Luke 23:24-38 The ruler of this world is losing all legitimacy

24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required. 25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

Let’s be clear, Jesus knew that if He was going to rescue us from the Satanic kingdom He would have to be delivered to their will. The impeachment trial that we witnessed is also about sedition and murder. They did not impeach someone in office, they impeached the citizens of the US and those who are truly guilty of sedition and murder (Antifa) they let go free. Because no one stood for righteousness this got worse and worse as we saw the DOJ weaponized and one phony trial after another waged against political opponents.

26 And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus. 27 And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

It seems so confusing, there is a great company of people who are lamenting Jesus being condemned to death, yet the voices of those shouting to crucify Him prevailed? How did this happen? Ten people show up to a Biden rally and 1,000,000 show up to a Trump rally and all they could hear is those ten people? How does this work? First, put up a fence and barbed wire and keep the 1,000,000 far enough away that you can’t hear them. Then bring in some guy who is clearly ANTIFA but claiming to be a Trump supporter and bring in another guy who looks like Chubaca and make sure they are the only ones everyone can hear.

28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. 29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck. 30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us. 31 For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

Look at how outrageous Herod, Pilate, the chief priests and the scribes behaved. Yet, the point is the horror will be much greater at the end of this age. For example, we have had many forest fires in the history of the US, but look at how horrifying they are when the forest is dried out. There has been drought, heat wave, and an infestation of bark beetles all that have caused the forest to dry out. As vehement as this fire was, it was all focused on one man, Jesus Christ. But at the end of the age it will be focused on the many, on the forest. They are choosing one who will suck all the life out of the forest so that when it does burn it is a raging inferno.

I think the most logical reason to vote for Biden was this hope that it would put an end to the rancor and division and we could go back to a more pleasant time of “Leave it to Beaver” and “The Andy Griffith Show”. That has obviously not happened and instead the forest fire is raging worse than ever. But what happens when all those standing on the front lines fighting the fire are taken away in the rapture? There is going to be a great tribulation.

32 And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

John Sullivan and “Chubaca” have also been caught up in this mess on January 6.

33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left. 34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

This is who they are crucifying the one who would have saved them, the one who sees the coming destruction and even in this moment is warning people. Today how many people could say this, “forgive them for they know not what they do”. There is a lot of screaming back and forth that people “don’t know what they are doing” but you don’t hear any forgiving, only condemning.

Notice how this account is different from both Matthew and Mark. There is no “why have you forsaken me?” that you see in Mark. This event is different for different people. For those who are raptured at the beginning of the Great tribulation their word is to “forgive all those who didn’t know what they were doing”. For those who are not raptured but are left behind their word is “why hast thou forsaken me?” In either case the good news is that you can be one with the Lord and He will be your savior. If you are not one with the Lord you are not going to be able to say “Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing”. And if you don’t know what you are doing and are left behind you can ask the Lord why and He will answer that prayer.

35 And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. 36 And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar, 37 And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

Instead of forgiveness all you hear is insults. There were many saying this word, thinking that somehow Trump was going to save himself on January 20th. We were told that this is why they needed 25,000 troops.

38 And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, This Is The King Of The Jews.

The entire world is watching what is going on. The rulers are not only losing all legitimacy in the US but also in the world. When Biden first took office the majority of Americans supported him. Today the polls say that number has decreased by about 40% from 56% support to 36% support. Personally I think the numbers are inflated and the real support for Biden is even lower. It depends on how you ask the question. If you asked me "do you support the president" the answer is yes. If you ask "do you want Biden to serve for another term" the answer is no. To me the second question is far more relevant and I think the support for that is less than 20%.

Luke 23:39-56 The ruler of this world is about to be cast out

39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

Jesus didn’t need to be saved, we did. This is what He was doing, He was saving us.

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

How is it that he is able to see this and Herod, Pilate and the chief priests weren’t? I applaud him, he is admitting that entering the capitol building and whatever he did there was wrong. Be warned, you can believe in the Lord but follow according to your own idea rather than according to His speaking.

42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. 44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

That is pretty weird. We saw some people on the West coast at mid day and the sun was darkened due to the fires. They described it as “apocalyptic”. A solar eclipse only lasts for a minute or so, this was three hours. The sun being darkened for three hours is not a solar eclipse with the moon, something else must be blocking the sun.

45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

This age began with the veil of the temple being rent. It signifies the flesh being rent so that the way to the Holy of Holies would be opened to us. This is what the Lord had to go through in order to open the way for us to meet with God. Jesus is the way, no man cometh to the Father but by Him. We have also learned that the ark of the covenant was hidden beneath where Jesus was crucified. This earthquake caused a fissure to go down from the cross to where the ark was and blood dripped from the cross onto the mercy seat.

46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

It seems trivial to me to hear anyone claiming that they are in the right and that others have wronged them after watching the way in which Jesus was crucified.

47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man. 48 And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

Jesus didn’t just rend the veil to the temple, it is as though all of flesh was torn in two. You have those who are vehemently railing against him on one side, and those who smite their breast in lament on the other. One thief is mocking, the other is believing. Pilate is doing whatever the loudest people in the mob shout, whereas the centurion can see this was a righteous man.

49 And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things. 50 And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just: 51 (The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them) ; he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

So although the chief priests and scribes really bear a lot of judgement here, not all do. There are still good men and just men who were counselors of the people.

52 This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. 53 And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid. 54 And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on. 55 And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid. 56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Once again we can see this is the thing, Jesus is Lord. That is what this age is about. That is why the Satanic kingdom has become so riled up and vehement. The ruler of this world is about to be cast out. You get to choose which one you want, there is still time, but the opportunity to choose will soon be over.

Flypaper and the night watchman's pillow

There are times in the Bible that God told people "when". So I was wondering why is it that God has set it up so that "no one knows the day or the hour"? After all He could have set it up so that we did know.

God does tell us what. What is the judgment, what is the sin, what is the apostasy, what is the purpose.

God also tells us where. Where will the judgment fall.

God tells us who. Who will be saved, who will be condemned, who will be raptured, who will be left behind.

God tells us why. Why would someone be taken, why would someone be left, why would someone be saved and why would someone be condemned.

God has told us all these things and I have brought this out in this blog in a multitude of verses from both the OT and the NT.

In fact, God even tells us what He doesn't tell us which is "the day and the hour". So why is that?

What God treasures is faith. What God despises is unbelief. We are told that there will be many coming in His name claiming to be "the Messiah", the "anointed" prophet. How do unbelievers confirm that someone is truly a prophet or prove that they aren't? Does their prophecy come true. If someone had said the World Trade Center will be taken down by airplanes on 9/11 and then it happened everyone would say they were a prophet. However, the ones who knew about this plan were the ones who executed it. So it is the perfect way for the antichrist to deceive people.

The warning we are given concerning false prophets deceiving us is that they will claim to be the Christ, the Anointed prophet, and that they will tell us to follow them. It stands to reason that the people who fall for this deceit would do so because some "prophecies" that this deceiver gave came true as they said. So then they will violate the "no one knows the day or the hour" and that should be a warning to us.

So then the very thing that an unbeliever will require in order to follow you and be deceived is the very thing the Lord says He will not give you. So the first point is that "not knowing the day or the hour" protects us from being deceived.

The second point is that it protects the Lord from unbelievers. To me this is like flypaper. If you are not familiar with this it is very sticky paper, they hang it from the ceiling and flies will land on it and get stuck. Think of all these cult leaders with their claim to know the day of the Lord's return as fly paper to catch all the unbelievers who are not seeking the Lord and do not love the Lord. The reason so many are captivated by this is because they don't love the Lord. Their thought is if I know the day that the rapture and judgment take place I can plan appropriately. Kind of like the guy who wants to wait for his death bed to repent of sins and turn to the Lord. After all who quotes this verse the most? Those who are using it as an excuse to not watch for the Lord's coming. Every time the Lord said this His point was that since we don't know the day or the hour we have to watch. Those that don't love the Lord use this verse to say that since we can't know the day or the hour it is pointless to watch. The believers are the night watchmen. Some take their jobs seriously and others bring a pillow to work. This verse is used by them as their pillow.

So, you want the keys to the kingdom

The Lord gave Peter the keys to the kingdom and then Peter denied the Lord three times. You might think these two things are unrelated. But consider this, the keys unlock doors that are locked. Think of all those who are left behind, the door is locked to them. Peter has keys to unlock those doors because he also went through the same thing. He also was locked out and he also had to seek the Lord to get the key to open that door.

Perhaps you were in a cult and you think because of that you are locked out of the kingdom. James was the head of the "Judaizer", the cult of the "Concision". His epistle is the keys to unlock that door so that you can enter into the kingdom.

Perhaps you have sinned and broken the ten commandments to the extent that you feel you cannot be saved. Paul was there when they stoned Stephen. He was involved in persecuting the saints. Not simply ridiculing, insulting and mocking. But arresting, convicting and seeing them executed. His epistles unlock the door to the kingdom for those who are less than the least of all saints.

Mark quit and went home during a missionary trip with Paul. As a result Paul refused to bring him on the next missionary trip. Ultimately he became the spiritual son of Peter. The Gospel according to Mark gives us the keys to open the doors to all those who quit.

Your failure leads you to confession, repentance and seeking the Lord. Through that experience you will get grace and revelation. That in turn becomes a ministry that you can comfort others with the same comfort that you received. That is the key that opens the locked door to those who think they are locked out of the Kingdom. If you understand that then it becomes much easier for you to give thanks for all things.

When something happens to you that you feel there is no way to give thanks for then follow these three steps:

1. Take it to the Lord. Say "Lord, this never would have happened had you not allowed it, so open my eyes to see why you allowed this". That opens the door for Him to give you correction. You will discover that the Lord did speak to you and you ignored Him, had you not ignored Him it would not have happened. That helps you in the future to hear the Lord speaking and to not ignore Him.

2. The Lord will also speak encouragement. Perhaps what you see as a very bad experience gives the Lord the opportunity to show you words of grace, of comfort, of encouragement for the ways in which you are obeying Him. This will encourage you to obey the Lord even more and to follow Him even more.

3. After dealing with you, after correcting and encouraging you, He will then deal with the situation. If you have been wronged you will discover that "vengeance is mine, I will repay". In this way you will learn that all things work together for good to those that love God. This experience that you thought was terrible and that you could never forgive has instead turned out to strengthen your faith in the Lord, improves your ability to listen to the Spirit, and fills you with a reverent awe for the Lord on the throne.

Another example of the Apostasy

The Bible clearly tells us to be baptized. But the apostasy wants to do away with that word, some people don't want to get dunked.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

According to some there is no need to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins because Jesus death already paid the price for sins. Jesus blood will cleanse you from all your sins, but you have to repent and you also need to be baptized. Our baptism is likened to Noah's ark going through the flood. According to Genesis 6:14 the ark was pitched within and without with pitch. When you are baptized your are being dipped within and without into the triune God. When the flood came if you were not in the ark you were destroyed. Yes the judgement came because of sin.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

You don't have to be an adulterer, simply have your mind set on adultery day and night.

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

You will be judged for your thoughts. Are you playing Grand Theft Auto all day, well then your thoughts are on stealing and violence all day. Are you watching pornography, then your have committed fornication and adultery in your heart.

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

How do we know if you have received the gospel? You were baptized. That is what it means to receive the work that Jesus did. You obey His command and the first command is to be baptized.

Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

This case demonstrates that baptism was a critical component of receiving the work that Jesus did on the cross.

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

If you have not been baptized into Jesus Christ you have not been baptized into His death, your flesh is still ruling and reigning. You can cleanse your sins in the blood but to solve the problem you need to put to death your members and that involves obeying Jesus and that starts with being immersed into the triune God.

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

We are supposed to walk in newness of life. That only happens if we are immersed into Jesus death, burial and resurrection. That only happens if you obey the Lord and walk by faith to obey His commands.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

You must be baptized to enter into the body of Christ, and to drink of the one Spirit. Salvation doesn't just mean that 20 years ago you had your sins forgiven, it means that you walk in newness of life, that you are in the Body of Christ, that you drink of one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

This is what it means to be a Christian, when people see you they see you wearing Christ. You have to put on clothes daily. This is not a once for all thing.

1 Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

Baptism is a figure, and it saves us. It is not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, it is you responding to the Lord's work of redemption out of good conscience, saying that Jesus is Lord because you believe He rose from the dead.

Wars and Rumors of War

The biggest sign of the Lord's coming, first and foremost, is "wars and rumors of war".

WW1 and WW2 are two big signs, then you have rumors of war. The US entered the Vietnam war over a false flag event, a "rumor of war". Likewise, 911 was blamed on Al Qaeda, again a rumor of war that is bogus.

So when 9/11 came along we had "Wars and Rumors of War" fulfilled.

Gird yourself with the truth

Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

This word "disputations" is used by Paul to refer to the gift of discernment. However, we are told not to use this gift like a knife to attack weaker brothers and sisters in the faith. Think of a lawyer using the gift of discernment to get to the truth. That is a gift. But then you have lawyers using their skill at destroying a witness, that is what we are forbidden from doing.

2 For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.

This chapter is not about vegetarians, it is simply using that as an example. For example, some people are not afraid to listen to all the various witnesses on youtube with their channels and podcasts. They trust they can discern the liars and cheats and filter those out. Others only trust the approved channels like MSNBC and NPR. Their power of discernment is weak so they trust the "experts" to tell them what is approved and what is not approved.

3 Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.

This is where we are today. Those that listen to Bannon and Alex Jones tend to despise those that trust MSNBC and NPR. Meanwhile those who are listening to CNN, MSNBC and NPR are judging those that are listening to the "right wing" media. A good example is a "pastor" telling people it is not Christian to vote for Trump or for Biden.

4 Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.

This is the key principle. This verse is not justification for voting for either one. So don't read it that way. What this says is when you are voting you need to do that in a way that you will be able to stand before the Lord at the judgement seat. For example, did you pray, ask the Lord to lead you, tried and tested the spirits, and then voted accordingly? If so, you will be able to stand before the Lord.

5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

This is the ten commandments. In the ten commandments we are told to keep the Sabbath holy. So you can see how one would interpret that to mean we esteem one day above another. But suppose you believe based on the NT that we are to keep every day holy? You could certainly see how another man could esteem every day alike and still be faithful to the commands of God. Now apply this to politics. One person can esteem one policy above another. Perhaps abortion is a make or break issue because thou shalt not kill applies to babies. But another person thinks every policy is equal because unemployment leads to higher suicide and deaths and all lives are equally important. You see both approaches can be faithful to the law of God. Afghanistan and our withdrawal may seem like a much smaller issue than abortion and yet if you think all lives are important you would consider that as well. The economy, war, abortion, for one person they esteem them equally important, to another they have a priority as to which is the most important.

6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

Do it to the Lord. The fellowship of the apostles is that it is not necessary for us all to agree on these principals. Suppose someone lost a son in Afghanistan, maybe that is their number one issue. Perhaps someone else has a child that could be drafted into WW3 and that is their number one issue. Then you have those for whom 60 million dead babies is their number one issue. They don't have to agree. Just do that to the Lord.

7 For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.

When that person died in Afghanistan, we were all affected. The same thing with WW3, we will all be affected. And the same thing with those dead babies, we are all affected.

8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

This is the attitude we need. Perhaps one candidate will lead to life and one will lead to death. Either way we are the Lord's. If the country chooses a candidate that leads to death then pray that they repent and get saved prior to their death. WW2 had a big impact on people receiving the Lord and getting saved. No reason to think WW3 won't have the same effect. Likewise if the country chooses a candidate that leads to life then be on the front lines bringing people to the Lord. What is the point of the country being blessed so that they have the freedom to speak the word of God if you aren't speaking the word of God?

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

Leave it up to the Lord, whether it is death or life, either way Jesus is still the Lord.

10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

This is what is really important, why are you judging your brother or sister? Why are you setting them at nought? Chanting FJB? Calling 75 million Americans who voted for Trump "domestic terrorists"?

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

James says that a spring of water cannot be both salt water and fresh. You can't be cursing man and then turn around and bless God. If you say "Jesus is Lord" then that means He is Lord, even of the elections and the outcomes and the candidates.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Instead of demanding that others give you an account of why they are doing what they are doing, why don't you focus on giving an account of what you are doing to God.

13 Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.

These disputations are OK as long as you aren't trying to trip each other up.

14 I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean.

If someone feels that Trump is unclean then he is unclean to them. If someone feels that Biden is unclean then he is unclean to them.

15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

This debate over these two candidates is not the gospel. It isn't equivalent to amazing grace, to the old rugged cross. I think it is crystal clear that some are grieved with believers who are voting for one or the other candidate. Are you going to try and destroy someone that Jesus Christ died to save over that?

16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of:

When a Christian pushes this narrative it opens the door for your good to be evil spoken of. When you work for a large corporation you are not allowed to speak to the press on behalf of that company unless they tell you to. The same is true of the Lord. Has the Lord said that He endorses one candidate or the other? If not why are you pretending to speak on His behalf. That is what false prophets do.

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

You may say "I'm a Christian and I'm speaking on my behalf". Really, because being a Christian is about righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

18 For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men.

Instead of focusing on who is and who is not acceptable to you, how about focusing on how you can be acceptable to God and approved of men.

Not this Year & Convicted Felon 06/03/2024

I have been watching for these prophecies on a daily basis for months if not years. I have come to the conclusion that there will be a cataclysmic event (the rapture and the earthquake) that triggers the collapse of the dollar. This brother does not believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, but he does believe there will be a cataclysmic event hit the US and I don't think it is a nuclear war (could be wrong) because I think the whole world will know this is God that does it, not man. However, I suspect that when the US is down then the enemies will strike as they are cowards and vultures. So the attack from the enemy will come shortly after "the strong man" pushes out the pillars and causes a collapse of their temple to Baal.

John 10:28 has 3 conditions:

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

1. You must hear the Lord's voice

2. The Lord must know you

3. You must follow the Lord.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. We have to hear the word of God so that it becomes faith in us. Second, we must have a relationship with the Lord. There are people who will think they are saved but the Lord will say "I never knew you". The Lord also says this to the foolish virgins who don't have oil in their lamp. When you spend time with the Lord every day He will not be able to say He doesn't know you and your vessel will be filled with oil. Finally, you must follow the Lord. That means take up your cross and follow Him. It means when He says "go and do likewise" about the story of the Good samaritan that you go and do likewise.

Only after those three conditions are met does it say "and I give unto them eternal life"
