Someone wanted to know if they would be raptured and said "I try to live as righteous a life as possible".

Let's break that down, how possible is possible? What is the standard? That was set by Jesus Christ who committed no sin and yet chose to die to pay the price for those that have sinned. The Bible is clear, if you have violated any of God's laws and sinned you are guilty of all. Think of Humanity as a lump of cheese, some is really stinky, some involves the most heinous criminals imaginable, and other parts of this block is less stinky, but it is still the same block of cheese. The fact that you have sinned is proof that you are part of this block of cheese. Maybe you haven't killed someone, but if you had been put into the same situation as someone who did murder, same upbringing, same everything, the fact that you have sinned is an indication that you too would have done the same things. There are different kinds of sins as well, some are more prone to covet, or to lie, or to steal, or to kill. These laws are like a test to determine if something is holy, if you fail any one of the tests the answer is no, you are not holy. For example, consider a mineral that is gold colored. Is it gold? You have to test it, what is the density? Is it malleable? We have fool's gold, just because it looks like gold doesn't mean it is.

So here is what the New Testament says, the standard for righteousness was set by Jesus. When He died it wasn't for his sins, He was paying the price for your sins. When you sin you are selling yourself as a slave to sin. Jesus redemption freed you from that slavery. But that doesn't mean your job is to now "try to live as righteous as possible" in your own strength. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is our righteousness. Our job is not to try in our own strength, our job is to be "crucified with Christ" so that it is "no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me".

For example, we are all like a piece of wood. It might be rotten wood, or it might be a very fine hard wood. Either way wood rots, and it burns. We cannot be built into an eternal habitation of God as a piece of wood. But, if you submerge that wood into water that is saturated with silica the silica will replace the molecules of the wood one by one until you have "petrified wood". It still looks exactly the same, but now it is made of Jasper and can be built into the eternal habitation of God. That is why the Christian life begins with being baptized into the name (the person) of the father and the son and the Holy Spirit. You can immerse yourself into the word of God, into worship, into prayer, into fellowship and into study. If you immerse yourself into the triune God, the incarnated word of God, then on a daily basis you will be transformed into the image of likeness of God. Jesus Christ is the image and likeness of God, the promise is that it will be no longer I but Christ who lives in me.
 
Isaiah 49:25 But thus saith the Lord, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children. 26 And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the Lord am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

Everything that the watchmen are sharing concerning the signs of the Lord's coming are like this colt on which never man sat. For example, there are a lot of commentaries on the ten virgins, none of them relate it to the Revelation 12 sign until that sign was seen, in other words "until that sign was loosed". That means that Jesus is already riding into Jerusalem on these signs that never man saw and never man taught.

Gospel tracts will begin with something that draws a person into the discussion. For example "the purpose of man", or "Life at best is very brief, like the falling of a leaf", or "Will death solve your problems?".

Most people have considered things like what is their purpose, is life meaningless, and some have even come to the end of their rope considering the problems they are facing.

Each one of these questions will resonate with a lot of people. If you have a testimony concerning any of them, that would be a great testimony to share.

Every one of us has a testimony to share and it very likely can be boiled down to a single question.

What do you want?

I was 12 when I first met the Lord and there was something that I wanted. I heard the verse in church that Jesus was going to descend in the clouds in great glory. When I heard that I thought, that is what I want, I want to be there with Jesus to see that. As soon as I voiced that request in my head I immediately was reminded of the verse "ask and you shall receive" and realized I need to ask. As soon as I thought that a second word came to me "This time, do it". So I did. I went home, got on my knees and prayed "Lord, I want to see You when you come down in those clouds".

My thought was that this would be one of the biggest days in all of human history and to be a part of it, that would be huge. That would be something worth giving your life to.

Do you want to be healed?

My mom had a stroke and lost the ability to speak and was paralyzed on half her side. I was driving to the hospital and it was four hours away. As I drove I prayed, "Lord if it is your will, you can heal her". Immediately I heard a response "when was it ever not my will to heal?" I realized at that moment it is always the Lord's will to heal, the issue is He might be trying to get our attention, or He might be trying to get us to deal with something.

I arrive at the hospital, my Mom is unable to speak and is paralyzed. My two brothers are there and we discuss what we will need to now and decide to wait till the next day to decide. The next morning we come to the hospital and my Mom is fine, she can speak, she isn't paralyzed anymore but then my sister calls. She is all upset because she will never be able to speak normally to her mom again. I tell her she can speak normally to her mom right now and hand the phone to my mom. Up until that point the relationship between those two was very abnormal. The Lord healing my mom also healed her relationship with her daughter.

Why are you afraid, you of little faith?

The woman at the well goes to the well at noon because she doesn't want to see anyone else from the town when she gets water. It is the worst time of day to go, you don't just draw water in the heat of the day, you have to carry it back to the house in the heat of the day. Why does she do this? Perhaps she thinks the townspeople don't like her. I don't know. But after the Lord speaks to her she drops her water bucket, goes straight into town and tells them "come hear a man that told me all things ever I did". They don't mock her, they don't shun her, they come and hear the Lord and then they go and tell her that now they too believe, not just because of her testimony but because they have heard him themselves. Sometimes we think our failures and our shame are unique to us, we don't realize everyone is a sinner, all have fallen short of the glory of God, and everyone knows "there but for the grace of God go I".

Have you ever asked God, "why have you forsaken me?"

When I was much younger, a new Christian, I was at a Christian conference and I was staying in hospitality with three other brothers who were elders in the church. These brothers mocked and ridiculed me to the point I was totally miserable. They were extremely insulting towards me and I didn't have any clue why. So I am in a very sour mood, why am I here, why did I come, etc. I get to the meeting and on my chair there is a bag, a gift, with a note that it is for me. With a really sour attitude I pick it up, what is this? And put it on the floor. After the meeting I am at the lowest I have ever been and I am wondering what am I doing here, why is God putting me through this. I think God has forsaken me when I see that gift and the note that it is for me. I realize God hasn't forsaken me. I don't understand why these elders are treating me so bad, but at that moment I see that God is with me and He has not forsaken me. Later I learned I had inadvertently shined a light on something very corrupt in the church and they were desperate to stomp it out. But the Lord was with me, strengthening me to stand for the truth.

What is the kingdom of God like?

The kingdom of God is like a football team. Jesus is the coach, the other team is trying to push us around and if we follow our coaches instructions we can push them around, we can stand strong and we can defeat them. We are the Lions, the mighty, mighty lions. If you are faithful to the Lord everywhere you go people will want to know who you are. Even if you were someone that no other team would have drafted know this, the Lord chose you and He is no fool. He will come in great glory and there is no greater glory than a coach taking a bunch of no name players to the championship and winning the championship with them.

Ezra 3:1 And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

The first day of the seventh month is Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets

2 Then stood up Jeshua the son of Jozadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of the God of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of God.

This was the day that those who returned from captivity built the altar and began again to offer sacrifices.

3 And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto the Lord, even burnt offerings morning and evening.

This is another convergence with September 11, 2026. I have shared many prophecies concerning the Day of the Lord or the seventieth week, the last seven years beginning on September 11, 2026. This also converges with those prophecies because it indicates that the altar and sacrifices would be started on Rosh Hashanah or Feast of Trumpets.

4 They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;

In my understanding of the parable of the ten virgins we have had ten virgins from the Revelation 12 sign in 2017 to the Feast of Trumpets in 2026. However, they would be awaken with a midnight cry. According to this account they begin to offer the morning and evening sacrifices on the first day of the month. The sacrifice would be offered at 9:00 AM in the morning. That means the priests would begin to prepare at 6:00 AM, which is 11 PM in NYC. You can imagine within an hour of the priests preparing to sacrifice an animal on the temple mount in Jerusalem NYC and Miami where many, many Jews reside would hear it. That is "midnight". I am saying this event will be the midnight cry in the US, the country with the highest percentage of born again Christians. When the sacrifice is made it would be Midnight mountain time in the US. This would be huge news among Christians across the continental US and I am saying this is the midnight cry depicted in the parable of the ten virgins.

As for "no one knows the day or the hour", as far as I understand that refers to when the rapture is. I am not talking about the rapture. I am saying that the principle is "that which has been is that which shall be". There is a reason why the Jews began the sacrifices after returning from Babylon on Tishrei 1 (Rosh Hashanah which is also the Feast of Trumpets). That is the same day that the Kings of the line of David are all crowned. The first day of the year is the first day of their reign. Jesus Christ is the son of David. So the question is this, if the midnight cry takes place on September 11th, are you ready? Rosh Hashanah begins at sundown on September 11th, the sacrifices would begin the following morning in Jerusalem, but the midnight cry would come at Midnight on September 11th in the US.

This also mentions that they kept the Feast of Tabernacles, that is the wedding feast. This is the feast that the foolish virgins are locked out of and the wise virgins are able to enter into.

The "Closing Gate" (Neilah)
The final, climactic prayer service at the very end of Yom Kippur is called Neilah, which literally translates to "locking" or "closing the gate."
  • The Imagery: Jewish tradition imagines the spiritual gates of Heaven staying wide open throughout the High Holy Days to receive final prayers and repentance. As the sun sets on Yom Kippur, the Neilah service represents the final moments before those gates swing shut and your destiny for the upcoming year is officially sealed in the Book of Life
This is what Jesus refers to when the foolish virgins come to find that the gate has been closed and their fate is sealed. Neilah is the fifth and final prayer service. It is held at sundown on September 21 in Jerusalem.

5 And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both of the new moons, and of all the set feasts of the Lord that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto the Lord. 6 From the first day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the Lord. But the foundation of the temple of the Lord was not yet laid.

This is also important, the temple does not need to be built and will not be built prior to the dedication of the altar.
 
Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming?

This was the questions the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24 and the parable of the ten virgins continues Jesus' answer to these questions.

25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

There have been many interpretations of this parable. None of them tell you what the midnight cry is going to be which explains why the Lord says we must watch because we don’t know the day or the hour. That is not referring to the day and hour of the Lord’s return or of the rapture. It is referring to the day and hour of the midnight cry. That is the event we are to be ready for. Based on the parable, if you are not ready prior to the Midnight cry it is too late to get ready after it. These interpretations also do not tell us who is making this midnight cry that the bridegroom cometh. Some theorize that it is angels, but that makes no sense. Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and His return is an honor reserved for the saints of God. It is reasonable to say that the ones who are crying “the bridegroom cometh” are the friends of the bridegroom. John the Baptist described himself as “a friend of the bridegroom”. We are told in the Bible that Elijah must come first before the Lord comes, and that for those who could receive it John the Baptist was Elijah who is to come. Therefore it would align with scripture to say that the ones crying “the bridegroom cometh” are like John the Baptist and Elijah. Finally, the big question that has caused much debate is who are the ten virgins? Are they believers, unbelievers, or the church? Since the church is the bride and you would not lock the bride out of the wedding feast it does not make sense to say that the ten virgins represent the bride. Nor does it make sense to say that ten virgins represent God’s people who are always denoted with the number 12 (12 tribes, 12 apostles, 12 gates to the New Jerusalem). The parable says that five are foolish. It doesn’t say they are wicked. The Lord tells them “I don’t know you” but He doesn’t say “I never knew you”.

This is a new interpretation that connects the ten virgins to a countdown to the day of the Lord, a celestial sign in the heavens, the Feast of Trumpets, and perhaps the biggest prophecy concerning the end times that is still not fulfilled.

2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

This is the single most important point of the parable. Naturally we would want to know what is this midnight cry, but according to the parable you don’t need to worry about that, there will be those crying out to wake everyone up. No one in the parable misses this. You also don’t need to know the day and hour, there will be those who wake you up to let you know. But when you are woken what you need to do is be ready. That means you need to take oil with your lamps. The word of God is a lamp unto my feet. So you need to have oil with your word. Some argue that this means the foolish virgins are not saved. That doesn’t make sense, unbelievers with the word of God who have all gone out to meet the Lord Jesus.

When I was a new Christian I was in a group that followed the ministry of Watchman Nee closely. They would have messages in which ten brothers would take portions of a chapter of a Watchman Nee book and share that. I learned that in that group many of the brothers who wanted to be elders proved their worth by how well they could recite the approved ministry. Some of them were experts at parroting the approved ministry. I had no interest in any of that. I wanted to have my own experiences of the Lord, I wanted to get revelation from the Lord, I knew the approved ministry, I went to all the conferences and trainings, but I wasn’t interested in parroting it. I wanted to testify concerning my own testimony and be a witness to the things I had seen, not what some other brother had seen. I believe those experiences are the oil. Because what did Jesus say to the foolish “I don’t know you”. You are sharing what Chuck Missler shared, I know Chuck, I don’t know you.

6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

This is a critical verse in understanding the foolish. They assume they can borrow someone else’s oil. That is exactly what I saw brothers do in that church where I first got saved. They were borrowing the oil from Watchman Nee or some other minister of the word to share as their message. To me this confirms my theory. How many think that if they simply study what respected preachers taught on some part of the Bible that this is a “good message” full of “light”. It might be. But it isn’t your experience of the Lord, you are borrowing someone else’s experience. Some people think that this brother was a genuine preacher who taught the truth so if they teach what they taught then they too will be teaching the truth. The problem is this is foolish, yes, you are giving us a good book report from a good teacher of the word, but you yourself did not have this experience. When the Lord Jesus hears you speaking Chuck Missler’s message He is going to say “Chuck I know, but who are you, I don’t know you”.

9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Do you realize the Lord has given His Spirit to all of His believers, not just to a few. Not just to Chuck and Watchman Nee. We need the portion that is given to everyone. If you only share what those two brothers had then their might not be enough, you are robbing the body of Christ. We need every member to function in the Body of Christ and we need the portion given to every member.

10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

At this point the Lord has given us multiple references to the Feast of Trumpets. First of all the Feast of Trumpets takes place when the Sun is in Virgo, the virgin in the heavens. The Revelation 12 sign in 2017 took place over the Feast of Trumpets. At that time Virgo was clothed in the sun, the moon was at her feet, she had a crown of 12 stars and Jupiter which had been in her womb for 9 months came out. This sign including Jupiter in the womb for nine months had never taken place in the last two thousand years, it is the first time since John saw this sign that it happened. Second, on the Feast of Trumpets you need two witnesses to see the celestial sign of the new moon indicating a new month, and since it is on Rosh Hashanah a new year. They present their evidence to the Sanhedrin and they will confirm that it is indeed the new moon at which time people will begin to shout and blow trumpets. This happens at night. The Feast of Trumpets is the only Feast in which there is a “midnight cry”. The Revelation sign was on September 23, 2017. Since that date we have had nine Virgins (virgos clothed with the sun) and on September 11, 2026 we will have our tenth virgin. However, Jupiter, which depicts the “manchild” was born on September 23rd, 2017. So on September 23, 2026 Jupiter will be nine years old, however on September 11, 2026 which is the Feast of Trumpets Jupiter will still be eight years old. That is significant because Josiah was a king who was raised to the throne when he was eight. He is a type of the manchild. But that is not “the midnight cry”. Instead I am theorizing that on the Feast of Trumpets in 2026 Israel will dedicate the altar and begin to again offer the morning and evening sacrifice. The type of this was in Ezra, they started on Rosh Hashanah with the morning sacrifice which is 9 AM in Jerusalem. 9 AM in Jerusalem is midnight in the US. That is the biggest event concerning the end days that has still not been fulfilled. When that takes place it will wake up every single sleeping Christian. Are you ready?
 
Mark 12:28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all?

29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

The first commandment of all is not "to hate sin". The first commandment of all is to "love God". Likewise the second is to "Love the sinner".

Let's face it, your neighbor, like yourself is a sinner. In order to love God with all our strength we needed to be redeemed from sin. Jesus paid the price. If you are not washed from your sins you couldn't even think about loving God with all your strength. God is holy, for us to come into His presence we need to be washed of all our sins. So it is OK to hate sin because that is what separates you from God and prevents you from loving and serving God.

What Jesus did on the cross was an act of love toward us so that we could be reconciled to God. To love your neighbor as yourself, that would include acts of love similar to what Jesus did in paying the price for us to be saved and forgiven.

This chapter begins with a parable about evil men renting a vineyard who are trying to steal it from the Lord as an explanation of the Bible verse "the stone that the builders rejected has become the head of the corner". This story tells us they will kill Jesus and then God will send His army to destroy those evil men. But this portion here frames everything as acts of Love, God paying the price to redeem His wayward children back to Him. And Jesus adds that the second commandment is that we are to do likewise.

But here is what has always bothered me about this chapter. No landlord is going to act like the landlord in this chapter. If you send an employee to collect the rent and the tenant refuses you will evict them. If they kill some of your employees you will send the police. No one in their right mind after all of the mistreatment of their employees will think "Let me send my son". So why does God do this when He is omniscient? He knows they'll say "this is the heir, let's kill him"? Think about it, Nicodemus wouldn't have been saved if God was like us. The apostle Paul wouldn't have been saved if God was like us. Jesus said, he who has been forgiven much loves much.

We may think we are loving God with all our strength. OK, quick question, is there one person in your life who you would not want to get to heaven? Perhaps they sinned greatly against you? Perhaps you are 100% in the right to say they sinned and they wronged you? Well how is that person any different from Saul of Tarsus?

It seems to me that every one of us has gone through life with people who wronged us, mocked us, ridiculed us, cheated us, etc. God has given us these people because they need prayer, they need a lot of prayer, they need more prayer to get saved than maybe even you did. You know their names, you can't ever forget their names. So then are you praying for their salvation? Or do you have a root of bitterness growing within you?

Imagine you get to heaven and that person you wronged before getting saved is there to greet you because they had been praying for your salvation.

2026 Rapture 👉 Best Evidence I've Seen Yet​


[OK, I don't think the Feast of Trumpets is a "rapture date". I think that is the date of the midnight cry. It is the date that starts the 70th week. The day of the Lord is the day of His judgment and judgment must begin with the house of God. So judgement on the apostasy and the rapture will be the first item of judgment, but I expect that will be around Yom Kippur which is the tenth day. Still the exact timeline from Feast of Trumpets in 2026 to Apophis in 2029 is interesting.]

Jesus is the captain of the host.

He is going to lead us in victory over the armies of Antichrist and He is going to put Satan to an open shame. For example, in the beginning of the 20th century we had this tiny little ministry called "the Gideons" and a couple of men began to put bibles into hotels. When WW1 rolled around they were large enough to give new testaments to soldiers going off to war. Nothing like a man in a foxhole and a bible to yield fruit and the ministry grew and even became international. By WW2 it had grown significantly and once again handed bibles to people going to war and that is a great combination, a young man going off to war with a new testament in his pocket. Today a great majority of Gideons are veterans and that is how they first came to the ministry. Since that point the Gideons have handed out 2.6 billion bibles and New Testaments. Think of those as little seeds that will sprout during the tribulation and Antichrist reign. Even in a surveillance state with all the technology Satan is not going to know where those 2.6 billion bibles are. Compare the difference between Mark 13 and Luke 21

Luke 21:8 And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.

Luke 21 is about those who are raptured before the tribulation, hence the false prophets say "the time draweth near". Mark is to those in the tribulation so it is pointless to say "the time draweth near". This is like the Antichrist claiming to be the Messiah, rather than claiming the time draweth near for the Messiah to come.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.

In Mark the testimony is against the rulers and the kings. In Luke that is not the issue, the issue is "my name's sake". The persecution prior to the tribulation is because you are claiming that Jesus Christ is Lord and king. After the tribulation starts the claim that Jesus is Lord and king is also a testimony against the Antichrist kingdom.
 
Mark 13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.

"When ye shall see these things" refers to the things that He just said. The fig tree can refer to the UN being formed in 1945 and Israel being reformed in 1948 out of a ruling of the UN in 1947. OK, but that is just one leaf. Another leaf would be AI greatly increasing the false prophets and flooding the airwaves. Another would the wars and rumors of war that we have had since WW2 with CIA, MI5, Mossad, KGB, etc. all trying to manipulate people with propaganda. Another would be the attempt to censor people which also grew exponentially at the time of the Pandemic. Prior to that we were allowed to question authority, but then it was "if you question me you are questioning science" as though questioning science is some form of blasphemy that results in you being excommunicated from social media and losing your job. People were literally hated of all men, even family members, because they refused to get the shot. But then another sign is "you see the abomination of desolation standing where it ought not". That sign is the fire alarm going off telling you to "run!" But this indicates that not only has the nation of Israel been reformed, but the priesthood has been reformed, the oblations and sacrifices have been started again, which indicates that a red heifer has been burned and its ashes are being used in the purification rituals, and finally, that the holy sanctuary has been raised.

So then the timeline is this

UN is formed --> Israel is reformed --> Government intelligence agencies focus on deceit --> AI causes deceit to grow exponentially --> Pandemic justifies beating and hating anyone who goes against the official narrative --> Abomination of desolation is set up in the Holy Sanctuary [indicating that the precursors are huge warning signs: Red heifer, priesthood, dedication of the altar].

If you are paying attention to Israel you know they have the red heifers and they already burned one and collected its ashes, and that also means the priesthood has been reformed. Next step is to dedicate the altar which would involve both the oblations prior to the sacrifice and the sacrifice being resumed. According to the Old Testament precedent the altar is dedicated on Feast of Trumpets. There are many reasons to believe that this will happen this year. Feast of trumpets in 2026 begins at sunset on 9/11/2026 and the first sacrifice would be the following morning at 9 AM, September 12th, 2026 which would be midnight on 9/11 for the USA.

"No one knows the day or hour" (Matt. 24:36) sits in the same unbroken discourse as the virgins parable two verses later, and both echo the actual Yom Teruah procedure — watchmen scanning for the new moon, witnesses reporting to the Sanhedrin, an unpredictable middle-of-the-night announcement triggering the awakening cry. That gives the parable's central mechanic (unknown hour, sudden cry, urgent response) a concrete Jewish festal anchor rather than a generic wedding-custom explanation. Likewise with the reformation of Israel as a nation there was a midnight cry to the UN partition vote passed at 5:35 p.m. in NY, past midnight in Jerusalem on the 17th of Kislev.

The national layer: 1947 and the oil deadline
From there, the bikkurim calendar supplies the second half: firstfruits offerings, including olive oil, could be brought until Hanukkah (25 Kislev) per Mishnah Bikkurim 1:6, so Hanukkah's onset is the real "door closing" on the oil-offering season. The gap from the 1947 vote to that Hanukkah is eight days. In the parable they are told to go buy oil for themselves and they have eight days to do so, indicating a new beginning with the resurrected Christ that they needed to experience themselves.

Hanukkah itself as a second layer of virgin-parable imagery
Hanukkah is independently well-attested (2 Maccabees 10:6-8) as a displaced Sukkot — the same eight-day structure, the same joy, held two months late because the war made the real Sukkot impossible. That gives you lamps, oil supply, and a dedication/restoration theme all converging on the same season the parable's imagery already trades in. So Sukkot would be the first seven day wedding feast event with Leah and Hanukkah would be the second seven day wedding feast event with Rachel.

The Jacob/Rachel layer — Israel as the still-being-labored-for bride
Some argue that Rachel was the younger sister and should therefore depict the church. This is a very clear misunderstanding. The Gentile church is the older sister, our lineage dates back to Adam and Eve, while the Jews are the younger sister, their lineage dates back to Abraham. In the Old testament God is pursuing the Jews, the younger sister, just as Israel was pursuing Rachel. But after the crucifixion, resurrection and ascension the Spirit was poured out on Pentecost and the gospel went to the nations. That was God doing the switcheroo that even befuddled James and the other apostles. The church is depicted by Leah and the Jews depicted by Rachel. The Jews miss the first wedding celebration because they are caught up in a war, and that is why they have Hanukkah as a second Sukkot celebration. That is a fair description of what takes place during the tribulation with the pre tribulation rapture being Leah’s wedding feast and the Jews salvation as a nation at the end of the seven years being Rachel’s wedding feast.

So we have two Midnight cries.

For the Jews the midnight cry was in 1947 with the UN partition vote and with the church the midnight cry was in 2017 with the Revelation 12 sign. What is interesting is that prior to Jacob marrying Leah he worked for Laban for seven years. Seven years prior to 2026 is 2019. That was the year that the Pandemic began. The year begins on Rosh Hashanah, and we know that the first people to contract Covid19 contracted it after Rosh Hashanah. So then we have a seven year period based on a bug that looks like a frankenstein monster, as though it is a bunch of different bugs stitched together. According to Joel what happens as a result is something that never happened before in human history. He describes it as God declaring a sabbath rest. Businesses and travel around the globe were shut down. Joel says this sign is “nigh” to, or “adjacent” to the day of the Lord, which is a seven year period known as the 70th week. So just like Monday is adjacent to Tuesday I theorize that the 69th week of years is adjacent to the 70th week. The pandemic is a seven year warning to the day of the Lord and the marriage of the Lord to the church. This matches the seven year period that precedes Jacob marrying Leah.

Now this parable of the ten virgins is specifically about a midnight parade to the wedding feast. The virgins have torches that burn oil for light to light the way in the dark. Both Christian pastors and Jewish rabbis teach the word of God to light the way for both Christians and Jews to meet the Messiah. Just as we have apostate preachers in the church, there are also apostate preachers among the rabbis. Half have the oil from the word of God leading them to worship God in truth, and half don't. However, the first to be raptured will be the Gentile church, and the second wedding comes later. Again, both of these events can be seen in this one parable. But this gives us a new slant on Feast of Trumpets in 2026, this would equate to the UN partition vote. If the UN partition vote is the “midnight cry” for the Jews, what would be the “midnight cry” for the church? It must be the announcement of the resumption of oblations and sacrifices on the temple mount. If the Jews did something at 9 a.m. it would be Midnight in California. Imagine the response in the Christian world among all the pastors and preachers if they woke up to hear this had happened? Five would be ready to light their torches and five would be fumbling all over themselves.

Yes, that is standard doctrine.

Now that everyone is clear on all that let's look at the feasts.

The three fall feasts are these:

Feast of Trumpets, the literal Hebrew term is "day of shouting". This day of shouting begins with the Midnight cry which wakes everyone up. It is two witnesses who see a celestial sign, report this to the Sanhedrin, they then give the official proclamation that kicks off the midnight cry. What is the single biggest reason that most Christians who have gone out to meet the bridegroom, will say that we are not at the 70th week? If the fulfillment of the fig tree sprouting leaves didn't wake them up, if the beast system rising didn't wake them up, if the fulfillment of Psalm 83 war and Jeremiah 49 didn't wake them up. What are they waiting for? They understand that the sacrifices and oblations have to begin again on the temple mount. They think they'll see the construction of the temple as a warning, but what they don't realize is that will begin on the Feast of Trumpets when the altar is dedicated. You can see how they did this in Ezra. At 9 AM they will begin the sacrifices again, and three hours earlier the priests would have gone up to prepare and that would include the oblations. This event will wake up the ten virgins, they represent most of the Christians and with the two witnesses who spotted the celestial sign they make 12, a complete number representing all the genuine Christians.

This begins ten days which are supposed to be ten days of fasting and repentance. So yes, the celestial sign in 2017 is when we start counting the ten virgins waking up, one by one until we come to the Feast of Trumpets in 2026. At that point we have seen ten Virgo's that have been lit with the sun. Now we get the "midnight cry". When we see the Jews at 6am to 9am restarting the oblations and sacrifices on the temple mount the cry goes out to all the Christians, waking them up, and sure enough, that is midnight in the US.

These ten are a parade to the day of judgment, Yom Kippur. The very last opportunity to repent is at sundown as the day of Judgment begins and that is known as "the gate closing". This is what we see in the parable, the gate has closed to the wedding feast and the five foolish were locked out. We also see the judgement. They did not go to the Lord to buy the oil, had they done that He would have known them. Instead they tried to borrow the oil from others and when that didn't work they went out and bought it from others, but did not go to the Lord. The judgement is "He doesn't know them". Do they have oil? Now they do. Do they have a torch? Yes. Do they hope to go to the wedding feast of the Lord? Yes. But they were foolish, they thought all they had to do was parrot good teaching, simply borrow someone else's word, they didn't realize you need to go to the Lord and get a word from Him yourself.

Five days later is the Feast of Tabernacles which is the wedding feast.

Now this is how the 70th week must begin. What is the 70th week. It is 70x7 which is the period of forgiveness. This is when your period of grace expires and it is time for judgment. Peter says that "judgment must begin at the house of God". So the 70th week must begin with the judgment of the believers. The rapture is this judgment. Those that are taken are judged favorably, those left behind are also judged, but not favorably. But this is only the 484th opportunity to repent. According to the Lord you still have a few more years. During the tribulation you can repent, take a stand for the Lord and be beheaded.

You see Paul told us that he was called a fool, and that if we are going to be imitators of him we also will be "fools for Christ". The foolish virgins are not fools for Christ, instead they thought they were wise. They might have had priorities, they might have had demanding jobs, but the one thing that was not a priority to them was getting the oil, a relationship with Jesus where they could daily go to Him to get a supply of oil. It is very likely that the foolish virgins thought the wise virgins were fools. I say this because they thought they could simply borrow their oil when the time came. Also I say it because the Lord said "with what judgment you judge you shall be judged". Calling certain Christians fools is a judgment, and now we see them being judged with that judgment by the Lord. However, during the tribulation you get one last chance to be a fool for Christ. What do you think they will call people who refuse to take the mark and so cannot buy or sell and are being hunted down and beheaded?
