Harpazo

I think many who are talking about the rapture are ignoring the meaning of this word.

Definition
  1. to seize, carry off by force
  2. to seize on, claim for one's self eagerly
  3. to snatch out or away
Matthew 11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

To take it by force is this word Harpazo. So although Jesus comes and takes up by force in the rapture, prior to that we have taken the kingdom of heavens by force. What does this mean to "take the kingdom by force"? When I first got baptized it was very clear that I had taken a stand that everyone I knew at college disagreed with. This began a subtle and not so subtle attempts to dissuade me and when that wasn't possible then to discredit me. We had a prevailing gospel work on that campus and on April fool's of my senior year the school paper was completely about our ministry, mocking, ridiculing and trying to discredit us. It demonstrated that there was a major battle going on and we were taking the kingdom by force.

Matthew 13:19 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the evil one, and snatcheth away that which hath been sown in his heart. This is he that was sown by the way side.

The picture here is that the word has been sown, if it were to take root the person could be saved but Satan comes immediately to snatch it away before that could happen.

John 6:15 When Jesus therefore perceived that they would come and take him by force, to make him a king, he departed again into a mountain himself alone.

All of these verses depict the rapture. There is a spiritual warfare going on between those who are seizing hold of the kingdom and Satan who is trying to snatch that word away. We will perceive that they are coming to seize us by force. Not the lord but the forces of AntiChrist.

John 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

The Antichrist is the wolf. The rapture is not us fleeing from the wolf. That is the way the hireling will present it.

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

These are the raptured saints. Satan with the Antichrist and his army will try to pluck them out of the Lord's hand and those that are the Lords cannot be snatched out of His hand. I had an experience like this, I wrote a letter to the leadership of the church where I attended convicting them of sin. I knew that when I dropped that letter in the mailbox it was only a matter of days before I would be excommunicated. I mailed it on Tuesday and knew they would get it Friday and read it that evening. Saturday night an elder called the brother's house where I lived to tell them that we had a special meeting prior to the Lord's day meeting. No one told me but I overheard it. I figured this is where they would advise the church that I had been excommunicated and so I made sure I was there early and sitting in the front row. If they were going to excommunicate me they would do it to my face. Instead they announced that the leading elder had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and had entered the hospital on Friday. To me this is what harpazo means, this is what it means to harpazo the kingdom by harpazo.

Acts 8:39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

This is another picture of the rapture. We are here preaching the gospel. The eunuch is one of those left behind. But this is like the first string being pulled off the field (Philip) and the second string comes on (the eunuch going His way rejoicing).

Acts 23:10 And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.

Once again, the picture is that it looks like Satan and his minions are about to seize the saints by force and tear them apart when they get raptured.

2Corinthians 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

This is one aspect of the rapture, but don't ignore the other aspects. We come off the field victorious like Philip, we stand up to the threats and certain doom that Satan is proclaiming and our being snatched up is a glory to God.

1Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Paul chose this word or better yet God spoke this word because we have the rest of the NT to give us a full picture of this.

Jude 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

This is the picture of Lot being saved from Sodom. A mob had surrounded his house and wanted to rape the people in the house. He was pulled out of that city. So if you want to know when the rapture will be it will be when it looks like Paul might get ripped apart, it will be right after a mob surrounds your house wanting to rape the people inside.

Revelation 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

This is a picture of the rapture and Satan, the great red dragon "and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born."

So the picture is that these saints are standing for righteousness, their trust is fully in the Lord, they refuse to bow before Satan and Satan is looking to devour them when they get raptured, harpazo'd out. These ones sold all for the Kingdom because they saw it was a pearl of great worth, they took the kingdom by force, and as a result the Lord sees them as pearls of great worth and He also snatches them up.
 
My Experience -- We want to be on the field!

When I was a kid I was on a Pee Wee football team and the Lord keeps reminding me of that experience as being a roadmap to the tribulation. I haven't shared it till now because I thought I would be the only one to appreciate this but after this latest sharing by the Prophecy club I think I need to share this as something of a confirmation.

This team was undefeated for two years straight and won the national championship both years. I would liken my earlier Christian experience to the first year so I'll just skip to the 2nd year. I'm also going to skip to the last two games since that is where I think we are now.

The last game of the season was against another team that was undefeated so whoever won this game would win the conference. Prior to the game the coach moved me to middle linebacker and moved the kid who had played that position for two years to defensive end. He had scouted this team and saw they had one play that could score on us, it was an end around by a little tailback who was very fast. So we trained on this play. My job was to spot the formation and then call out that they were running the end around and then at the snap to blitz between the center and guard and disrupt the handoff.

Then in the middle of the week the coach flipped out on me saying I had blocked the wrong person on a play we ran (I hadn't) and then called off practice and told everyone to go home and study their playbook. In two years he had never done this, but this was doubling the pressure on us to know our assignments. The next day all the kids came up to me and asked if I had figured out who I was supposed to block, I told them the guy I had blocked. They all started moaning, we're gonna die. I think this is why the coach picked me for this assignment, he knew I could handle the pressure and would properly diagnose their play. Then our local paper printed an article about this game where the writer predicted our opponent would win "because they had bigger linemen". That was a shot directly at me. On our offensive and defensive fronts I was the only player on the first string who didn't have to worry about making weight. There is a weight limit in Pee Wee football and I was about 3 pounds under that limit. This really ticked me off, they are calling me the weak link and the reason we are going to lose (I think this story was planted by our coach). During the game we scored first. Then they had the ball and the first two plays were stopped short. Then they went to the formation for the end around so I called out "End around". The quarterback was visibly shaken, he looked to the sidelines and then said "Down". Again I yelled "End around" only louder and more animated. Again he seemed confused and didn't know what to do. He had called this play to go on 3 which means when he said "set" I again yelled out "end around" and pointed to the Defensive end and said it is coming your way. Likewise with Hut 1, Hut 2 and Hut 3. To me this whole process is like the watchmen all crying out that the Lord is coming. Anyway I broke through and tackled the tailback in the backfield. We went on to win that game in a blowout scoring 45 points. The first string was pulled out after the first quarter. Again this is like what we are seeing now with people who never shared before sharing their dreams and other posts on Youtube. At the end of the game we had two coaches who would always lift our coach on their shoulders, but this time I was right behind him and so I picked him up. I feel this is a picture of the raptured saints at the end of the age carrying the Lord on their shoulders.

But then we went to the national championship (we were in NY and that game was in Texas). This team was the best team we played over the two years. We won 12-0. It was the only game that season when the first string played the entire game. But this is my point, why would you pull the first string off the field before the big game? I feel like we have been trained, we are those who are taking the kingdom by force, we are not intimidated by the Antichrist, we want to be part of this battle!

This is the heart of where all eschatological debates over pre trib or mid trib or post trib miss the boat.

To me there will be Christians who are here during the tribulation, whether or not there has been a pre trib rapture and they will be hunted down and forced to take the mark or else be beheaded. Now is the time to settle it in your heart that you will not take that mark.

The Higher Committee of Human Fraternity was established from that vow to carry out this end-times religious peace pact. Luke 12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lamps burning; 36 and be ye yourselves like unto men looking for their lord, when he shall return from the marriage feast; that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him. 37 Blessed are those [p]servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.

This is the Lord's word to us, a charge concerning His second coming. So this can't be the marriage of the lamb He is talking about. The Marriage of the lamb will take place in the Father's house, why would Jesus return from the marriage feast if the feast is at his home. Second, why wouldn't these believers with their loins girded and their lamps burning, who are faithfully watching be at the wedding of the Lamb? Third, why would Jesus ignore His bride to make these servants a meal? This is the marriage of all the world religions to reject Jesus as Lord.

that, when he cometh and knocketh, they may straightway open unto him.

Sounds like the house of the Lord is locked up tight in the middle of a very dark night. Again, this is the Lord coming back from the final and ultimate rejection.

37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them sit down to meat, and shall come and serve them.

You are blessed because you weren't a part of that apostasy. You are blessed because you aren't asleep or drunk with the world's wine. You are blessed because unlike the rest of the world you see what is going on, you realize this is the dark night, and you are guarding the church, the house of the Lord. The hirelings have abandoned the flock to the wolves, but you are still there watching and fighting the good fight.

38 And if he shall come in the second watch, and if in the third, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

The biggest argument against those who are watching is "people have been saying this for years". Yep, this is not the first watch and it isn't the second watch, we are now in the third watch.

39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched, and not have left his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye also ready: for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.
 
Who are the ten righteous that could have kept judgement from falling on Sodom?

There are four churches in the book of Revelation where the Lord says

Thyatira
2:25 Nevertheless that which ye have, hold fast till I come

Sardis
3:3b If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Philadelphia
3:11a I come quickly:

Laodicea
20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

It appears that these are the four churches on the Earth at the time the Lord returns and the previous three represent all those saints who have died during the church age.

The seven in the ark with Noah represent the church with Jesus. Philadelphia is saved as a church.

Then there are three women that get pulled out of Sodom, Lot's wife and his two daughters. However, Lot's wife is turned to a pillar of salt, that to me must be a reference to Laodicea. The church in Laodicea means the church that ruled by the laity. Clearly Lot's wife was not fully committed to Lot being the head of the family.

Therefore the two daughters of Lot would be Thyatira and Sardis.

So then, if this is the analogy, who are the "ten righteous" that Abraham and the Lord agreed on? The world has been divided up into ten regions by the UN. I suspect these ten governments indicate the ten righteous needed to keep the Lord's judgement from falling.

Could this be:

1. Exposing the Biden Crime family and all the pedophiles.

3. Exposing the vaccine and Pandemic.

Isaiah 1:10- 17 God Has Had Enough

10 Hear the word of the Lord [rulers of Jerusalem], You rulers of [another] Sodom, Listen to the law and instruction of our God, You people of [another] Gomorrah. 11 “What are your multiplied sacrifices to Me [without your repentance]?” Says the Lord. “I have had enough of [your] burnt offerings of rams And the fat of well-fed cattle [without your obedience]; And I take no pleasure in the blood of bulls or lambs or goats [offered without repentance]. 12 “When you come to appear before Me, Who requires this of you, this trampling of My [temple] courts [by your sinful feet]? 13 “Do not bring worthless offerings again, [Your] incense is repulsive to Me; [Your] New Moon and Sabbath [observances], the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure wickedness [your sin, your injustice, your wrongdoing] and [the squalor of] the festive assembly. 14 “I hate [the hypocrisy of] your New Moon festivals and your appointed feasts. They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. 15 “So when you spread out your hands [in prayer, pleading for My help], I will hide My eyes from you; Yes, even though you offer many prayers, I will not be listening. Your hands are full of blood! 16 “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Get your evil deeds out of My sight. Stop doing evil, 17 Learn to do good. Seek justice, Rebuke the ruthless, Defend the fatherless, Plead for the [rights of the] widow [in court].

This requires some explanation because it appears they are offering sacrifices to God, so why is this so noxious to God? Let me share what I saw while teaching in Brooklyn. The school was shut down because it was so dangerous with crime and violence and they then reopened it but broke it into five small schools. That was when I came to the school, it was the second year of this brand new school. Our kids were performing at the very bottom of the city, so among inner city schools which as a whole are performing very poor our particular school was at the very bottom of this. However, our principal had a vision, she hired very good teachers and little by little we climbed the mountain. Over about ten years we moved from the bottom 25% of NYC to the top 25%. Some of our classes were scoring in the top 10%. So just understand the picture, the school is seeking justice, rebuking the ruthless, defending the fatherless and pleading the rights of the widow. Then they gave the school about $500,000 in new furniture. Basically they took our desks that did not have any issue with them and replaced them with triangle desks. These desks are useless unless you put them together with other desks. So by doing this they forced every teacher in every class to put two kids together at a single desk or better yet four kids together. This is like having a very successful track team and they come in and require that from now on you run your races as a three legged team. Now why would they do this? One reason is that the company that sold the $500,000 worth of furniture got a huge contract. No doubt we were not the only school to get the furniture, for all I know the contract could have been worth $500,000,000 or more for the city. No one doubts this was payback to a donor that helped the new mayor get elected. But why target a school that was doing as well as ours? Once again that was almost certainly the reason we were targeted. The wealthy go to the suburbs so their kids get a “better” education than the inner city, if you are showing that this does not have to be the case, that the inner city can outperform the suburb on a smaller budget then that will upset many wealthy and influential people. Now you can understand why God says He won’t be listening to these fat cats making many prayers when their hands are full of blood. Every single election they tell you how they will improve the schools and how bad the schools are and how shameful it is and yet it is 100% because of them. When I saw what they did with this furniture I calculated how much it would have cost for us to really improve our school. $60,000 would have made a huge difference to our after school tutoring program. That is around 1/8th what they spent on the furniture which no one wanted and which almost certainly was a hindrance to the kids education. Now let’s consider how evil this is. During the next election the mayor will be touting how much money he was able to direct to the schools, a huge cash infusion, tax dollars that only made the city poorer while making his donors richer. They will spare no expense to make sure the inner city schools do not outperform the suburbs.
 
Peace be with you

John 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord. 21 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 22 And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive anyone’s sins, their sins are forgiven; if you do not forgive them, they are not forgiven.”

I grew up with phrases like "chill out" and "relax". This is not what "Peace be with you" means. At this moment in time the Lord has completed 3 1/2 years of intense ministry, intense persecution, death and resurrection. There is nothing "chill" or "relax" in His ministry. Meanwhile His disciples have been trained and prepared for this moment. They are like a young NBA team sitting in the locker room before the playoffs begin. They are nervous and before they go out He says "Peace be with you". This means "you are ready", you have been prepared for this moment, you have everything you need.

Imagine Dwight Eisenhower on the eve of D day, he is going through his mind, has he forgotten anything, running through the list over and over again and the Lord comes to him and says "Peace be with you". The Lord is not saying "chill out", the Lord is saying everything has been done, everything is prepared, this is a go.

Look at what Jesus says "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." This is a pep talk right before the big game. This would be like Michael Jordan coming in and talking to the team, you guys are just as well prepared as I was. The Lord can see that this will be a 2,000 year struggle, He can see the apostolic age, He can see the seven golden lampstands with the persecution of Smyrna, the false prophets like Balaam, and the evil people like Jezebel. He knows the wolves will infiltrate the church. But He can also see the ministry of Paul, and John, and James. He can see that in addition to the Old Testament we will also get the New Testament. We will have everything we need, every blessing, every truth, every grace, every mercy. He knows that the sacrifice He has made is once for all and is sufficient for all of us to overcome the accuser of the brethren.

So, once again, "Peace be with you! Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you."
 
Isaiah 1:18-20 “Let Us Reason”

18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord. “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be like wool. 19 “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the best of the land; 20 But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Our high school began in the bottom 25% of NYC and based on demographics all the other schools with the same demographics and percent of free lunch are also in the bottom 25%. However, over the years our science students rose to the top 10% of NYC and closed in on the top 5%. If you looked at improvement they were clear and away #1. That was true if you looked at the last year or if you looked at the last two years or the last three years. Some schools have a good year one year and fall off the list the next.

How were we so successful? We were all tech savvy and used technology to the maximum. In my class I use Elearning extensively. The lessons I use with my class can be used with every class in the city with little or no cost. Everything we did could be adopted citywide. This isn’t some hypothetical program designed in an ivory tower, we use this in Brooklyn and it is proven to work. All we need to do is be willing and obedient. Dump this whole strategy of politicians using the school budget to pay back donors who don’t have the slightest concern for the kids but only to line their pockets with cash. The vision is clear, you can obey and be blessed, or you can refuse, rebel and be devoured by the sword. The kids we are teaching can be the salvation to the country and a blessing or you can refuse and the sword will devour your cities.

This principle goes all the way to the top with the Biden crime family and the deep state FBI players trying to manipulate our political landscape. We could completely shut down the drug trade in this country. Again, not hypothetical, follow the money. If the drug dealers can't launder their money and we seize the bills the whole operation goes bankrupt. The people at the bottom are teenagers without any training that will take the $5 or $10 bill from some drug addict. Trace the money to the places where they launder that money. We have cameras all over the cities. We can identify everyone working to launder that money. You arrest all those involved in the money laundering operation, even if they are only in jail for six months or a year they will have to replace them with poorly trained ones. Create a full on assault, you have drug addicts that you are giving cash to that they use to buy drugs. Those bills can be traced. Arrest everyone in these money laundering operations, get them replaced with novices and get people placed into that part of the operation. Put the full on press to catch the shipments of cash where they try to smuggle them out of the country. We have the NSA, we have the ability to catch all their digital communication. We can flip people and learn their codes and protocols. We have technology where we can identify every person in the operation. It is like pulling weeds. Even if you don't get them by the roots you keep at it. They will be forced to use up all reserves to keep their operation going and that is how you uproot it. If the police and sheriffs and FBI and ATF and DEA and NSA all coordinate they can easily smash these local gangs and drug trade. They don't do this because they are corrupt, every bit as corrupt as the Public school.
