees is quoted in the Bible confirms that it is the word of God.

Now in many covenants or contracts there will be an appendix. These documents are not part of the contract, but they do explain parts of the contract. The appendix will be referenced in the contract, just like Jubilees is referenced in the Bible. The Bible is our covenant with God, Jubilees helps explain parts of that covenant, particularly when the Lord is going to return. Hence it is relevant to this blog, but just remember, this is an appendix, not part of the covenant, but helps explain the covenant.

The Book of Jubilees: The Exact Timeline of the End of the World
For example, consider the Lord's word that we are to forgive 70x7 times, or 490 times. If the gospel of forgiveness goes to the four corners of the earth you can multiply 490 x 4 = 1960. That is the period of time for the gospel of forgiveness to go to the four corners of the earth. If you say that the destruction of Jerusalem is when the church was scattered to the four winds then you can add 1960 to 70 AD, and get 2030 to get an idea of when Armageddon will take place.

I say this because this matches Jubilees. They put all of human history into 120 jubilees. Jesus was crucified after the first two thirds. A jubilee is either 50 years or 49 + 1 depending on how you calculate it.

So 40 jubilees (a third of 120) is either 40x50 = 2,000 years add that to 32 AD and you get 2032 AD to arrive at the Millennial kingdom. Add 2,000 years to when the Jewish leaders committed the unforgivable sin and you may wind up at exactly 2030 AD, again, the likely time of Armageddon. Blaspheming the Holy Spirit is unforgivable, the age of grace provides a chance for people to repent of sins, but if you have not repented by the end of the age of Grace judgment will come. Or we can say 40x49+1, that is 1,961 years. Add that to 70 AD and we get 2031, Armageddon is the conclusion, and the next year is when we enter into the Jubilee year where everything we had lost is returned.

1 Kings 18:19 Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. 20 So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word. 22 Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the Lord; but Baal's prophets are four hundred and fifty men.

A shadow is a two dimensional representation of a three dimensional object. There are many shadows of the rapture and the events surrounding it, and each one doesn't give you the whole picture. You have to put all of the two dimensional representations together to get a full three dimensional representation.

According to Paul prior to the rapture you must have a great falling away known as "the apostasy". We see this in this shadow. First we have Elijah representing a true ministry of the word of God and we know it is true because this is the word of life that raises the dead to life. Then we have the prophets of Baal, these are the tele evangelists with the mega churches preaching the prosperity gospel. They were total charlatans, they rigged their pagan rituals to scam people into believing they could call fire from God down. In addition you have the compromised prophets, they eat at Jezebel's table. Think of churches that have FreeMasons on the board of directors giving them large donations to build big halls and have expensive audio visual equipment so that they can stream the messages and have big worship services.

Also look at the ratio here, counting Elijah we have 951 prophets, with only one of them being a true prophet of God.

Also notice the contrast in the message. Ahab, the king blames Elijah for troubling all Israel because he is praying for a drought, he is praying to cause the entire nation depending on their agricultural economy to repent and return to God. On the other hand Elijah blames Ahab for troubling all Israel with his sins and idolatry.

Now the rapture is like when Elijah calls down fire. At that point no one is stuck between two opinions, all the people will realize Elijah is the one speaking the word of truth. Then immediately after that event what happens, the prophets of Baal will be seized and killed because the people will realize they deceived them and led them astray and because of that they missed the rapture and will now go through the tribulation.

Does God give us a timeline for the end of the age?

Here is a Pdf summarizing what I have shared. If cv5 has suggestions for additions let me know. Anyone can download it, 13 pages long, it is easier to read than to go through the back and forth on this. However, I do include the verses that @Journey_man gave to support his "minister's" interpretation.

Luke 9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem. 54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did? 55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. 56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

When Elijah called down fire it consumed the offering, not the people. Jesus Christ is our burnt offering, when He was crucified on the cross He was consumed as a burnt offering, not to condemn people, but to save them.

There is a concept from the book of Ecclesiastes "that which has been is that which shall be". We call this "pattern is prophecy". According to this pattern Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead as a shadow of the rapture.

Here is how this pattern works:

1. Lazarus is depicted as the saints who are raptured. In the book of Luke we see Lazarus in the grave. We don't see him raised, rather Luke ends with the true worshippers of the Lord Jesus in the holy Sanctuary worshipping the Lord everyday. So the gospel of Luke takes us right up to the moment they are raptured.

2. Mark does not mention Lazarus at all, it begins with a massive revival as everyone is going out into the wilderness to see John the baptist. Why? What prompted them to do this? It was the rapture of Lazarus. Luke describes Jesus wearing a glistening robe when He is going to be crucified, that depicts the raptured saints. Mark says the robe is purple, that depicts those left behind in the tribulation.

3. According to John after Lazarus is raised Jesus and His disciples leave Bethany and then return six days before the Passover. But the second time, after the rapture, it will be six days before second Passover. According to the law Mary and Martha are unclean for seven days because they handled a dead body. According to 2nd Passover if you miss the first Passover because of being unclean due to a dead body you get to participate in 2nd Passover a month later. So it is theorized that Jesus left Bethany for one week and then returns. Now if we consider Passover to be equivalent to the battle of Armageddon where those who have refused to believe are "scourged and then crucified" six days before that day would give us the seven days of the 70th week, or 7 years.

It makes no sense to say that 2nd Passover is when the rapture takes place because why would you imply that the raptured saints missed the first Passover? The first Passover is what every genuine believer celebrates, it is depicted in the Lord's table. Paul said "he was crucified with Christ and it is no longer he that lives but Christ that lives in him". To say that the true believers abide in the death of Christ during the tribulation is true. To liken the rapture to being raised from the dead is also true.

Now consider those left behind who thought they would be raptured. What happened? They were defiled by a dead body, dead religion. Could be the Jewish religion that denied Jesus, could be many churches in Christianity that compose the apostasy, or it could even be Muslims and those in other religions who were defiled from receiving the first Passover by their dead religion.

4. Anyway, the rapture is what sets the stage for the triumphant return of Jesus Christ, and during this time He is examined as the Lamb of God. What is going to happen to those who are left behind but believe in the Lord? They too are part of the Body of Christ, part of Jesus Christ, the lamb of God. They too will be examined during the Passover week to see if they are truly faithful. They too will be arrested, convicted, scourged and crucified. In Philippians Paul talks about aspiring to attain to the outstanding resurrection. We go through death and life repeatedly as Christians with the ultimate goal of being able to attain to the outstanding resurrection, the rapture.

Now this also aligns with the Lord's word that "no one knows the day or hour" because in reality we don't know the day or hour that Lazarus was raised. We can argue that it was at least 13 days before Passover, other than that we don't know. One theory is that it was immediately before Nisan 1, the church age ends with the rapture and the next age begins.

Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

We use the term calling and invitation for vocation. The word vocation refers to your career or profession, but it includes the fact that you feel very suitable for this career. For example, I was in the Episcopalian church prior to being saved and after being saved I did not have the slightest interest in becoming a priest. That was not my calling. I have never felt suitable for being a pastor. But, writing this blog? This I feel I am very suitable for. I get up at 5, don't need an alarm and do this every day. It is like a magnet, give me five minutes of free time and I am here, considering the blog, praying about the blog, writing on the blog, etc.

2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

This is not a popular topic, on the contrary it is popular for Christians to rebuke and chastise me for doing this blog. I don't tell other Christians what they should be doing, nor do I critique their service to the Lord, but for some reason that is what Christians think they are called to do concerning this blog. In my opinion this is the research and development page for the Biblical doctrine of the rapture. I feel like Thomas Edison discovering 99 things that don't work for a filament for a lightbulb. But others see this as "trying to figure out the day and hour" of the rapture as though that is something akin to blasphemy and is on par with false prophets.

3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

If you have read this blog you will immediately see that it is not the typical "pre tribulation, post tribulation, mid tribulation" doctrinal debate. I don't care about pushing a doctrine. Instead my initial goal was to gather up every verse relevant to the rapture. I soon learned it was in the thousands. The principle that pattern is prophecy and that God tells us the end from the beginning, really opens the door for so many portions of the Bible. Then as the pieces were gathered together the next goal was to put them together the same way you would put a jigsaw puzzle together. This involves a lot of pieces that seem to fit but ultimately don't. The result is that you get humbled, rather than puffed up and you realize this labor should not damage the unity of the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

The church is the body of Christ and even though we have many different congregations and each one has a different focus, we should all be one in Christ. We should all also have one Spirit, so whether we are involved in a soup kitchen or evangelism or prison ministry, or whatever, it should all be one Spirit animating our ministry. And what is this "one hope of your calling"? I think it is clearly that when the Lord returns He says "well done thou good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of Your Lord". To me, that is what the rapture is. I don't believe anyone gets raptured without the Lord saying this. So if you don't think that the Lord would say to you "well done thou good and faithful servant" to all believers then it is foolish to think that all believers will be raptured. Instead I think many will repent when they miss the rapture and the Lord will give them a second chance, a "second passover".

5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

We all work off of the same faith, the same Bible. Baptism is an item of the faith. I think it is a joke when Christians try to downplay the significance of any of these seven ones. As Christians we are to start our Christian walk with baptism, it depicts putting of the old man and putting on the new man. It depicts "it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me". It depicts being buried in the likeness of Jesus' burial and being raised in the likeness of Jesus' resurrection to walk in newness of life in the new creation. Ultimately it depicts the church age in which all the believers abide in the death of Christ and then at the end of the church age they are raised in the rapture.

6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

Reprove them -- means to convict, refute, confute
  1. generally with a suggestion of shame of the person convicted
  2. by conviction to bring to the light, to expose
  1. to find fault with, correct
    1. by word
      1. to reprehend severely, chide, admonish, reprove
      2. to call to account, show one his fault, demand an explanation
    2. by deed
      1. to chasten, to punish
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.

This word "speak" means to affirm, maintain, or teach.

So you might accurately recount what happened and simply by telling the truth of what happened telling the story accurately is shameful.

2 Kings 3:16 And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches.

They thought the army was going to die from thirst and that the Lord had done this to them as judgment on them. But despite the negative thought about the Lord they sought out a prophet to get God's word. God wanted them to pray, to dig ditches that He could fill with water. There was no rain and yet God filled the ditches with water so everyone both man and beast were able to drink and be restored.

17 For thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts. 18 And this is but a light thing in the sight of the Lord: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.

But there is a second blessing as well. Not only is he going to give them water in this barren land, by doing so He will also deliver the enemy into their hand. They had misunderstood God. He didn't want to deliver them up to the enemy, on the contrary He wanted to be involved in the fight. He wants us to go to the Lord in prayer first, make sure that God is with you and you are with God.

19 And ye shall smite every fenced city, and every choice city, and shall fell every good tree, and stop all wells of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.

God is directing you in how to pray. We need to pray for water, we need to pray for the Lord's life supply otherwise we'll simply collapse and die. But we also need to pray about defeating the enemy, a thorough, complete and comprehensive defeat. Every fenced city that the enemy controls, all of their choice assets, every good tree that the evil birds roost in, and every well of water that the enemy needs. God was showing you how essential water is, without that we can do nothing. And every good piece of land with stones. Jesus Christ is the rock of ages, each of the believers are living stones. We need believers who are a testimony of the Living Christ in every good piece of land, every field, every company. Fortune 500 companies are good trees that allow evil birds to roost. Pray for them to all be cut down. Government grants are like wells of water, pray that they will all be stopped. Fenced cities and choice cities are like NYC and LA and Chicago which are filled with demonic laws, ordinances and run by those who hate the Lord Jesus Christ.

20 And it came to pass in the morning, when the meat offering was offered, that, behold, there came water by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

Edom is the twin brother of Jacob. We are people of the book, both Jacob and Edom are descended from Abraham. For us these are holy, sanctified stories, for Edom they are themes for evil, demonic movies and fictional books like Harry Potter, about magic and the occult. However, if we pray the media can be used to bring water. Movies can be used to expose and reprove and rebuke evil. "Spotlight" recounted the story of how the pedophile priests in the Catholic church were exposed. The Insider recounted the story of how the things done in secret by the cigarette companies were exposed. The Big Short exposed the criminality of the banks and financial industry during the mortgage meltdown.

21 And when all the Moabites heard that the kings were come up to fight against them, they gathered all that were able to put on armour, and upward, and stood in the border.

This is what is happening now. Everyone who is a US citizen is against election fraud and yet for some reason the elected officials are battling this, pretending they are standing up for human rights when in reality they are desperate to hold onto the fraud. Everyone is against drugs smuggled into the country killing 100k people a year and yet for some reason the elected officials got upset when drug smuggling boats were blown up trying to bring all those drugs into the country. Everyone is against human trafficking where girls and children are smuggled into the country and sold as slaves and prostitutes, and yet for some reason the elected officials thought stopping illegals from coming into the country was a human rights issue.

22 And they rose up early in the morning, and the sun shone upon the water, and the Moabites saw the water on the other side as red as blood: 23 And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one another: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil.

Have you noticed that all those who keep pushing these narratives about human rights think the majority of the US agrees with them. They think people actually agree with their "outrage" over the drug smugglers being killed, and protestors trying to harm ICE agents being killed, and shutting down the Somali "Learing" centers is racist, etc. They are about to be slaughtered at the upcoming election.

24 And when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and smote the Moabites, so that they fled before them: but they went forward smiting the Moabites, even in their country.

Think of the US, we have red and blue states and we have "swing states". To be smitten even in their own country would be like NY, California and Illinois voting to get rid of these evil, corrupt politicians.

we have had many prophetic warnings of suitcase nukes going off in the US at our cities. If a suitcase nuke goes off in lower manhattan there are at least 5 major electric substations in lower manhattan. If they hit ten cities around the US and each of these suitcase nukes is a two man team, they only need 20 people and besides the 30 or 40 city blocks taken out it will also cause the entire electric grid to go down in one hit. We know there are far more "sleeper cells" in the US than simply 20 people. With the power down the police will have to be out on the streets maintaining order, especially by big box stores. That makes them an easy target. My point is that chaos in the streets and a huge crisis like no electricity and a massive surprise attack from suitcase nukes is bad enough, but add to that sleeper cells whose job is to make things worse, and the police will have no choice but to have a full martial law with no one allowed on the streets. They shoot people on the streets and as a result people simply die in their homes for lack of food, water or medicine. This would be cities, not countryside, but even so, completely devastating.

Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

and, if not

Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Romans 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians chapter 6 talks about the armor of God and about being strong in the power of his might. Many young believers they want to be warriors, fighting the spiritual battle. But prior to coming to this point Paul shared a key point, a key concept that is a critical prerequisite. It is the first commandment with a promise. Honor your father and mother that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth. God our father is sovereign, He has given each one of us the father and mother that we need. It may be that your father and mother were sinners, all men are sinners, that should not seem strange to you. As a child you get to see first hand the harm in those sins, you also may see a curse on your family that is being handed down from one generation to the next. That curse can be broken by the blood of Jesus. Those sins are a warning to you, the damage it did to your parents it can do to you as well. On the other hand your parents taught you lessons, take those to heart. They may not want to go into detail about their particular failures, but they know what they are and they are teaching you how to avoid them. How to avoid things that will cause you to be a failure and how to avoid things that will shorten your life. Paul extends this to not just your parents but your boss. Anyone who is giving you orders and rebuking you for mistakes, take that as being from the Lord. Never assume it is "from the enemy". Rather, even if it is from the enemy know that the Lord allowed it, so then, ask the Lord why He allowed it. Because, until you learn this lesson you are not ready to put on the armor of God.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Isn't this interesting? The main reason we put on all the armor is so we can stand against, not the power, not the might, but the wiles. The devil is tricky, he is sneaky. When I was making geological maps in Nevada I wore special boots so that if a rattlesnake struck me the boots would protect me from the bite. A lot of Satan's attacks are sneak attacks. The armor changes your mindset. I used to have a motorcycle and when I would put on the helmet it would change my mindset, that is when you realize you are riding on something that could kill you or paralyze you. Much of this armor protects you whether or not you see the attack coming. Think of the feet shod with the gospel of peace. If you talk about prophecy being fulfilled with Psalm 83 war and Jeremiah 49 breaking the bow of Elam, then you will be attacked as a "war monger". So we don't simply preach that God's word is being fulfilled, but we also preach that God's ways are higher than ours and that all of these things cause people to turn to the Lord, repent of their sins and get saved. If your loins are girt about with truth then when you get attacked as being false, or a liar you will be fine. Too many are not speaking the word of God but their opinions. They are not girt about with the truth. Then if you are sensitive to your conscience, repenting of your errors, and have the breastplate of righteousness on, then when the attacks come you will be covered. Likewise with the helmet of salvation. You must have a renewed mind, a mind that is focused on the Lord's salvation, not general, but specific for you. But it is more than that, as you put on these items of your armor it gets your mind right. You realize I have to do these things, I must make sure my speaking is "girt about with the truth" because I realize I have stepped into the ring and will get attacked. I must put on the breastplate of righteousness because I know the enemy is looking at me, looking for an opening. And in any warfare solid footing is essential. Our solid footing is "the preparation of the gospel of peace". We are showing people what to do so that they will not have to go through the wrath of God.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

This is also a huge lesson. We aren't wrestling with people we disagree with. The problem in this world is not from "liberals" or from "progressives" or even from the "new agers". We are wrestling against spiritual forces in high places. They are principalities, powers, and rulers in high places. How do you wrestle with a spirit? The Lord said that His words are "spirit and life". You wrestle against darkness by shining a light. You wrestle against wickedness by being a testimony of righteousness and the Lord's salvation.

For example, Peter denied the Lord. Do we condemn him for that, or do we pray for his repentance because the body of Christ needs him? Paul was persecuting the church, do we pray for him to be crushed by the Lord or to be saved by the Lord? Think how much damage was done to the rulers of this darkness of this world by Paul being saved. James was the head of the Judaizers, the first damaging heresy to the church. Do we pray for him to be judged or for him to be converted? The book of James is the cure for anyone caught up in a cult. The repentance and conversion of these three brothers has done immeasurable harm to the Prince of darkness of the air. Not only so but these three mighty men of God have led the way for the rest of us to follow.

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

I used to play goalie in hockey. One of the jobs of the goalie is to call out the play for getting the puck out of your end. The minute my team would get the puck I would be calling out the play. They can't see all the people around them so they don't know which way to go. We had 3 numbers, 1, 2, and 3. Each one told them which way to go and it was much easier for me to see where everyone is. To me that was like "watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication". I might call out one number, but the other team moves to stop that, and so immediately I am switching the play. Then of course there is "praying with all prayer and supplication". This is like the post I made from 2 Kings 3.

2 Kings 3:16 And he said, Thus saith the Lord, Make this valley full of ditches.

We are digging ditches in the valley. We are fighting a battle, but first what we need is water to drink. Who would have thought that this water would lead to a massive, comprehensive and complete victory over the enemy? It caused confusion to the enemy and that led to them making a mistake. Prior to them digging those ditches they thought God was trying to destroy them, that is the attack of the enemy on our mind, this is why we need the helmet of salvation. Fortunately they had the good sense to go to the Lord and pray over this, get the leading, and this in turn led to salvation. After praying they dug ditches, that is the "preparation of the gospel of peace". Right now as we walk to and fro bringing the gospel to the nations we are "preparing" for the coming age of peace. Many want to wield the sword of the Spirit, but the Sword of the Spirit is "life" just like that water. Unless you are filled with life you can't wield the sword of the Spirit.

Ephesians 6:24 Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
