This is hilarious

Jonah 3:1 And the word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time, saying, 2 Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee. 3 So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.

God tells Jonah to go to Nineveh the first time and instead he tries running away. As a result there is a great storm, the sailors are forced to throw him overboard, he is swallowed by a a great fish that takes him where God wants to take him. He is in the belly of the fish for three days which he describes as going through hell. He is then vomited up on the beach. And now the word of the Lord comes the second time to go to Ninevah! You want to argue with God, this is what it is like. No way Jonah wants to go through that again, so this time Jonah goes to Nineveh. People call him the reluctant prophet, my guess is he is the typical prophet.
 
The proper response to God's word

Jonah 3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. 5 So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 6 For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 7 And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: 8 But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. 9 Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? 10 And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.

Jesus said to repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. This is the proper response. But the problem is that we still have sin and soon it will grow up and people will say this is all baloney, nothing happens, and their heart will be hardened. They will mock and scoff at God's word and about 400 years later God will have no choice but to overthrow the city like Sodom and Gomorrah.
 
Country Club churches

James 2:1 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.

I view James as the book that exposes cult like thinking that we saw with the judaizers. However, he is really warning about all the temptations to leave the narrow way that leads to life. His warnings are particularly focused on churches.

2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment; 3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

There are many "country club" churches which are like this. You can't tell from the sermon, rather you can tell because they insulate themselves from the poor. I remember when the whole country was arguing to defund the police and even replace them with social workers. I said the people living in the inner city don't want to defund the police. I was living in the inner city, the church I met at was an excellent representation of the inner city. No one wanted to defund the police. Well I experienced withering attack, not from people in Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx but from people living in Vermont and other areas that had insulated themselves from the poor. Their hypocrisy was fully exposed when a couple of busloads of illegal immigrants (another one of the banners they carried in their social justice warrior talk) was sent to Martha's Vineyard. Wow, almost overnight they expelled them and sent them to a military base on the mainland.

5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?

All that talk was really oppression. Taking away the police from the poor is oppression. Demanding that the border be opened to illegal aliens as long as they don't live in our neighborhood is oppression of the poor. Those immigrants take jobs that the poor would do. They are paid cash so they don't pay taxes, they don't get benefits, if they complain they are deported, and they will pack ten people into an apartment meant for three. Ultimately all the costs are born by the local governments which in turn means the taxpayers. The business owner (the rich) gets workers who don't complain for half price. But it is the poor taxpayer who pays for this.

7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?

Think of what has happened to the US. In 400 years we have gone from a "Christian nation" to one where you cannot even mention the name of Jesus Christ.

8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well: 9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors. 10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

What James has just done is to convict every single country club church. Obviously this is even broader than that and will cause every Christian to examine themselves.

I remember attending a yearly event at a church for multiple years and each year the pastor there would remind everyone that church needs to be more of a hospital for sinners and less of a country club for saints.
 
James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

Here is another way in which we depart from the narrow way that leads to life. We are judgmental and legalistic. We talk about justice but not about mercy. Yes, we are to call sin, sin. Yes, God is righteous, a God of justice. But we were saved through mercy, not of us, it was all of God. Charlie Kirk is an excellent example of this. He called sin, sin. He talked about justice and righteousness. But he showed people mercy. He went onto campuses, put up a big sign that said "Prove me wrong" and asked for those who disagreed with him to speak. He gave them the microphone, he gave them air time on his show and he read their emails. Most of the time disagreement is simply misunderstanding. It allowed him to address the misunderstandings and to correct his own speech so that the mercy shown through.

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

A lot of people agreed with Charlie but didn't want to go onto campus, calling them socialist indoctrination centers. But if you take that attitude no one will be saved. Charlie was able to impact youth from all over the world.

15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Nothing wrong with a soup kitchen. But we need to remember, God warned of a famine for the word of God. Those kids on the campuses were destitute of the word of God. He was willing to go onto those campuses and feed them when no one else was.

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

If you are a conservative, evangelical Christian, but if you keep that faith to yourself you will abide alone. I get it, going into a campus to speak and be mocked and ridiculed and scoffed and even assassinated is certainly motivating to many to avoid doing that. But unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies it abides alone, but if it does die it brings forth much fruit.

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

I went to the Charlie Kirk memorial in the State Farm arena. It was standing room only. They said they had 100,000 people there. It was a testimony to Charlie's faith. The whole world could see his faith. What about you? I was sitting up in the nosebleed section looking down on everyone and thought seven of these arenas would be 700k people. I was able to visualize how many people had visited this blog. It is a lot fewer people than Charlie spoke to with his podcast, he reached millions. But imagine if each one of us were speaking. Even if there are only 500 million Christians and by all accounts there are more, we would rock the world. 16 x 500 million is 8 billion, that is the entire world's population. You don't have to reach millions or even hundreds of thousands.

19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

I cannot stand when people use the word God instead of Jesus Christ. Because the devils won't use the name of Jesus Christ, but they will use the term "God".

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

This is a stinging rebuke. There are many "Christians" who are vain men, their faith is without works, and it is dead.

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

According to the record God said "Now I know" that Abraham has faith.

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

By works faith is made perfect. Do they teach you that in these churches that push "Once saved always saved"? Or do they scream that is works based salvation?

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

This was said after Abraham believed God, but after Abraham offered up Isaac it was fulfilled. It was as though Abraham went through the cross of Jesus Christ before Jesus Christ was crucified. The blood that would be poured out by Jesus in the future was imputed to Abraham back then.

24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

James knew that the "OSAS" doctrine would be a major exit ramp from the narrow way that leads to life so he really hammered this point.

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?

There are a lot of fornicators, adulterers and harlots who have been saved by the blood, but if you have been saved you now need to bring forth fruit worthy or repentance. Rahab saving the messengers is fruit worthy of repentance.

26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
 
Most who claim to be Christian are actually carnal, not giving Him first place.
Scripture tells that is what brought judgement to Sodom and Gomorrah, the way they treated the poor.
 
If you are a child of God you should be a peacemaker.

James 3:1 My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

This word "master" is used for Jesus many times. It refers to one who teaches the word of God and the duties of man. Great teachers who could draw a crowd like John the Baptist, the apostles and Paul, and also of false teachers.

2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

In the previous chapter we are told that "faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect." When you get involved in ministry all those offences within you will bubble up and you will have to confess and deal with them. In your imagination you thought you were spiritual, but when the rubber hit the road you discover all your imperfections and day by day you must deal with them. Here we see it is impossible not to offend in word, everyone will offend in word, and so this allows the Lord to deal with you. This is the harm in having hypocritical Christians (hypocrite refers to actors that wear a mask) if you have people who put on a mask as a Christian their is no actual work being done on them by the Lord to deal with what is in their heart.

3 Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Charlie Kirk went onto college campuses and "turned them about" from the socialist indoctrination to the word of God. On the other hand Adolf Hitler when he took power of Germany turned that entire nation about.

4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

An entire nation is like a great ship, if you have a decisive leader at the helm that ship will go wherever the governor chooses. Donald Trump is an example of a leader who is turning the entire nation in the direction he wants to go. Elon Musk did the same thing with Twitter (now X). Jesus did this and the counterfeit Christ will also do this.

5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

We have witnessed this with Social media. We saw this with Adolf Hitler, his words inflamed the entire world and set it on fire. Jesus said "I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" On the day of Pentecost tongues of fire were seen, it is a picture that the word of God is the fire, it is already kindled and all we need to do is speak it. The world is set on fire of hell, we have holy fire. There is no "neutral country", either you are being set on fire of hell, or you are filled with Holy Spirit fire.

7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind: 8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

College and higher learning teaches people how to be effective speakers. Harvard Law school is an example. However, they don't tame the tongue, many of the lawyers that graduate are full of deadly poison. What the world does is train you, like a Navy Seal. They can be trained killers setting the world on fire of hell. However, the Lord also trains us so that "They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.

Everyone likes to blame others, they like to talk about Hitler or Trump or corrupt lawyers. But, what about you, do you bless God and also curse men made in the likeness of God?

10 Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

It is funny to see someone say "I know as a Christian I shouldn't say this, but..." Social media has been great, all those people who had previously avoided ministry were able to speak. What you will see is many will hide under anonymity and say horrible, terrible curses. We witnessed this after Charlie Kirk's death. What you are seeing is the mouth speaking out of the abundance of the heart. How much hate and bitterness is in these hearts?

11 Doth a fountain send forth at the same place sweet water and bitter?

Even unbelievers could see the vile hate and they knew the fountain that they had been drinking at was contaminated.

12 Can the fig tree, my brethren, bear olive berries? either a vine, figs? so can no fountain both yield salt water and fresh.

Once again, when you get involved in ministry your goal is to bring forth figs, or olives, or wine. The fig tree was first seen when Adam and Eve tried to cover their nakedness. It represents sinners who in this case get saved and bring forth fruit that is good to eat. Olives were used to make oil, and the new covenant is depicted as new wine. Our speaking is compared to a fountain, the Lord said "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." So if you mouth is a fountain of living water it is proof that you have believed on Jesus Christ, but if salt water is coming out of your mouth it is proof that your heart has not been fully changed. This is not a condemnation, no person when they are first saved is fully healed within. However, when these things do come out of you they should convict you, cause you to plead the blood and repent.

13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. 14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

So then where do these nasty things come from? Bitter envying and strife. Think of Cain, why did he kill his brother? Bitter envying and strife. Why was Charlie Kirk killed? Bitter envying and strife. After the rapture, all these people left behind to live during the tribulation, the unbelievers will be filled with bitter envying and strife against the Christians. "Why didn't you tell us?" And that is who will be left behind, the Christians who didn't tell others. That is the point, the Lord wants those who are left behind to repent for not speaking.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

This wisdom refers to the wisdom in using speech to manipulate people. Group think, propaganda, marketing, mind control, etc.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Gas lighting is confusion, and it is done because of envying and strife. When you see gas lighting it is like seeing a smoke bomb during a battle, you know that where that is there is an evil work going on.

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Charlie Kirk was an excellent example, a figure for all of us on social media. If you are speaking from God you may be touching on very controversial and inflammatory topics but you are peaceable and gentle. Do you ever see how some are so entrenched that it is impossible to intreat them? Charlie was in contrast to that, he would put up a big sign "prove me wrong" and he would invite all those who disagreed to be the first ones to speak at the microphone. He encouraged people to email him and he read every email. He wanted to know what was in people's hearts so he could address it. The media (Fake news, Legacy Media, etc) is partial, everyone has an agenda, and it is full of hypocrisy. Wow, it is so obvious today, you will see clips of people responding to Charlie Kirk's death saying exactly the opposite of what they said when George Floyd died.

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

The peacemakers are called the Son's of God. If you are a child of God you should be a peacemaker.

PROPHECY- GROSS DARKNESS

Jeremiah 13:16-17 16 Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. 17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock is carried away captive.

My son, because of the pride in My Church, I have now brought GROSS DARKNESS upon this nation. It is no small thing that the Church has done. The pastors whom I have placed over My children have led them astray and into the world. They have taken My Holiness and mixed it with vanity. They have taken My Word and twisted it to fit their own doctrines. The pastors have abused My children and satisfy their lust in the flesh. GROSS DARKNESS HAS NOW FALLEN ON MY CHURCH - AND THE SHAKINGS HAVE BEGUN.

My son, THE WORLD HAS NOW ENTERED INTO A NEW PARADIGM. AS NATIONS HAVE NOW DIVIDED MY LAND - I WILL DIVIDE THEIRS. GREAT BRITAIN, CANADA, FRANCE AND AUSTRALIA - YOU WILL FEEL MY WRATH. THE MANY NATIONS THAT WANT TO DIVIDE MY LAND WILL NOW FEEL THE GROSS DARKNESS - AS I HAVE REMOVED MY HAND. The minions of satan have been loosed, and now men will understand GROSS DARKNESS. Much blood will be shed and flow like water. I have said to humble yourselves before Me and turn from your evil ways, but you have neither humbled nor turned. The pride of man grows only more wicked, and THE DAY HAS ARRIVED THAT ALL THE WORLD WILL KNOW THAT I AM GOD.

My son, CRY NOT for this nation, but CRY for mercy to be shown. For My blind church will have their eyes opened, and I will allow them to see the GROSS DARKNESS. There are many of My Remnant now ready to reap the harvest. BE READY to minister as the eyes of the blind are made to see, and many will need the truth. Stand on My Word! Seek Me in all things! Brace yourselves to Me! I AM THE ONLY WAY! Do not get caught up in the events of the world. There will be chaos, bloodshed, and much confusion. But I AM HERE - ALWAYS WITH YOU - THROUGH the perilous times. My Church - Repent now!! Turn from your evil ways and seek Holiness in Me! Pray much and seek Me! THE POINT OF NO RETURN IS PAST. The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against the builded church

James 4:1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?

This is not written to kings and rulers, it was written to the 12 tribes in the dispersion. James had a ministry to the circumcision, referring to Jewish believers. So this is referring to the fights we see among believers. We see this on the internet and social media all the time. Probably the single most famous example of these fightings is Charlie Kirk going onto campuses and debating people over various issues. The lusts here refer to things like pride, ambition, covetousness, and envy.

2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.

This seems extreme to talk about killing, but if you want to know why Charlie Kirk was killed it was because of covetousness and envy. He built the most powerful and influential political organization and that has resulted in a lot of covetousness and envy. If he had simply been willing to be a lacky for the powers that be they wouldn't have killed him, but they desired to have control of his ministry and they couldn't obtain. He was under intense spiritual attack, he helped people get elected, he influenced who got appointed, it was a power that invites envy.

3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

The requests came to him in order to consume it on their lusts and in order to be faithful to God he had to say no. Some people say that we should not get involved in politics. I do not see that prohibition in the New Testament, but I do see the New Testament telling us we are not ignorant of Satan's devices. You can be sure if you build a powerful and influential ministry that touches the rulers of this age, well then, you will certainly be in the bulls eye of Satan. The entire halls of power lie in the evil one, you don't step into that arena without getting his full attention.

4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

It would be foolish to think that Satan did not have false brothers and sisters who secretly stole into that organization in order to figure out how to bring them into submission just as what we saw with the Judaizers and the church that Paul talked about in Galatians. They were strong enough to influence Peter, you can be sure they will be strong enough to influence many who appear to be pillars of the faith. Second, don't be surprised if this goes as far as them being adulterers and adulteresses. We saw close people to Paul who loved the world and became enemies of God. It is a temptation common to man to love the world. What we saw at Charlie Kirk's memorial was an assembly of the most powerful politicians in the world, so you can be absolutely certain they will use every resource available to them to get control of this ministry. Samson was brought down by Delilah, so don't shy away at this reference to them being adulterers and adulteresses.

5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

Every human being has been infected with sin and that spirit dwells within us lusts to envy. The point is that in a spiritual warfare Satan will go after the weak link. Jesus had 12 disciples and one was the weak link. Some will be tempted to lust unto envy. They will want the ministry to become more political, wield more political power, and to compromise the stand with the Lord. People who donate money, people who are in the ministry, somewhere their will be a weak link. This is not speculation, it is a spiritual principle. If your ministry involves money, then it will certainly invite some to be covetous. You are much safer if there is no money involved. If your ministry is involved in helping one party defeat another party in an election then you can be sure it will invite envy, ambition and pride. If Satan needs to use Delilah he will, there are many examples in the Bible of Israelites being tempted and succumbing to the temptation of the Devil.

6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

We should be very tuned into these things like pride, it is not a small thing, it exists in all of us and it must be dealt with continuously. For example if you hear "I will build this bigger and better" that is pride. It is up to the Lord, it is His ministry and He will do with it what He wills. If He wants to sacrifice it on the altar, that is His option. Do not talk about what you are going to do unless it is to pray and put your full trust in the Lord. When Charlie Kirk is killed the most common and normal response is to mourn his death. However, some will see this as an opportunity for them, now that he is dead who gets to take his place. Charlie wasn't killed simply to shut him up, he was killed because they were envious and covetous of what he had and they wanted to obtain it for themselves. So then, who obtained it?

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Every single person has two options, submit yourself to God or submit yourself to the enemy. Both will present themselves as god, one of course is the God who sits on the throne, but the other is the prince of this world. For example, if Donald Trump wanted to control turning point and Charlie Kirk refused to submit to him but rather to God, then the only way he could control the organization is to kill Charlie and install someone else who will submit to him. I am not saying this is what happened, what I am saying is that Turning Point needs your prayers because they are in the center of a storm and the evil one wants to take control of that organization. The name Charlie Kirk means "Man Church". What is true of his ministry is also true of every influential church in every city. The people who donate money may want to influence what goes on, FreeMasons may get onto the board of directors, people will become false prophets due to greed, ambition, or pride. If someone has a genuine ministry and does not submit to these evil forces then it will escalate to "kill" or in some way remove the person and seize control of the ministry.

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

The reason for people succumbing to these temptations is that they are double minded. It is as though they are on the fence being pulled in two directions. The solution is to draw nigh to God, don't stay out on that fence, move into the Holy Sanctuary where Satan can't grab you. You also need to cleanse your hands, if you have done anything that can be held over you they can use that to blackmail and manipulate you. Finally, purify your heart, you are double minded because you are thinking "boy, that money sure would help" and you are justifying it by saying "we could do a lot more good with that money".

9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

They always offer you two paths. Here is this great position, you will have a good salary, run a big church, and be able to "help so many people". The other path is to be afflicted, be the poor itinerant preacher. The guy who takes that job will be rejoicing, but you can choose instead to mourn. Moses refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter, 25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
 
The Gates of Hell shall not prevail against the builded church (part 2)

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Do you understand, one path is where the world will lift you up and the other is where you humble yourself refusing the honors the world would bestow, and it is the Lord who shall lift you up.

11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

If you submit to the evil then you will be required to be their lackey. Now if there is a true man of God speaking they will want you to use your influence to speak evil of this brother. You chose to be a puppet of evil overlord, this is the consequence. We should all be on alert for any brother or sister who acts like a judge. None of us are the "judge". We are witnesses, God is the judge.

12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

Sometimes I will post a link to a video where the person is sharing something I disagree with. I have said repeatedly my criteria for posting is not whether or not I agree. The criteria is simple, is it relevant to this blog? Yes, then is it based on the Bible? Yes, then I will post it unless it is redundant and we have already discussed this. Even if it is a topic we have already discussed if it is a new perspective then that is fine. Now sometimes I will comment on things they say I disagree with, but it is not a judgment on the person, it is a discussion of the truth and Biblical interpretation. So when you see a brother set himself up as judge, that is pride and arrogance.

13 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: 14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

This is also pride. If you say "I will build this up bigger and better" that is the display of pride. Instead say my life is a vapour, I am one with the Lord whatever He wills.

15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

This is the proper attitude. Learn these tips and you'll spot the lusts in people because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

Boasting about your power, boasting about your promotion, boasting about the things you have, the things you have done, etc.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

This conclusion only makes sense if you understand this chapter. James is brilliant this way, if you don't understand this conclusion you don't understand the chapter. Let's say I grow up thinking the goal in life is to do well in school and get a good job. I go to Harvard, I get a job as a lawyer and I win cases because that is what good, high paid lawyers do. That is not evil, simply naive. But now suppose I am a saved Christian, who has studied the word and knows the truth. I now have an opportunity to be the pastor of this big church with several thousand people in the congregation, a well funded and powerful board of directors, and what to all would appear to be a great job. But you know that the board members are FreeMasons and you know there will be strings attached to this job where you will be required to submit to them rather than to the Lord. If you take that job it is a sin.
 
Do not take the path where everything ends up in smoke

James 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you.

Life is not fair. People complain about not being rich, complain that 150 years ago their ancestors were slaves, etc. But what is fair is that every one of us will have to stand before the Lord and be judged for the things we have done. If you see the great depression coming and you are poor, well so what, not much different than today. But if you are rich, and you are about to lose everything, that fall is much harder to take.

2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.

This is why these things come on us slowly, so all can see it coming. It isn't that one day they were rich and tomorrow it is all gone. No, it takes a generation, little by little the wealth is nothing but an illusion, an act. The rich become hypocrites, actors, pretending to still be rich despite knowing they are broke.

3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.

Day by day the witnesses are gathered against you waiting for that day when you stand before the Lord. Every one of us will die at some point, our flesh will be eaten, and yet the rich are heaping treasure up as though that will help. You can't take it with you and that treasure you are heaping up thinking it will help you escape the purge, it will be a witness against you.

4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth.

God is a discerner of the hearts. If you care about your fellow man you would not be heaping the treasure up and you would not be scamming your workers by fraud. If you really cared about them their cries to the Lord would be a witness for your defense. James is telling them, you need to repent. What you really need is not treasure heaped up, but some witnesses for the defense. Maybe someone who will testify that you showed them mercy, maybe someone else who will testify that because of your gift to a ministry they are saved.

5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter.

Think of every human as being a creature that God created. Every single one can turn to God, be saved, be redeemed, and become a born again child of God. That is the ultimate hope for this life. But instead of you seizing that hope you are looking at these fat cows and pigs in the feed lot that are being fattened up for the day of slaughter and being jealous of them?

6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

They are like a prisoner on death row waiting to be executed. The only way to deal with sins is with the blood of Jesus, if you don't humble yourself before the Lord, confess your sins and take the blood of Jesus they will not be erased. Why do you think Cain killed Abel, because he was jealous? Sure, but if Abel had a very successful business as a sheep herder do you think Cain simply killed Abel without stealing his herds? Satan is a murderer and he is a thief. When Charlie Kirk was killed sure they were jealous, they wanted to shut him up, but they also wanted his organization Turning Point. The people who killed him were also thieves as well as murderers.

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

The early rain refers to all the amazing things God did recorded in the Bible in bringing the people of God out of Egypt. The latter rain refers to all the amazing things God does after their journey through the wilderness in bringing them into the good land. At the beginning of the church age Acts records the early rain that the church received and the death of Stephen was a very major event. What we see at the beginning is the early rain, at the end of the church age we will see more amazing things being fulfilled as the latter rain and the death of Charlie Kirk (Charlie - Man, Kirk - Church, and his middle name James was the first apostle martyred). This event has revealed hearts because God is a discerner of hearts. We see those mourning, we see those gleefully rejoicing, and we see those who murdered him in order to steal what he had. When the rapture takes place there will be many who are in big, well funded churches but discover that they have been left behind. Why? Who was it that killed Stephen? Clearly the Jews were behind it. At the time the church was a sect of the Jewish religion, everyone in Jerusalem was Jewish, but the church were like a small messianic sect claiming that Jesus was the Messiah. It wasn't the Romans that killed Stephen, it was the Jews. Saul of Tarsus was at the center of this and it kicked off the persecution of the church from that point on. After the rapture there will be a great persecution against the church with a lot of Christians being killed. At that time they will learn they were deceived like Samson being deceived by Delilah.

8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

This is the message, you saw people gleeful that Charlie was assassinated, that was a peak behind the curtain. That lets you see how real the Antichrist spirit is and how evil it will be. It is currently being restrained, but after the rapture it will not be restrained any longer.

9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door.

Wake up, I see all these posts on Social Media and there is a whole lot of grudging one against another.

10 Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

When you speak the word of God there is a cost to pay, a sacrifice. You must sacrifice your ego, you must open yourself up to being mocked and ridiculed. Think about Jonah, he goes around saying in 40 days this city will be overthrown and what happens, they repent and God relents. Nineveh is saved, God is happy, and Jonah now is mocked and ridiculed.

11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Think of the Christians as during the church age as Job. We have been speaking of the coming judgment, we have chosen a path that means we will suffer affliction as we look to that day in the future while everyone we know enjoys the world, laughs at the gospel and is fattened for the day of slaughter. Two very different paths, but look at where they end up. Job's path ends up in a place that is blessed with the double portion of God while the world ends up in a place where everything goes up in smoke.
 
How to return to the path that leads to life if we have erred from the truth

James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.

James is a book that lets you know if you are on the narrow way that leads to life or if you are on the broad way that leads to destruction. The single biggest warning sign of a cult and that you are on the broad way is this requirement to swear allegiance to a man. James tells you this is the single biggest warning sign, do not swear an oath to a man. If you think about it, the mark of the beast is the ultimate example of swearing an oath to a man. It is the clearest sign of the antichrist.

13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

Paul said that all things work together for good to those who love God. When I first got saved I couldn't go an hour without depression taking over, so every hour I would stop what I was doing for five minutes and read the Bible. I had some song tapes where they had put the psalms in the Bible into songs as well as some of the other books of the Bible. I listened to those tapes over and over and over again. When depression got real bad I would start reading in Galatians. At some point the depression would be gone, sometimes I was still in Galatians, or perhaps Ephesians or Philippians, the furthest I ever got was Colossians. I wasn't joyful, it was just that the depression had passed, I'd put the Bible down and was able to go on about my business.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

I think many do not understand this verse. If you are sick you need to get fellowship from the elders. Perhaps the problem is something you are doing. At one point I was selling plasma, the elders saw that I was not well and talked to me. Our messages would often touch on healthy practices, how much water to drink, how much sleep to get, how much exercise. These things are mentioned in the Bible and you should develop a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes our health issues are the result of sins. There are consequences to sin, you reap what you sow, but at the very least you can be forgiven and have a clean conscience. I recently got sick and began to examine myself. I realized the sin was that the Lord wanted me to address the Once Saved Always Saved doctrine and I had continuously put it off. He was saying there was no more time to put it off. This was His blog, we were working together on it, but I was not in a position to continually put this off. So even though I was sick I would get up and make a post. The first one was about two minutes and then I was back to bed. But with each post I felt better. After a day I was weak, but no longer sick.

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

How many times are we asked to pray for someone who is sick and yet they never confess their faults. This is like leaving the doctor in the dark. We need to diagnose the problem if we are going to have effectual fervent prayer.

17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

Do you think he just got up one day on the wrong side of the bed and decided to pray for a drought and a famine? If Elias was a righteous man then he must have been praying according to the Lord's will and if you are praying according to the Lord's will you must know the word of God. You must be able to see from the word of God where we are and what is coming. Also, his prayer must have been public, otherwise how is it that everyone knows he was praying for a drought and a famine? Perhaps for the first week or two people thought it was a joke. Maybe after two or three months they thought we had just had a lack of rain and needed to conserve, stop watering your lawn, etc. But after a year the king is going to be calling for everyone to pray for rain and this guy is praying for a drought. In an agricultural society where everyone's livelihood depends on rain. He would have been hated. And yet, he continues to pray this way for another two and a half years! It got so bad the king was sending out companies of soldiers, fifty at a time, to kill Elias. This is spiritual warfare.

18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

The point was to get people to repent and see that Jehovah (Jesus) is Lord. Everything climaxed on the mountain when he called down fire from heaven. Everyone was stuck between two opinions, is Elias right or are all the prophets of Baal right? After the fire fell from heaven there was no more debate. The drought was necessary to bring everyone to that mountain. But once the people repented it was time for the rain so they could see that was the issue.

19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

This is the conclusion to the entire book of James. He covers many, many examples of how we err from the truth and he gives us the cure, how to get back onto the narrow way that leads to life. Also, he points out that once we have corrected ourselves and returned to the path that leads to life we can help others and by doing that we are bringing forth fruit worthy of repentance.

The Viewpoint of those left behind

Micah 7:1 Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

The rapture is likened to the harvest of summer fruit, so here Micah is giving us the viewpoint of those left behind after the rapture.

2 The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

I think it is very important to see that the assassination of Charlie Kirk is a prophetic sign to us. I have likened his death to that of Stephen at the start of the church age. After Stephen was killed the persecution of the church began, likewise the message is that after Charlie Kirk was killed the persecution of the church during the tribulation will begin. So we are that close. I have also likened his death to that of Abel, the first martyr, because we see that even though he is dead his blood still speaks. That is a very nice encouraging word for those who are about to be martyred during the tribulation. Your death will be your strongest testimony. But here I want to compare Charlie Kirk's death to Samson. I think it is fair to say that Charlie Kirk embodied the picture of the strong man, going onto campus and slaying the Philistines with the jawbone of an ass. The issue that Samson had was he got hooked up with Delilah, who I feel represents the deep state. Even though Charlie Kirk was a Christian with a very strong testimony he was also intimately connected to politics. Here is what I have learned in my Christian walk, what you do with this is up to you. First, I don't want to have anything to do with money because I know that money is like honey and will attract flies. I think the attraction of money is the downfall of many, many ministries. Even those who don't care about money, someone will come and offer to give money to help "spread" their ministry, to help "build it up", so that they can do so much more. What they are doing is buying influence, I do not sell influence to my ministry. This is totally between me and the Lord. Second if you build an organization it will become coopted by Satan. Think of the YMCA, or any other large Christian ministry. People are brought in, perhaps 11 are genuine disciples of the Lord but one out of twelve will be a Judas. I consider the rich young ruler who came to the Lord to be a pastor of a 501c3 church. The church is controlled by a board of directors which in turn is controlled by Freemasons (Satanists). The Lord's advice was to sell all that you have and give to the poor (when you sell off a 501c3 organization the money has to go to another 501c3, Jesus is saying sell all and give to a soup kitchen). One temptation is "I can do so much more if I work with them". I disagree, Jesus didn't take that path, Paul didn't take that path, I see no reason why that path is better than the ones they took. I recently attended the memorial service for Charlie Kirk. I was sitting in the nosebleed seats and could see the entire stadium. They said it was 100,000 people. I knew over 700,000 have come to this blog, so it hit me, all those people would fill 7 of these stadiums! Granted Charlie Kirks ministry has reached far more people, it is in the millions, but his organization might have a hundred or more people working with him. In fact at this point Turning Point likely has over 1,000 members. My point is I have a valid mathematical reason to reject the temptation that "I could reach more people". Anyway, how you serve the Lord is between you and the Lord, it is not for me to judge another man's servant. I am simply sharing the temptations that are common to man and the word the Lord gave me to avoid being led into temptation.

3 That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

This is the way of the world. If you work with the rulers of this world this is what will happen. The prince refers to government rulers, the judge of course refers to those working in the department of justice and the great man refer to the rich and influential. We have been told to pray for them. This is what I use AI for, I ask for the names of government officials, judges, and corporate officers of major companies and I pray for them by name. Pray that they hear the gospel, command that Satan and the demons stop communicating with them, stop giving them drugs, stop giving them the advantage of money, social status and that they have a sober mind to consider the gospel and make a choice for themselves. In every city you will have two or three key elected officials as well as about ten or twenty city council members. There are thousands of names to pray for. I think this would be a marvelous prayer ministry for anyone seeking a ministry, but on the other hand I would never be unequally yoked with these people. That is what happens when you allow them to influence your ministry.

4 The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

This is what politics is, you vote for the better of two bad choices.

5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

This seems extreme, but during the tribulation this will be the reality. In my own opinion I believe the guy with the gun who shot at Charlie Kirk is the pawn. The entire thing was arranged by people much higher up and some of them had to be very close to Charlie. If you have ever been involved in a ministry with a number of other brothers and sisters you will know that every single one of them has an opinion. Some think you should do this, some think you should do that, some think what you are doing is crazy, etc. Yes, we need godly counselors, but at the same time what is most important is to be able to hear the Lord's leading and the Holy Spirits leading. If Peter is rebuking Jesus saying he doesn't need to go to the cross you can be sure you will get the same fellowship in your ministry. If your ministry is not going to the cross you will abide alone, the only way you bring forth much fruit is if you go to the cross.

6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

This is only slightly the case during the church age, but it will be full blown during the tribulation. When I was on Facebook (didn't last long before I was suspended and left that platform) I was shocked to see how many were pagans. A pagan is not an unbeliever, or an atheist or even an agnostic. They believe in God and they will even portray themselves as Christians. But it is Christianity with a pagan twist. The first big clue is they don't take the Bible as the word of God. They'll say it is a good book, but it is out of date, sexist, etc. They will use ridiculous Bible translations that justify abortion. That dishonors God the Father, they are rising up against the church which is their mother. All the watchmen can testify the enemies of the watchmen are not unbelievers, it is the men of their own house (the church).

7 Therefore I will look unto the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

This is by far the single most important thing, to look unto the Lord and wait for the God of my salvation. You must pray to Him believing He will hear. When you have a ministry there will be a thousand voices trying to tell you which way to go. You need to be able to cut off all of them, tune all of them out, and listen to the Lord.

8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me.

If you are a genuine ministry of the Lord then you will be on the front lines of the spiritual warfare and you will be attacked day and night. To me it is like football or basketball. A lot of times it will look like you are losing but the game isn't over. At that point you are sitting in darkness praying for the Lord to be a light unto me, which way do I go, how do I respond.

9 I will bear the indignation of the Lord, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

Any genuine ministry of the Lord must bear the indignation of the Lord. If you see a Christian ministry which is praised and lauded by the world, by rulers, judges and corporate overlords then know for a certainty that ministry has been coopted by Satan.

10 Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the Lord thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

Many people are now mocking and ridiculing Joshua as a "false prophet" concerning the rapture. The bottom line for me is that one day the rapture will take place and when it does the Lord will take those He approves of and leave behind those who shall now be trodden down as the mire of the streets.
 
The Gospel of a second chance

1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,

Peter is a great example of what you should do when you fall. In Micah we hear him pray "rejoice not against me when I fall" and here we are with Peter, a leading apostle, who denied the Lord. He was so sure that he would never deny the Lord, that was pride, and he got sifted for that. So let's learn from Peter what to do when we fall and need to get back up.

2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

First go back to the promises of God. Did Peter fall? Yes. Was it according to the foreknowledge of God? Yes. The Lord knew he was going to fall, but Peter was elect also according to the foreknowledge of God. Jesus told him that he would deny Him, He also told him that when he rose up from that fall to help his brethren. Peter had a problem with obedience throughout the gospels, especially when he heard that Jesus was going to the cross. He had very strong opinions. But you can become transformed, you can get a new heart, through the sanctification of the Spirit. Your mind can be renewed and that will result in obedience. Ultimately you will be come a priest sprinkling the blood on others. Peter learned first hand that with the Lord even though we fall we can still have grace and peace multiplied to us.

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Wow! Think of what Peter is saying. Jesus rising from the dead was an abundant mercy to him. He denies the Lord right before He was crucified. How many people regret the last thing they said to a loved one? You feel that it is permanent, there is no way to be forgiven for that. You can see why he was so excited to hear that Jesus had risen from the dead, the first one to enter the tomb. This was giving him a second chance.

4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Think of how Peter felt after the crucifixion. He had given his life to the Lord, and now everything was defiled by his sin, everything was fading away. But when Jesus rose from the dead it changed everything, he could be forgiven, he had a second chance, everything was undefiled, it didn't fade away, and the promises of God stood strong that everything was reserved in heaven for him.

5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Peter has been humbled. No longer is it "even if everyone else denies you, I won't". Instead it is "I am kept by the power of God through faith", it is not of me but all of Him.

Now we can see why this letter is written to strangers who are scattered. Peter had been a leading apostle, he was the one to whom Jesus gave the keys of the kingdom. He wasn't a stranger, he wasn't scattered. But after he denied the Lord I bet that is exactly how he felt. Then when Jesus rose and that gave him a second chance, he must have been so happy for the Lord's mercy to him, that everything he thought had been defiled and lost had been returned. So now he can fully empathize with strangers who are scattered and he can be the merciful one to open the door to them to the kingdom of God.
